@@jairesemccoy9779 Dude it’s a fact. Women in general take on the care for their children more than men do. And no that lion did nothing for the lioness prior to her finding him. No it doesn’t mean all men or all lions are bad fathers but most females of any animal race takes care of their children more than the males do.
Dad comes back and is done with parenting after 5 seconds while the mother has been raising the kids from birth all on her own without food... sounds about right
Male lions do the most of the babysitting because females do most of the hunting. This lion was the leader of his small pride so, he had to leave for petrolling while leaving the mother by herself. Male lions can't lactate either so, naturally it comes on females. Females are also generally more nurturing in behaviour. But that doesn't mean lions don't do anything. If the male lion wasn't marking and protect the territory, some other male lion would've probably entered and killed the cubs and the mom couldn't have done anything. These are gender roles of nature and they work. So, stop with your narrow feminist worldview.
@@strengar7145 There can be. I'm saying she doesn't have offspring of her own. If she's wandering out far from her pride from time to time, it's likely she's searching for a mate, but now that her father is back, she doesn't have to look any further.
Yeah, the realistic thing looked very good. It was just a stupid move because they're talking lions and you can't recreate talking lions in a realistic form
"struggled without the support of a strong leader" - pan to lioness chilling after being perfectly fine without a pride - for those wanting more info, prides typically only have one male leader, it is not uncommon for them to leave, and wouldn't have been a new scenario for her. Not saying it wouldn't be harder, but 'struggled' is a stretch.
It's true, because she has limited opportunity to hunt and feed herself when it's just her and the nursing cubs, whereas in a pride the males usually look after the cubs while the females hunt.
Fact that she wasn't actually a single mother and her husband was literally returning from a long buisness trip is wholesome. The dad already had a daughter with the wife.
Mom: kids your daddy is back. Cubs: hey daddy wanna play? Father: hey kids, off you go then, i have a lot on my plate, i gotta think about securing the parameters.
Lion dads are often rough and mean, but it's only to another male's cubs that he's deadly. It's the Lion dad's job to make sure the cubs know how to respect a king, so when they have prides of their own they will know what's expected of them. It gives the male cubs a head up in what adult life will be like for them because a lot of the time, they're going to be bachelors for quite a while (and for some it'll be for life) and they need to expect other males to be mean. Female cubs tend to have it easier with dad since he's learned that females do a lot of the hard work and in order to keep them around, he needs to be respectful. This shows the girls what to expect from a mate, but you still should show proper respect because a male lion can still kill lioness in a fight.
@@moniquelee8713 Yes, sadly lions have no concept of incest or sexual impropriety. That's a pure human concept and understanding. However, if a population is large enough it can negate the threats of inbreeding: one of the many reasons we have to put effort into conservation. And to give lions credit, some lionesses do leave to find other lions: sometimes to mate to breed, other times to stay, especially if the pride is large one. As much as he would want too, one king can't service them all, especially as he gets older.
I love to see this interaction, checkout how mom and older daughter let the little ones see that he is their leader by going up and greeting him with the head bump, then the little ones approach. Lions are the typical angry dads xD
I like how the male Lion was affectionate with the Lioness and seem to have "words" for the adult daughter. Like...."and where have you been?", lol.
Hakurei Reimu you sound like a typical lesbian. Specifically the “Butch” kind 😉😂
Oh shut up. You're too blind to see the male putting in work. He is risking his life to patrol the area, so his cubs doesn't get killed by other lion males, predators, etc.
Women like you think you're the only parent. I guess single dads don't exist. 🗣️ The type to say male lions don't hunt, the females do all the hunting 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡
That is a stunningly gorgeous family. Look at the mother's face. She looks so calm and content.
Dad comes back and is done with parenting after 5 seconds while the mother has been raising the kids from birth all on her own without food... sounds about right
I know right
So you want the lion to be with the cubs and lioness to go out on sojourn and look after the territory? Cool
@@aishwarypuranik9161 Yep buddy these feminists are really triggered by natural lion behaviour.
@@aishwarypuranik9161 and shivangini rai, you two seem more educated on this subject. Good for you!

Kind of sounds like humans lol
it's more he's doing what he does anyway
It also shows that he fathered his daughters Cubs as well....I mean if they weren't his Cubs he would have killed them....?
@@moniquelee8713 Yes, sadly lions have no concept of incest or sexual impropriety. That's a pure human concept and understanding. However, if a population is large enough it can negate the threats of inbreeding: one of the many reasons we have to put effort into conservation.
And to give lions credit, some lionesses do leave to find other lions: sometimes to mate to breed, other times to stay, especially if the pride is large one. As much as he would want too, one king can't service them all, especially as he gets older.
@@girl1213 i thought so. I know incest is very common in the animal kingdom, just making sure if the mother knew 🤣🤣. Kidding
I love to see this interaction, checkout how mom and older daughter let the little ones see that he is their leader by going up and greeting him with the head bump, then the little ones approach. Then as always mom looks so very proud and regal, as she loves her babies and her "husband" for lack of better term. These animals are incredibly social, the absolute most beautiful thing to see, is adult male and female, show one another affection, by petting cuddling and cleaning each other.
Mother lioness: welcome home darling. Come meet your four children.
Daddy lion (looks at the cubs): Hey kids.
