Derek Dudes erm, no it factually is not. Chris Reeve himself thought this was an uneven mess and His perspective is more objective than yours or anybody’s. But again, you can like the film all you want. Sort of like ‘The Room’. People love that movie but they would also acknowledge that the film is terrible in terms of the craft. 🤷♂️
This movie was filmed in my hometown of Calgary, Canada. During the scene where a car crashes into a fire hydrant and starts to fill with water, some bystanders didn't realize it was staged and came to the "rescue" of the car.

The red and green man having a fist fight in the traffic lights when the computer hacks go crazy had me in stitches as a kid, plus the atm spitting out money while the guy giggles deleriously.
I love how he's talking about the men's room and that lady looks at him like it's not the first time someone implied she's familiar with the men's room. After seeing that ski bit Pryor would've been great in Police Academy.

In Superman we had Lex Luthor, in Superman II we had General Zod, in this we have these buffoons. Was Brainiac or Darkseid not available. Toyman and Mr Mxyzptlk are silly villains but at least they came from the comics.

Richard Pryor is funny, the writing is NOT funny. Richard tried his best but he didn't write the movie and he certainly didn't direct it.
