    I just got a 2023 Forester Sport a few weeks ago, so I am really glad to have found your channel! I look forward to seeing what you do with yours and showing the world what the forester is capable of! Great work on the vid!

      @mike great. I'm badly looking for forester sport or touring but not finding any in Mississauga or around GTA.
      Can you please help me which dealer you got and what's the wait period. Thanks in advance 😊

    Thanks Marc. I'll buy the fuse box change bin. That's a no brainer if you own one of these. The rubber dash mat looks like a good idea also.

    Bunker Indust has some recovery boards that would fit in your cargo basket. The reviews are pretty good and they are only about $80.

      Floor mats do the same job.

    I would give anything to find one of those dashboard mats for my 2016 forester. No one makes one for some strange reason. so frustrating. Same goes for that organizer tray for the center console

    Thanks for sharing these products :)
    I have an 04 forester, my recovery boards were on the outside of my roof rack held to the side with brackets similar to those. It worked but I ended up fitting them inside the rack for better wind resistance since I don’t use the rack all the time

    Quick note, please mix the audio of your videos so that they're level between clips and are -14LUFS overall. It makes a huge difference in the perception of quality of the video.

      Thanks for the tip. I’ve been fine tuning my audio settings and will hopefully get better and better

    Word of warning. If you put your phone above the radio, be aware that if you have the cable laying in front of the radio screen, the electrical field generated by the cable can act like human touch on the screen. Subaru has a bulletin out abut this.

    Just picked up a 2023 Forester Wilderness. Love the roof basket on your Forester. What’s the brand and model?

    I just ordered the dashboard mat to rest my phone on while it’s in Apple CarPlay mode. I have come to the conclusion that Subaru does not want you to mount a phone anywhere on the dashboard or vents for driver safety. There is no comfortable place to mount a phone, even with a form fitting ProClip mount ($80, ouch). CarPlay works great, so I’m happy having the phone lie flat and I’ll use some clips to run the wire along the side.

      That's a good choice on Subaru's part. I'm sick of seeing all these people on their phone driving. People need to learn to put it down! I always plug my phone in and just use android auto with no issues

    Putting stuff in your roof rack costs miles per gallon. If you are driving commute to work you should take everything out and only store stuff when overlanding

    • @MarcsMotors
      @MarcsMotors  Год назад +1

      Yes absolutely. Even just having the roof rack costs me about 3-4 miles per gallon so I always keep it empty when not needed. thanks for stopping by!

    The fuse cover only fits LHD cars.
    Beware if buying one for Australian & UK models.

    wow. and backwards, wow. do you actually put things in the fuse coin tray and do they rattle/make noise? the only issue w/adding additional storage things is more junk tends to get placed in those locations and forgotten. for the shelf in front of the triple guage, I cut out foam shelf liner to fit and that's where I put my sunglasses. just get a foam holder....

    • @MarcsMotors
      @MarcsMotors  Год назад +2

      I keep 1 or 2 things in there but no coins in the fuse tray, nothing that rattles and I like having this small tray as the center console is better for larger items.

    You’re in a Subaru. You won’t get stuck unless you ask for it. Ditch the traction boards IMO.
