One thing I noticed when removing the wiper arms is that there is a little metal key that fits the keyway on the arm and the shaft. Mine fell out when I removed arm so be sure to put that back. I used a little bearing grease to hold it in place while putting the arm back on the shaft.
Hey Maxx, Thanks for the video. I needed a how to video because my goto tool is a hammer. I am repainting all the black plastic on my 15 F150. although I did get a little motion sickness watching.
Great video on the 150. I would like to see how the cowling on a 2018 superduty diesel comes apart. If you have done please let me know. Looking to remove mine.
If you want to increase your channel popularity, get a person to do the video so it's not so bumpy. Way too hard to do a good video AND the work by yourself. Otherwise, thank you. Good content!
Have you ever seen the rubber seal against the window break apart during removal? I have a windshield shop destroy mine, and they said, "It was dry rotted," on a 5 year old truck! 😡
@@jeremyschlegel I understand that but it can still be there when it's new it's real pliable after a year or two it can disintegrate. I've seen trucks in Arizona start to have bad cowls less than two years old. Worse than ford's are Chrysler 300 and chargers they can be bad after 1 year of sun exposure. On your truck they should have warned you that when taking apart it could be damaged. That part is on them but I'm willing to bet that it was sun damaged to begin with. I deal with this everyday when I'm out installing windshields
No I'm not nervous, I have over 33 years as an Master autoglass tech . But thank you for the feedback if I was nervous it was because I was sucking at keeping the camera focused lol
@@seanmclaughlin7415 the only thing I can think of is roof where it's seamed together the seam sealer can crack and water can get through and leak from that but that would be the only thing that I could think of

Great video! Would this be the same way on a 2017 Ford F-150? Thank you in advance.
Thanks. I needed to remove mine to fix sun damage
This was great! Just what I needed for my f150.
Can you help me do this on my wife’s 2016 town and country van?

How about remove the plastic on top of the bumper on a 2018 Ford F150?

I have a 2017 Ford F-150 and have water dripping on the drivers side floor over the brake pedal and behind on the floor. Any ideas?
It’s not the AC drain because it does it when I wash the car, only drivers side.
@@seanmclaughlin7415 did you get the windshield replaced
@@MaxxedoutRodz No. original.
