Thank you , this mission was harder than fighting all the bosses at once , i remember it was easier in yakuza 0
Finally beaten this part in 2022. Big thanks to you and everyone who uploaded their guides. One tip for the last part is, watch for the crosshair lines (there are 4 lines). when it's red and 2 lines are about to merge, then it's time to hide. I failed many times (maybe around 10-15 times) because I didn't know the correct time to hide. So happy and platinum is on the way.

Thank you a ton for making this guide. Earlier today I had done this section for about 3 hours, only getting to the driver section twice and dying both times. I took a break (I really needed one) and came back to it just now after having watched several guides for this section. I literally paused and watched this one as I went along and I beat the section first time lmao. The details on this one and showing when to reload I think really helped a lot! Time to get that plat and make my way to Kiwami 2!

My car and Kiryu both had 20% health at the end - the circle was in the red and we were about to be rammed for a second time but I must have shot him at the last second lol.
The only thing I'd change is that some of the paragraphs pop up and leave too quickly to read sometimes!

Fantastic guide m8! Best one out there! The numbers above enemies did wonders. I did it in my 2nd try. The key is to hold X to stay in car when truck rams us at the end and we will keep our health.

Thank you so much! Best guide I watched for this. I was worried I'd never be able to do it but it took me 12 tries total. Knowing now that the cars and bikes don't have an endless spawn really helped so I stayed patient to take all them down then I could easily deal with the missile guy on top.
Stage 3 kept screwing me over but your pattern helped I managed to pass it the last 3 attempts only to get screwed over by the truck guy at the end twice. My heart is beating so fast but I FINALLY DID IT. I already got the platinum for 0, now I'm on my way to the platinum for kiwami thanks to your guide!

Thank you so much! Tried once "blind", watched this video once, failed, tried again while watching and got it 3rd try! Showing the order to shoot guys was extremely helpful, same with the pattern and when to reload/wait for heat to recharge. Just overall amazing video!

After playing it for 7 hours straight and going to bed angry. I have finally beaten this damn mission in the year 2023. For those of you thinking about giving up, keep trying. thank you so much, the guide helped a lot, ESPECIALLY the tip about aiming at their necks, i was aiming more to the top of the head and the difference was clear as day, took me like about 3-4 hours of total attempts (including the restaurant part clearly)

I hate this section so much!!! I died at least 50 times and still trying but your guide genuinely really helps, thanks man! It honestly brings this game down for me from an 8 to a 5 literally 😭
Sure! I think I was around 50 too or maybe more lol! It's really crazy how they never patched a checkpoint here or made it easier. Scale difficulty here is 1000 up compared to other sections, no balancing at all, lol! Hope u make it, best of luck!

@@tashi9593 or at least let us skip all cutscenes in the chapter at once, instead of having to manually skip all 9 cutscenes leading up to the chase. A third of the time it takes for me to get back to the car chase is spent just pausing, pressing X, and then “yes”.

Let me just say first - Yes this is understandably the infamous car chase segment irritating. Some even said Y0 is easier than this.
But in reality if you ask me, both Y0 & Y1 car chase segment is almost identical in terms of difficulty
Y0 - you start out after talking to the video guy dude. Even if you finish out the car chase, you still need to fight through Shibusawa's goons in the warehouse.
Y1 - you start out by fighting Snake Triad goons THEN the car chase scene.
The only difference is the segment of the car chase segment's order.
Hmm I never attempted 0 on Legendary but on Normal I found it a little easier than this

Big advice: Shoot at the circle, NOT at the guys. When you focus on aiming at the center of the circles this becomes EASY MODE.

Watching this and playing it through 7 times myself..I’ve come to realise that you have to make use of your TWO HEALTH BARS (you and the car)
Just make sure your HP is at or more than the Heat bar when you get to the last stage.

Guys, *by far* the #1 best tip to make this as "easy" as possible - it's still quite hard though even if you do this - is to use your mouse and *not* a gamepad for this section.
That tip I just mentioned is simpler and better and way more effective than all of the instructions in this video put together.
And the second most important thing is always to aim for the middle of the circles, not at the yakuza people themselves.
You can't use a mouse or keyboard on PS4, or at the time this video was made.

Underrated guide before i didnt manage to get past the first truck section after this i always end up loosing against the truck driver himself but just because i didnt read the Text with Orange Bar.

Here’s why this level sucks on legend if you’re not lucky to get this within the first couple of tries you have to restart the entire chapter that’s not hard it’s annoying to have through skip every damn cutscene, this yakuza 1 so we have to have a cutscene every fucking time someone so much as breathes
😆 yes... I became so good that it would take me about 6 minutes or so to get to this part 🤣😅... it be nice if they kept at least checkpoint for this lvl or treated as it's own lvl, I heard that PS2 actually had a checkpoint on legend but I am not sure... 😅

I did it, somehow it took me 4 attempts, in the truck driver part kiryu life was like 5% and i manage to shoot the driver with such perfecction that he didnt bumped me once, i celebrated afterwards, thats is not impossible but its so difficult.
Hahaha I dont know how it works honestly, I seen people mange to shoot him without the bump(I might did this couple times from all the tries too)but I couldn't get the pattern or Aim point lol

I feel like I have been stuck on this section for almost my entire life, at this point. Megaman, Dark Souls and Cuphead were all easier to complete than this one section! Once I finally got the platinum on Yakuza 0 I thought "Right, nothing could ever be as unfair as those climax battles were." Oh how wrong I was...
I tried Yakuza 0 on legendary and gave up one on the bathroom scene, lol. I hope you make it! Taking breaks and coming back sure helps!
@@tashi9593 Hi, I eventually did it. So far I've got the platinum achievements on Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1,2 4,6 and like a dragon. Kiwami 1 was definitely the hardest one I have got.

I did it! I messed up the machinegun guy on a truck and bikers, Kiryu's hp down to almost zero- car health almost full. By some miracle I stopped truck driver from ramming me one time. Second time i ducked in the car and let him hit me just to be safe and then i finished him off. I was trying like 7 times yesterday and then bam first try on second day

I found out that if you manage to kill the guy standing on top of the truck. All of the cars and motorcycles will just automatically crash themselves bypassing it.

Honestly, I hate whoever designed this along with the "exit game and reload save" feature of legend.
Yes. not heaving a checkpoint after boss is kind of wierd.. And exit game has something to do with Legendary difficulty or am I wrong, I hardly remember mechanics now ...
@@tashi9593 Yeah, it's a legend mode mechanic. Even if they just let me reload my save I'd appreciate that, but I have to go back to the menu to do that.
Anyways, got the truck and got rammed - does it damage both you and the car of you're poking out? Wondering if I could've saved that run by staying out.
Ah, researching the end of my video, I answered my own question. I'll make sure to pop my head out if the car's too hurt. Appreciate the video btw, very helpful.

@@tashi9593 Taking a break is, funny enough, something I learned to do because of Kiwami. Always good to hear it as advice though, it certainly does helps to take breaks.
currently trying to get through this, I can mostly make it to the truck part without too many problems what I did not know and I don't think any guide mentions this is when you get to the part with the rocket launcher guy and you are about to go to the driver make SURE the rocket launcher doesn't have a red circle because your camera will switch and it's near impossible to intercept the rocket and it does a ton of damage.
I managed to get to the last part twice but got one hit killed because the car didn't have enough health, really could've done without that
Thank you for pointing out, I think it happens when you made over damage or something like that, sometimes rockets will also fly outside the screen range 😂. Best of luck, don't give up!
@@tashi9593 thank you! I got it a few days ago shortly after leaving the comment, took me an insane amount of time though, probably around 20 tries because I almost always messed up at the rocket launcher part, getting nervous will end a run fast 😅

Although some people may have done it in 10 tries. I myself took at least 2 months (not everyday) to beat this. So don't feel gutted if you have failed 2 days consecutive
I think I may have 50 tries or even more LOL! In addition as a side story, It took me a month (1 hour every day only so much stress I could handle) and two controllers to beat Theseus in God of War 2 on titan while I saw some people do the whole game in 6 hours... I am proud of my timing though! LOL

@@GamerBoy870 Don't Give up! I think it helps if you try it a few times and then take a break.... Anger can be distracting at least for me and this lvl is very angry. The funniest thing is: this is like the hardest part of the game on this difficulty but a core play is NOT even around the shooting! LOL! I don't know how gear works for this lvl but maybe it can help (health point boosting)

Ive tried 30+ times on lengend and cant beat it its so hard kiryu shoots rubber bullets lack of checkpoints i have to beat a boss every time i die

Bit late to the party but I'm gonna try this later by pausing the video after every car etc. Being trying for a couple of hours all together and always get took out by the 3 guys on truck... I wouldn't mind replaying the chase sequence over and over its just the dam 3 battles before thats annoying. Its a walk in the park with all stats maxed but still annoying as shit to have to do them over and over
Certainly! A checkpoint would be nice! I think I mastered to < 7 minutes thru all those sections to get here lol

This wouldn't even be that bad if there was an actual checkpoint before the truck section. Did they even playtest this part? Like its so fucking awful I legit quit the gamed for ages because of it
I am guessing they forgot to put it after boss.... or maybe decided to make it as one sequence. In 0 on legendary you die and it's game over and there is no NG+.... I tried once and moved on.. lol
The fucking camera moves too weird and i keep dying at the truck pqrt with the rockets
LOL yes! Rockets sometimes come from no where for a difficulty, this is a design not that great..
Still haven't been able to beat the car chase, but I got the furthest using this method!
I can't use EKZO with my keyboard for some reason? So I have to either try and do it without EKZO, or use my gamepad which is a lot harder to aim with than a mouse.
UPDATE: I beat it finally, and worked out that EKZO is shift, even though the game says it's up.

Yeah for some reason, I only get to the last guy but then he rams me to death when my hp is really high for the car and me...
Hmm I think you can take 2 hits with full hp or maybe only one, its also possible if you try to unload full clip at him at the neck spot he will stagger not sure if this always works though... this is also play at fully upgraded character with boost items 😅.
Tash I Yeah. This is my only trophy for the plat. What boost items...? I went in with everything done before going into Legendary.

I meant like the items/gear equip, I don't know if it matters for the car chase, but assuming some do boost health and reduce damage its possible that some maybe be help here as well, but I never tested this. I would just recommend equipping the best ones and see if damage is slightly to get a little boost with the track, I hope it works for you! Love this series!

this parts are so bad kiwami 2 made it a beat em up segment instead. This kinda stuff really needs check points at the very least. Hell they could have even let me save after the boss fight beforehand but no, you have to fight your way to a boss, beat said boss, then do a shootout section where you get at best 3 hits before failing... honestly they need to just remove these sections from the games imo and stick to pure beat em up or just idk let me fucking heal. there's legend and then theirs ball busting difficult
Lol! I felt that frustration! I have no clue why there is no check point after the boss.... Wild guess would be they forgot to do it. On other guess I think they were trying to mix up a gun play.... but gun mechanics and camera..... OH BOI!!!! I still don't know if equipping items helps or not TBH but I had all gun gear equipment when I did this just in case I think.

@@yondabigman4668 HAHAHAH, I don't blame you it can be crazy frustrating especially camera movements sometimes. There should be an option just to beat all them with the Beast style.... Probably be easier :) They did put cars beatdown in 7.... LOL!
Thanks for the help! I managed to finally beat this on Legend after 5 retries. I lost half of the car health but i managed to keep the truck from hitting it, so you don't necessary need to protect the car if you can manage to stop the truck at the end, here is my video : ruclips.net/video/Ikm2aQ6Mcx4/видео.html
