    Five thoughts/questions/ideas: I really enjoy looking at smaller town feeling builds with landscaping (you can’t go wrong with either a city spread or small town vibes). Will there still be an airport, maybe regional or municipal? Will there be a second platform for the train station (in front of the police station) for the second track? With your new vehicle lighting system, it would look cool if there was traffic stop with a police car (with the lights on) pulling over a car because one of its break lights were out. Finally, I live in a mountainous town and would be awesome if you put one to a few houses nestled in the landscaping (trees and/or hills). I miss your old city spread and look forward to the potential this build direction has shown and is heading. God Bless!

    The city looks really great. I think a tunnel is always needed in any train layout and it doesn't need to be made out of lego every time either case and point is with the train tunnel I have made for my city which is made from wood. My dad and I enjoy doing little wood projects if we get the time to wnd the train tunnel for my city was one of the first ones we did. I love how the tunnel is starting. It looks a lot better than my grocery store roof, which I finally finished today that was like a Lego puzzle for me. The video on it will be 2 parts very soon. Exterior in one video and interior in another interior is about 90% done right now.

    The citys looking really good!
    I have a couple questions regarding the hobby lights that you sell on your website. Are the 8mm connectors the same ones that Brickstuff uses in their lights? I'm not as familiar with how compatible the different systems are as you are so I thought I'd ask. I may use your lights in the future in conjunction with other systems to help support your channel.

    • @BevinsBricks
      @BevinsBricks  Год назад

      Hey buddy, hope your doing well. As for the plug styles. A few companies use 1.25mm plugs which are large and most other companies use .8mm which is why I switched, plus they are so much easier to hide. Brick Stuff is the odd ball company though. I believe all his plugs are 1mm jst. Not sure why they went against the grain of all other companies. I've never purchased any of there products as I always felt they were very over priced. But from what I have heard from others his quality is good. I sell adapters to go from 1.25 to .8mm and I think brickstuff also sells adapters that go from .8mm to 1mm .
      Hope that helps, I keep meaning to make a video to explain all the differences and the pros and cons of them all and also a list of who is compatible with who. But I need to buy some of every product to do it 😀 If you sent me a image of his plugs on my email I should be able to confirm the size.

      The connectors were back in stock as of yesterday :). Yes they are very popular. Slowly learning what I need to focus on stocking as I continually add new products.
      You know it's funny, a lot of places sell lights in 3 and 4 packs and what kills me is you would think they would be cheaper that way. But they are still more expensive than what I offer. I'm hoping over the new few months to have a better stock of parts so I don't run out of things so fast. So maybe that would be an option to stay original to your 9v layout but enhance it with different radius to make some curves more smooth or realistic. - just an idea, maybe you are already aware and have rejected the idea for the reasons stated in the video.

      Lol, it's a great way to keep everything modular. I'm working on a second method for brick built roads also.

    hello, excuse me, why do you insist on making circle train tracks that are unwatchable and meaningless? You have the space and you could make a nice dog bone layout and with the lego power up system (the net is full of tutorials) you could make one or two two-track stations with two trains that stop and start again continuously. If you want to do something really cool on one side of the bone you could make a station hidden in a multi-track tunnel where to park paused trains, in the center of the bone the main station with two tracks and on the other side of the bone a minor single-track station. it's just an idea... 😀

      Trying to build with only what I own for a change and power functions isn't 9v track compatible that I'm aware of.

    Great update! quick question, what plate were you using for topping the mils plate of the mountain? it looked a lot bigger than a 32x32, and looks like it works really well. Thankd

    Hey man. I just thought of an idea for you! Perhaps I should email you the idea so that way if you like it, you can work on it as a product to then offer us?
