2014 - 2018 Subaru Forester Door Light Replacement

In this video, I'll show you quickly how to replace the door light on your 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018 Forester. This information is probably relevant to other years, as well as most likely the Crosstrek, Impreza, BRZ, WRX, and Outback!
The LED version of these door lights is a major upgrade you can make to any car in my opinion. They help with visibility, as well as look better overall!

Thanks for this great video! Any tips for if I don't want those lights to engage? I'd like to leave the front doors open for awhile sometimes and not have the bulbs burning up or any battery drain (like for camping). Could I just take the bulbs out or would the car still be sending an electric current? Thanks in advance!

Great question! I dont actually know off the top of my head, but I would assume that having the bulbs out is the best option. Yes technically current will still be going but wont be powering anything. In my experience, the lights will just automatically go out without killing the battery.
