Luna is so chill. If the boy cat doesn’t want to engage she gives him space and goes and does her own thing. After a while she comes back and gives it another try. She’s patient and intelligent

All that because I was temporarily mesmerized by a panther, and said what I said to simply make a point how awesome Panthers are. If I have to spell it out, I adore my cat just as I always have, and always will. The several likes tell me they get it, the only difference is they are less quick to judge.

He's not huge for a Maine Coon. They get up to 35lbs. I have a 23lb Norwegian which are similar. My boy's the same size maybe a little bigger than Red.
Yup. I only realised partway through the video that this is a Maine Coon. They're huge cats, yet still looks so small compared to Luna. Of course, this size difference is why Luna is not worried about the cat, but the cat is very worried/defensive towards Luna. Same reason why Luna is defensive towards visitors in one of the other videos - they're much bigger than she is.
Yeah, I think the first reaction upon seeing the panther was "Great, my owner is a psychopath and I'm about to be eaten", then when he hears the marriage plans "Well this is an improvement, my owner is simply insane. Not perfect, but an improvement." :)

Very witty, had me smiling the whole time. I must admit, male ginger cats are quite feisty, My landlady has one quite similar in this video and he isn't afraid to take on her german shepard that's approx Luna's size lol.
Haha aww Luna came running so inquisitive to the male cat, she also didn't seem upset at first when he was hissing at her. 😂 I absolutely love how she knows to be gentle, she's such a sweetheart.
nahh, the cat is just not considered as a threat by the leopard, give the size difference. she was more curious as to what that small red thing was. that's why the leopard didn;t even flinch, no matter how much the cat hissed. it's like a small child shouting and trying to be threatening to an adult person, it's just funny.
The small cat probably thought he was about to become a meal given that domestic cats or at least their ancestors were food for anything larger than them

I cannot stand how absolutely stunningly gorgeous Luna is. Animals with black fur have always been my favorite.....but Luna is SO special and beautiful and her coat shines so wonderfully ❤❤❤

He's a Maine Coone so much larger than regular house cats and he's also a orange kitty. They are bold and courageous, sometimes they don't recognize the danger around them. The woman warns her off "Don't be so bold!". My orange cat is the same, she wants to dominate everyone (other cats and even humans - she hisses and strikes you if you do something she doesn't like). She's sometimes too bold for her own good. I mean I dropped a glass jar which broke in a million little pieces and made a loud noise close to her head as she was following me in the kichen and was close to my legs. She didn't flinch or run or anything. I think that I got more scared than she did. I picked her up and got her out of the kitchen to sweep the floor of all that glass so she won't hurt her paws. Most cats would have run to the hills if anything was dropped near them, but not her. It's sweet as she seems to feel very secure in my proximity, but this is not a cat that would survive as stray.
@@adelyna89My orange cat was too stupid to recognize danger and didn't seem to care about pain. I had to pull him away from other cats who were being aggressive towards him and constantly stop him from sticking his hand in fan blades.
Orange cats are legit built different. It also helps that Luna is repeatedly signaling that she’s not a threat and the humans are both relaxed and protecting him every time she comes around. He got the feel for the power dynamic in the house very swiftly and understood that so long as he stayed close to the humans, the giant void kitty would not go for him.
Its amazing to see how gentle, inteligent and empathetic Luna is in such interactions! She is clearly very well taught and trained! You are a great owner and must be very proud of her :D

I have liked black leopards since I was a child. Amazing animals. Luna is a very well socialized. I think it all depends on how much love a creature receives, when it's young, while being raised. Animals also instinctively feel love, which is also reflected in Luna's behavior. I consider both the caring lady and her lovely husband to be very wonderful people. There should be many people like them on earth. If it were so, then there would be no wars and many other bad things that reasonable and good-natured people do not need. Greetings from Hungary!

This is the biggest mistake people make is applying human emotion to an animal. The smartest animals should be able to understand us better and therefore love us most right? Well than why is it that chimpanzees rip peoples faces off and orcas turn on trainers and kill them? Orcas are probably 100 time more intelligent than cats so what can be expected of a cat ? Remember even dogs that have been domesticated for 100s of years will still see kids as prey and maul them occasionally. Stop applying human emotion to animals, you can love them but keep the shotgun really close by.

Red Lion looks like a beautiful Maine Coon! Long body, strong frame, robust muzzle, and lynx tips! Maine Coons are the greatest creatures; real purring machines. They are very smart. I never had to train my ginger Maine Coon, Marshal Ney, to walk on the leash, he just started doing it and we now walk around the block. He opens doors, and many other tricks.
As a cat owner, allow me to clarify: The cat isn't hissing because Luna is a panther. That's just how they act when introduced to other unfamiliar cats who get too close. He's not even scared, just annoyed.

Its insane how a domesticated panther's eyes are so different than a wild one. its too adorable (edit) and to all who say she isnt domesticated, here's the definition: "tame (an animal) and keep it as a pet or for farm produce" She's domesticated.
Actually it's because Luna is a hybrid of an Amur leopard, which she takes after most. I had the same thought as you and I had to get to the bottom of it, look at Amur leopards and you'll see what soft creatures they are. They have those same sweet eyes. Although I agree that all tame big cats seem to have a gentle, innocent look compared to wild..but the amur leopard is a very docile, fluffy leopard compared to the southern leopards we are used to.
There is no such thing as a domesticated Panther. Tamed, yes, but not domesticated. Remember that a panther has a bite force of over 1000psi, where as a pitbull only has a bite force of around 240psi. Also, panthers have a powerful strike with their claws.

Over my 70 years living with cats, dogs, birds, turtles, and fish I find each relationship to be unique, not always predictable, and individual in their introductory reactions to each other. Also as life goes on and things change (such as health, the addition or subtraction of other human and animal companions) new and different behaviors can develop. I just said good bye to my final love. It has been VERY difficult for both of us to have her go to the otherworldly place where she will be reunited with her companions and will meet with all of my beautiful loved ones that I have had over my decades of life. My health precludes caring for a new companion so I will need to adjust to living with just myself. That has already been difficult. Love and appreciate them!
I lost my loving dod .it's been two yrs and it's still hurt s. 😮😢. Can't get myself to get another animal.. I think about it off and on cuz it gets so lonely. besides they make them so pricey I can't afford one .. Animals brings lots of joy and love in our lives ...
Both have such sweet personalities and you can tell humans are their favorite more than any other creature! Luna was super smart , she clearly understood the distress the cat was feeling and kept her distance and didn't get offended at the hissings. She just seemed disappointed to not have been able to make a new friend.
I think the Gorgeous Panther is also showing the cats owner respect by being quite mellow and acting softly softly around the cat. That Panther is very striking and a pleasure to view.
I think Luna can sense that Mr. Orange is scared, so once she checked him out, and got to know Mr. O through his scent, she just wants to let the little cat get use to everything.
I think you're right. Animals are much more compassionate than most people give them credit. I have a few kitties and when I brought the last one home my older male went into the bathroom to comfort him because he was scared. I thought he was going to pee in his litter box or eat his food just to show him who was the boss since the kitten was male also but he didn't, he went out of his way to make my little one feel comforted and to this day they're the best of friends. You have great insight on animals

Пару раз Луна ушки всё же прижала, по-моему, чтобы в глаза гостю посмотреть. Но Вы её переключили. Так - то для своего вида она просто сама доброта. Даже сложно предположить, сколько времени и труда Вы вкладываете, чтобы леопард был такой милой, а главное, управляемой кошкой.

Im sanften Verhalten von Luna erkennt man den Charakter ihrer Besitzerin der sich in dem großen schönen Tier widerspiegelt und das Vertrauen welches die faszinierende Panter lady ihrer menschlichen Mutter entgegenbringt ist faszinierend 💞 auch ist die rote Main Coon nicht nervös . Anscheinend sind beide neugierig aufeinander und versuchen sich kennenzulernen 🐈💕🐱 . .

He's not huge for a Maine Coon. They get up to 35lbs. I have a 23lb Norwegian which are similar. My boy's the same size maybe a little bigger than Red.

Yup. I only realised partway through the video that this is a Maine Coon. They're huge cats, yet still looks so small compared to Luna. Of course, this size difference is why Luna is not worried about the cat, but the cat is very worried/defensive towards Luna. Same reason why Luna is defensive towards visitors in one of the other videos - they're much bigger than she is.

Hope so too. A large wild cat and a lion aren't exactly what I'd call pets or domestic 🤔😕😐😅. She's got her hands full whatever her name might be. I don't know but I hope she doesn't get jealous either. Cats are unpredictable 😳 especially big cats 🐈 such as tigers panthers and lions.

That Maine Coon is brave. Besides the hissing, he doesn't show signs of being overly stressed in the encounter with big ol' Luna. He's a pocket lion.
He's a Maine Coone so much larger than regular house cats and he's also a orange kitty. They are bold and courageous, sometimes they don't recognize the danger around them. The woman warns her off "Don't be so bold!". My orange cat is the same, she wants to dominate everyone (other cats and even humans - she hisses and strikes you if you do something she doesn't like). She's sometimes too bold for her own good. I mean I dropped a glass jar which broke in a million little pieces and made a loud noise close to her head as she was following me in the kichen and was close to my legs. She didn't flinch or run or anything. I think that I got more scared than she did. I picked her up and got her out of the kitchen to sweep the floor of all that glass so she won't hurt her paws. Most cats would have run to the hills if anything was dropped near them, but not her. It's sweet as she seems to feel very secure in my proximity, but this is not a cat that would survive as stray.

Orange cats are legit built different. It also helps that Luna is repeatedly signaling that she’s not a threat and the humans are both relaxed and protecting him every time she comes around. He got the feel for the power dynamic in the house very swiftly and understood that so long as he stayed close to the humans, the giant void kitty would not go for him.
That black panther acts more domestic than the domestic cat lol 😅
Its amazing to see how gentle, inteligent and empathetic Luna is in such interactions! She is clearly very well taught and trained! You are a great owner and must be very proud of her :D

I have liked black leopards since I was a child. Amazing animals. Luna is a very well socialized. I think it all depends on how much love a creature receives, when it's young, while being raised. Animals also instinctively feel love, which is also reflected in Luna's behavior. I consider both the caring lady and her lovely husband to be very wonderful people. There should be many people like them on earth. If it were so, then there would be no wars and many other bad things that reasonable and good-natured people do not need. Greetings from Hungary!

This is the biggest mistake people make is applying human emotion to an animal. The smartest animals should be able to understand us better and therefore love us most right? Well than why is it that chimpanzees rip peoples faces off and orcas turn on trainers and kill them? Orcas are probably 100 time more intelligent than cats so what can be expected of a cat ? Remember even dogs that have been domesticated for 100s of years will still see kids as prey and maul them occasionally. Stop applying human emotion to animals, you can love them but keep the shotgun really close by.

Actually it's because Luna is a hybrid of an Amur leopard, which she takes after most. I had the same thought as you and I had to get to the bottom of it, look at Amur leopards and you'll see what soft creatures they are. They have those same sweet eyes. Although I agree that all tame big cats seem to have a gentle, innocent look compared to wild..but the amur leopard is a very docile, fluffy leopard compared to the southern leopards we are used to.

There is no such thing as a domesticated Panther. Tamed, yes, but not domesticated.
Remember that a panther has a bite force of over 1000psi, where as a pitbull only has a bite force of around 240psi. Also, panthers have a powerful strike with their claws.

Over my 70 years living with cats, dogs, birds, turtles, and fish I find each relationship to be unique, not always predictable, and individual in their introductory reactions to each other. Also as life goes on and things change (such as health, the addition or subtraction of other human and animal companions) new and different behaviors can develop.
I just said good bye to my final love. It has been VERY difficult for both of us to have her go to the otherworldly place where she will be reunited with her companions and will meet with all of my beautiful loved ones that I have had over my decades of life.
My health precludes caring for a new companion so I will need to adjust to living with just myself. That has already been difficult.

I lost my loving dod .it's been two yrs and it's still hurt s. 😮😢. Can't get myself to get another animal.. I think about it off and on cuz it gets so lonely. besides they make them so pricey I can't afford one ..

Both have such sweet personalities and you can tell humans are their favorite more than any other creature! Luna was super smart , she clearly understood the distress the cat was feeling and kept her distance and didn't get offended at the hissings. She just seemed disappointed to not have been able to make a new friend.
I think the Gorgeous Panther is also showing the cats owner respect by being quite mellow and acting softly softly around the cat.
That Panther is very striking and a pleasure to view.
I think Luna can sense that Mr. Orange is scared, so once she checked him out, and got to know Mr. O through his scent, she just wants to let the little cat get use to everything.
I think you're right. Animals are much more compassionate than most people give them credit. I have a few kitties and when I brought the last one home my older male went into the bathroom to comfort him because he was scared. I thought he was going to pee in his litter box or eat his food just to show him who was the boss since the kitten was male also but he didn't, he went out of his way to make my little one feel comforted and to this day they're the best of friends. You have great insight on animals

Пару раз Луна ушки всё же прижала, по-моему, чтобы в глаза гостю посмотреть. Но Вы её переключили. Так - то для своего вида она просто сама доброта. Даже сложно предположить, сколько времени и труда Вы вкладываете, чтобы леопард был такой милой, а главное, управляемой кошкой.
да тут главное что бы котик не провоцировал леопарда. выбить такую кису на эмоции чревато последствиями

Чаще всего, какие хозяева, такое и животное. Чудесные комментарии, нежный голосок, добрый смех, приятная музыка - все очень гармонично. Луна - образец красоты, грации и достоинства. Обожаю рыжих котов! А сочетание огненно-рыжего и черного с синеватым отливом в одном кадре также доставляет удовольствие. Спасибо.
