- Snowleopard meets black java leopards. Intimidating them at first, being much larger at the same age - then preferring the safety of his basket.

We are so envious of the zookeeper for having to close bonding to the cute, fluffy, adorable cuddly and beautiful creatures 😅
I am jealous of these folks to the core of my heart for being being able to handle and pet these gorgeous creatures. it is making me cry, don't think that i can watch any more!
Apply for a job at a zoo? The cats will be thankful!

I got unbelievably lucky as a kid when i saw the most incredible opportunity, and seized the moment. I asked the cougars handler if i could please pat her, if she likes being patted? She did.
She was an old sweetheart and purred. I have never understood why nobody else wanted to meet and pat her! Not asking, sure, cause they assumed it wasnt an option, but even after seeing me kneeling down patting a very affectionate, sweet cougar, nobody else wanted to meet and pat her?
The sweet looks she gave her handler were full of love and trust. She purred and nuzzled him. ❤ Its one of my most precious memories, and im honored to have met and patted her. I hope one day you have an opportunity like that :)
Ps: the big cat sanctuary has 2 baby snow leopards right now! They are yarko and leilas 3rd litter. Their older brother shen was quiet, cuddly, and shy as a kitten. The videos of him are justnthe cutest thing, too!

Faszinierend, wie Tiere reagieren, sie sind die besseren Menschen!! Und wir sollten immer daran denken, dass Zoos natürlich sehr zwiespältig sind, aber ohne sie gäbe es vielleicht viele dieser Tiere nicht mehr!! Ich beneide diese Tierpfleger für ihre großartige Arbeit!!

That baby leopard doesnt trust the baby black Panthers. He already senses and knows that Panthers are not the same as he is and will probably fight viciously with them in time if they stay together.

I doubt that ... I'm pretty sure they are spending their lives in zoos (and will have children of their own now). I'm not aware of successful re-wilding of snow leopards.
Snow leopard is one of the most if not the most solitary cats so obvious it prefers its metime elsewhere

Hat sich eigentlich irgend jemand schon mal Gedanken gemacht, wie hochgradig unnatürlich das für diese armen Babies ist, und dass sie sich äußerst unwohl fühlen und Angst haben? Sie gehören in die Natur und nirgendwo sonst hin. Die Menschen dort meinen es gut und verstehen überhaupt nicht, was sie diesen wundervollen Tieren antun.
Es ist beschämend für uns Menschen und egoistisch. Was die Tiere fühlen, interessiert leider keinen.
