I just replaced mine with h11 sylvania fog vision yellow lights, that seems to be great so far, the only issue I had was it felt like the replcement bulbs wouldn’t twist back all the way like the originals did. They seem to be solid but we will see

I had the same experience, and theyve held up great! Just check on them after a week or so and if theyre still good, you should be in the clear!

Fantastic job showing the connector and how it turns counter-clockwise. All steps of the process are clearly described. Thank you!

H11 and H16 will fit in the same place. And the filament is in the same place.
There's a difference in power/colour temperature when comparing stock halogen to stock halogen, but the bases are the same.

Thanks for the video! Both of mine just went out. How did those replacements work out for you? Are they much brighter?

They worked out really well, I think they're brighter! They're still running strong also, haven't needed to replace them

@@Explorer-pj1nx in manual it said to install h16 bulb with 19 watts , I see you installed h11 bulb ( I have forester 2017 premium) so wanted to check if h11 causes any issues

I would follow what the manual says, but since publishing this video I haven't had any problems whatsoever

@@RohanPatil88 H16 are 19 watts, H 8 are 32 watt and H 11 are 55 watt, so a H11 in a halogen gets very hot and will melt the fog lens and bulb connector. H8 have to be lightly modified to fit a H16 install, I have done this and the H8 run a little hotter a little brighter but so far so good with OEM fog housings, the fog lens is plastic not glass. If you use a H11 LED bulb than yes this fits no issues cause LED do not omit much heat.
