I needed a pedestal to set a deck fountain on. This will work perfectly with a base added to the bottom for stability. Thanks.

This is such perfect timing! I'm a DIY bride and have been looking for a tutorial on the rectangular pedestals! All of the other videos have been for cylindrical ones. It looks pretty simple. Thank you so much!

One of my clients wants white pedestals and the next week another wants it to be pink.. would you recommend spray painting over the white paint, or using paint everytime?

    • @melissadenbo2461

no, go to ebay or google Vinyl wrap, you can get the wrap in any color and texture. I wrap mine in high gloss white. You can easily remove the wrap and put another color at any time. Much more beautiful and high end than paint and allows you to change from white black gray, etc at any time. Just make sure your surface is smooth and you can present a beautiful pedestal.

@@melissadenbo2461 okay, I am only finding short sheets of vinyl and I am not sure how I'd apply them.. do you happen to have a link on hand?

@@tkayy14 look for a us supplier you can get it in a 12 foot roll for around 30 enough to wrap two or three pedestals. 3m is a brand but there are many different brands on the market

Saftey tip, do not put your hands on the other side of the piece you are nailing with the gun. If you miss, you just nailed yourself to your handiwork.
    Otherwise nice job.

Great tutorial however the music is louder than your voice over and it’s hard to hear what you are saying.
