Awesome, thanks I appreciate it!
I would like to know what is the material call that you use to cover the cylinder?
Hi, polywall from Home Depot
what did you use for the polywall to stay in shape? glue nails? or what, because i try to make one using adhesive but it takes for Ever to dry
Etsy!! Boom 💥 I’m there
Awesome, thanks!
I'm on my way to the etsy store now
Awesome, thank you so much for supporting our channel and Etsy store.
what material did you use for the cylinder cover?😊
Hey man love your videos and plans , my wife has made me to multiple of your decorations and your plans are very simple and easy to understand I just have a simple question do you prefer doing these circle platforms in 3/4 plywood or 1/2 ?
Hi, thank you so much for the support! I do try to stick to 1/2 inch for most of the things I build or thinner. Just because when I start using 3/4 inch, the weight does start to add up. I remember when I first started I built backdrops out of 3/4 inch and man I learned quick because I had to setup. lol So if I can get away with 1/2 inch I would stick to it. But there may be situations where 3/4 is required, I think for these pedestals 1/2 inch gets the job done. Hope that helps!
Yes it does that’s exactly what we were thinking , weight is going to become a factor after all the things she’s having me to from your plans lol but appreciate the respond keep doing what you do 👍
❤loved it when are you going to be selling the actual furniture?
Hi, thank you. I am not sure. I am in the process of setting everything up right now. But I will start with smaller products first and increase in size because I still need to figure out the best way to ship everything. Thank you very much for the support!
could you do plans for a candy cart. I would definitely buy! thank you for not gatekeeping
Hi, thanks for watching. I am working on some candy cart plans now and hopefully have it by this weekend! Thank you for the support
@@MakerDecor Im so excited to purchase!!!! I’ve been looking for plans all over the internet and no luck so far. Thanks for doing what you do 🙏
@@elizabethprado8097 Thank you, I appreciate the comment!
What do you used for the outer shell ? What’s that plastic called ?
White size plywood for the top
I just bought the plans! thank you I just had a question I love the size of the diameter of the big one but if I wanted it taller can I just make the legs taller? sorry im so new at this!!!
Hi, yes for sure. Just lengthen the legs and adjust the height of the polywall that wraps around and you should be good!
What’s a good wood to use for a marquee 5ft letters?
Hi, thanks for watching. For making marquee letters there are two woods used most often. Plywood or MDF, I have been using MDF most of the time due to cost. With recent events plywood pricing went crazy high, more than double the original cost. So, I used MDF which is good, smooth finish and takes paint well after primer. But can be heavier and absorbs moister more than plywood. I have recently went back to plywood as the pricing has gone done some. Plywood is lighter and creates a more rigid structure. I am planning a video soon to talk about in more detail about marquee builds and the different techniques. Thank you for your question.
It’s more of an a frame flower box sign?
They make dollar store rulers like that stick as well
Hi, thanks for watching and the info!
@@MakerDecor you're very welcome. Is there a way I can email you regarding a build that's been stuck in my head? Maybe it could make it to your channel one day 🤷🏽♀️
@@thelovelydrkeyx3250 Yes sounds good, here is my email diyrentalbuilds@gmail.com Thanks
love seeing your tutorial. Did you use paper to wrap it around? If so could you specify which kind? I didn't see in description. Thanks!
Hi, no it is polywall from Home Depot. Like a thin plastic.
Great video! Love the way you explain. Have you ever painted the polywall panels? If so what did you use? I need to paint one for a client!
Hi thanks for watching. I have used spray paint, a spray gun and I have also used a roller. The roller worked better than expected. Just make sure you use the smaller, smooth roller.
@@MakerDecor Thanks for your reply! So I don’t need to sand it a little to get the paint to stick? I’ve read that since it’s plastic paint can be harder to adhere. Do you use a specific paint?
@@mlevenstone3 Sanding does help adhere to plastic. However, I did not and it adhered well. I used interior / exterior hi-gloss white.
Hi I love your channel and ur teaching methods omg finally!!! Someone who can explain what is the name of your Etsy store can you pls provide a link here for it
www.etsy.com/shop/DIYrentalbuilds
Thanks so much for watching. The name of the Etsy store is the same as the RUclips channel, for now. Its diyrentalbuilds, I provided the link above and also in the description. Thanks for your comment.
What is the name of the plastic you use to make the cilinders
Yes I also want to know
what kind of plastic was that you used to wrap around the pedestals
Hi, polywall from Home Depot
What is the material called that you wrap around the frame?
polywall from Home Depot
What is the wrap called?
Hi thanks for watching. I do have the plans available on the etsy store with more information. To wrap the plinth I used a plastic you can find at Home Depot in the plywood section. Its only sold in 8ft x 4ft sheets. But you can use other options as well. Most people I see use very thin plywood and a nail gun or thin sheet metal using sheers to cut. This was just the way I did it. Thanks so much!
Do you have a spanish version because my husband speaks spanish and i am bad at translator.?
Hi, thanks for watching. I am sorry at the moment I do not. I get that question quite a few times, So I may have to look into it. But I am bad at translating Spanish as well, sorry.
Hey brother, I have a question. What if you want to paint them..let’s say..pink? Can they be spray painted with a color other than white?
Hi, yes. with high quality spray paint it should be no problem. What actually works great is a small smooth roller and paint as there is less chance of the paint dripping compared to a spray can. Good luck.
Hi!
What’s the link or name of the router you have?
Hi, its the Bosch plunge router.
Hi I really love this can you do for sell? I’m in NC Wilmington
Hi thanks for watching. At the moment I am not selling plinths, only the plans for them. Thank you for commenting.
Do you have a spanish version?

Nice
What is the white thing you use to wrap?
Nice
Hi, thank you. Polywall
In total how much does it cost to build these?
What type of plastic
Polywall from Home Depot
What kind of plastic you used to wrap it with
Hi, it is polywall from Home Depot
I would like to know where I buy the material to cover the bases. White
HI thanks for watching. The place I get it is at Home Depot.
Hi, do you know the name of the polywall in Spanish? I am making my own cilinders and dont know how I can find the material here in El Salvador.
Hi, I do not know the name but here is some of the description of it.
The 1/16 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. Plastic-Panel. This Panel is resistant to rot for durability. This Panel is great for commercial bathroom applications. Plastic material, White color, Resists rot and moisture.
These plastics are mainly used in commercial restrooms or laundry rooms where there will be increased amount of moisture or chances of splashing on the walls. These plastics are glued to the wall to protect from any water source, mostly commercial applications. I would go to your local hardware store and search for thin plastic wall protector for moisture or water. They are usually thin as they are meant to be glued on, not nailed. That makes them very easy to bend and usually very cheap compared to other alternatives. Good luck
Hi what's the name of your Etsy page
www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor
What are you using for the polywall to adhere to the wood?
Hi, thanks for watching. They are attached at the back of the plinth with nails or screws. Here is the link to the plans.

@@MakerDecor where do you buy polywall? I want to buy your plans just want to make sure I can hey all supplies
Do you have a video on how you put the Polly wall on
@@juanitamartinez531 Hi thanks for watching. The polywall can be bought at Home Depot or Lowes. It is at most hardware stores. The cheapest and thinnest one is at Home Depot and that is the one I used. It is easy to wrap. Just tack one side and wrap it around the plinth enough to cover it and screw it closed. You can also get it at Lowes for a little more money and it is a little thicker but can work. If you have any other questions please let me know, thank you.
nice whats the name of that plastic you use to cover it
Hi, thanks for watching. Polywal
where can get those plans?

It looks so nice!
I just want to know what kind of plywood did you use to coat it and the size?
Hi thanks for watching. I did not use wood I used a plastic from Home Depot polywall and the sizes are all different. Thank you and the plans are available in the links in the description at our Etsy store.
What type of plastic is that?
Hi, polywall from Home Depot
I just purchase it. what the name of the white backing?
Hi thanks for watching and purchasing the plans. The plastic has a couple of names depending on where you purchase it at. The one that carries it the most is Home Depot and you can find it in the plywood section. Its only sold in 8ft x 4ft sheets. Its a polywall meant for walls not to get wet. Lowe's sells a thicker polywall that will work but cost more. I am not sure what Lowes calls it. I have a picture on the plans of the product barcode/ number to help, if you choose to find it at Home Depot. If you have any questions please let me know, thank you so much.
