Here's a simple variation: I freeze the fruit first and then blend everything using vanilla almond milk. I've tried other Almond milk brands, but prefer Blue Diamond- Almond Breeze. Great with a toasted blueberry bagel. Warning: If you own a Nutribullet blender, it can handle the load, but a stronger blender is recommended. I eventually broke the extractor blade lid on the NutriBullet and had to replace it due repeated blending of frozen stuff. I now run a Vitamix 6300 and it is a beast! Pricey, but worth it.
I use the same fruits but I buy a bag of frozen 4 berry which has blueberries (not enough so I get an extra bag of blueberries) strawberries, blackberries and raspberry. The Blueberry and strawberries are the top of the totem pole for superfood berries. I add one cup of raw spinach in every smoothie (you can’t taste it…it’s like it’s not there) and kerfir vs plain yogurt…kerfir is actually more healthy. A bit of vanilla flavour protein powder (half of the recommended amount for a protein shake) and a table spoon of real raw honey. The banana alone isn’t sweet enough and the berries can make it tart. Oh, almost forgot…if you want to superpower the smoothie add about 10 nuts, 5 each of chopped walnuts and almonds or a teaspoon of ground chia seeds. I grind them in my coffee grinder. The smoothie still tastes vanilla fruity delicious. This is a real superpower healthy smoothie and should keep you going for awhile.
at school we use frozen strawberries, bananas, blueberries or pineapples made for making a smoothie, we add the fruit we choose, we add a bit of milk, and we add 3-4 scoops of strawberry ice cream. to top it off it is optional to add coconut powder as well which i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to put in! then we blend away like you said. and serve :)
looks good , but try this , freeze the banana and berries , ok now put berries in blender add one frozen banana then add one cup of water and blend, you will see it will come out like a slurpee except super healthy.. try it this way, plus you wont need yogurt.....
i noticed that the smoothie consistency was really watery. You can put your smoothie mixture into the freezer for about 20-30 minutes in order to get a better consistency. try it out!

You get your favorite juice or some liquid. you make sure that their is less liquid than the fruits and that's it! you can add whatever fruits you want. you can add sherberts too! :)
I just bought a blender and it didn't blend this smoothly. The stuff at the bottom did but my fruit and stuff just sat at the top. I had to take the thing off and shake it around just to get it done. I had milk & fruit in there. Should i add more milk or water to get it to blend or did i get a crappy blender? it's a cuisinart blender

Plain yogurt is key since many yogurts are loaded with sugar. You probably get enough sugar from the fruits with this so it's a perfect blend.

I put ice in the blender with whole milk.
i put the ice in after it's very yummy just crush up the ice and add coffee perfect for a morning run
im sure you could just make the fruit be frozen fruit as an ice substitute

The consistency won't be like a smoothie at all. And taste is subjective.

You're supposed to either freeze the fruit (should take at about 6 hours to freeze) or add ice into that mix. (about 6 cubes per serving.)
