@@taylermuilenburg5029 Keeping animals like this as pets should be banned worldwide. Except in very specific circumstances people just shouldn't be allowed to have them. Rescues are about the only single reason these should be in the hands of private individuals, and even then, they should be living as naturally as is possible.
She seems sweet and they seem to take good care of her but I find it really disturbing that you ate allowed to keep a wild cat as a pet where they live. What if bad, lazy or ignorant people take one as a pet, that could become really dangerous and then a home isn't really the best environment for a wild cat.
@@teijaflink2226 Oh this is a very specific situation here. Luna's mother rejected her as a cub and wouldn't feed her milk. The woman in the vids actually was just a voluntary at first that was just supposed to help feed her and raise her. The feline became quite attached to the dog and the people inside the house, and vice versa, so they bought her from the zoo she was born at.
She is the most beautiful big cat I have ever seen. The Black Panther is my favorite! 🙂

I just enjoy the fact that, no matter how big the cat, or how russian the owner, everybody does the same thing when the cat stretches.

Please remember to always respect any kind of animal, even more so one as dangerous and big as this. ALWAYS pay attention to body language. If your pet is clearly distressed don’t try to walk up to them or pet them, just give them space. And with panthers especially, don’t try to cuddle them whenever YOU want. They’re independent creatures, and usually live in the wild. They follow their own rules, which you have to adapt to because if you don’t then…you know what will happen.
I'm always amazed at how Luna acts and behaves just like a house cat. We have a small black cat who thinks she is a panther 😂. My mom and I watch every video for two years and never understood why her mother rejected her but now she couldn't be loved and cared for better. Thank you for sharing with us all over the world!

Yeah, it's a pretty sad habit that cats have. Even if they are living with humans and raising the kitten would be no problem. It's very common in nature. Cats typically abandon offspring if they are the only one in a pregnancy. It's assumed the kitten won't survive without siblings so the mother just gives up on it. But that's where people can step in.
Of course, Humans most often only have one offspring per pregnancy anyway, so they try to make sure it has everything.

The difference- cats haven't been inbred/bred for behavior/traits etc and there is almost no difference except size etc between Luna and a domestic cat.

It's terrified when she is snarling n hissing. The panting despite just being in an apartment not exercising shows extreme stress and it's begging the humans for protection. Ridiculous set up and a tragedy waiting to happen.. I hope to God it has an outdoor enclosure ffs.

I see from your name @ToxicVaccines ToxicFlouride (etc) you're a pretty switched on person, i have to ask why you are encouraging these individuals for keeping a big cat like this in their flat? We all know its not right, or fair for an animal who normally has a large territory to be kept in these conditions, it should be given to a sanctuary for a breeding programme where it will have a large and safe outside area to roam and be looked after by experienced keepers. This is wrong, and horrible. Its too late for it to be rehabilitated for a natural life, but for gods sake get it away from these people who only want a prop for their ego. Its a disgrace, and its really really sad to see. This is as bad as a circus. Stop giving them encouragement and stand up for what you know is right
Luna was going to mark it to reclaim it from another female. Panthers are territorial and female Panthers are the most aggressive territorially. She did not like a new female in "HER" territory and wanted to erase her scent from her space. The new male she was letting him know it is her house but was not actually upset he was there and went into flirt mode. I take that back she went full on "Hey big boy" mode lol.

It is clear. Another female scent means a threat. She does not want her Vovo to be taken. But Luna is very good. She is just afraid not mean. And she observes her buddy Venza who is friendly and happy. So there is no sign of threat. 😊

I don't think is the kind of Leopard to do tricks...and she is better that way. And they do get to go out into the forest...for a big cat that is probably a real treat to go and run free like she does with her posse.

It’s good to see the Rottie was not touched. It still has its tail and ears. I’ve had two Rotties down through the years and I miss them.
The affectionate glances and gentle blinks she shares with those she knows well reveal her sweet and loving nature. My dearest cat expresses the same endearing gestures. 😻💕

@@jamesgastovski3184 This is defensive behavior, not aggressive at all. She stayed hunkered down in the hallway at the beginning and only growled or hissed when someone crowded her- but even then, she did it quietly, without any other agitated body language. She was more polite than most house cats.

At least Luna stands her ground and reacts to houseguests! Our housecats all race and hide indefinitely whenever someone visits or even rings our doorbell! We can't even locate them! These cats have been pampered and loved and fed and played with since day one as little kittens yet somehow, they are all convinced we bring strangers into our home to torture and pillage them! I guess it's really more typical of cats. There are 5 cats in my family, and they all dislike someone else visiting our home. It's true they run away even when they hear doorbell ringing. No one is seen till guests leave. Though the oldest of them, Tyoma, who's already 22 is somewhat inquisitive so he may come out from his hiding place and interact with humans a little or just lie asleep with the company. 😻

The cat is thinking what am I doing here. This is all wrong. I don’t want any attention. I just want to be left alone..
In this case though, Luna couldn't survive on her own in the wild. She was rejected by her mother and hadn't had the proper nutrition from receiving a mother's milk. She was on the brink of passing away and there wasn't a queue of zoos or conservation projects wanting to take that risk on - but the lady who runs this channel - who had previous experience of raising large cats - took her on and hand raised her. Luna has a very large enclosure outside - they live rurally. The size of a horse's field for perspective and is carefully taught to take food in a way that reduces her impulses and allows her to have a life in captivity. Because of how remote they are and the land they own they're also able to let Luna run in the woods, in a controlled situation, so she can exercise her instincts. It's not possible to say that there's zero danger - that's why they've worked so hard on understanding Luna and shaping her through neuroplasticity so she's allowed to live safely. Without the set up we see on this channel Luna wouldn't be alive.

I live in NB Canada..and I've seen 4 Black Panters..in the wild..I think they are black Cougars here..they are very impressive..extremely rare..to the point where many don't think they exist..but they do..saw lots of sign in the winter..big paw..no claws..and tail hits the snow..if its deep and powdery..I've never seen a regular colored Cougar..
I don't think the goverment wants to "admit" they're here..because then they couldn't clearcut the woods..because it would be "protected habitat for endangered animal"..
They make a law..only to ignore it..pitiful.
