I recently took delivery of the solid frame version with color case finish and traditional oiled walnut stock. It’s an extremely compact and well balanced gun with an even smoother action then my other model 92 Chiappas
In the USA, the Wildlands line can be had starting at about $1.200 on some of the online auction sites
Chiappa quality is excellent, I had been looking for the 92 for years, hard to find ... I did find something similar ....the Rossi r92 tripple black 16 barrel 38/357. ...... Looking forward to this year's deer hunt. ......I also purchased a chiappa little badger and it very accurate . Thank-you for the video!
Good luck on the hunt
What a cool gun, I like it.
Indeed, for hunting I'd go for the 44 Mag version, as it offers a lot more grunt, certainly in the 16.5" barrel version.
Thanks for the review, I presume the longer magazine version doesn't have the space to include a moderator?
Got one...shoots accurate...nice gun, good quality. But... don´t say sjiappa but kiappa like de tasty Italian wine Chianti.
Is this discontinued? 357 for this gun doesn’t show up on their site
Do you know what the thread size on the barrel is?
What scope is it? Need long eye relief. Can 3x scope works?
I'd run .357 through a chrono out of that 16" barrel, I know .44 mag gains a great deal of ft lbs of energy in rifle form over pistol (ammo box velocity and energy for pistol cartridges like .357 are usually given for 6" barrels if I remember right). I'd think hitting over 1000 ft lbs wouldn't be too hard with the right ammo in .357 and that length barrel.
Nice to have a takedown if you ride a motorbike.
As an ex-biker (too old now) I agree
i know someone who has just bought a similar gun in 30-30 for muntjac with a holographic sight on top
Keep the ranges short and it's good medicine for Munties, as 30-30 may be an old timer, but it's a sweet little calibre
Locking pillars in UK = Locking lugs in USA.
Would like one in either the .357 or .44 mag but in the stainless version.
It’s actually a Cerakote finish.
Lovely piece does it come in .22LR
Sadly no, but Chiappa do make a 22 L/A gun, which is not the quality of their centrefire 1886 and 1892 models, tested one, did not like it!
How much do they run I saw online they are like 1,600 I want one but if they’re that much that’s to much for me
I've got just shy of £1400, that's a lot of money for a low capacity 357 lever-gun I would agree...
Just bought one at Canadian Tire today for $1640
👍👌
Thanks Pete , A fox wouldn't know what hit it with a .357 Mag . Thanks for the video , Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well .
Yep, 357 Mag in a longer barrel like a 16" gets a lot more out of it than a revolver
@@GunMartTV Thanks for the reply , will it work with .38 special ?
