    Christopher Reeves is by far, my favourite version of Clark Kent. His dorkiness and mild-mannered politeness even in face of an emergency is just awesome.

    • @mazy-beats
      @mazy-beats Месяц назад +3

      Originally, Superman 1 and 2 were supposed to be released as one movie. In the original script, the two stories were written as one cohesive narrative. That’s why the backstory of the villains from Part 2 is already introduced in Part 1. However, the producers feared the movie would be too long and flop at the box office. So, they split it into two two-hour movies instead of one long one. It’s a shame they lacked the courage. While the two films are still very good individually, told as one story, it could have been an even more spectacular movie.

    The Donner Version that puts this scene at the start of the film and at The Daily Planet with Lois jumping out the window with Clark saving her is the better scene and set-up to what happens when Clark is revealed as Superman (the gun scene in Lois' Hotel Suite) as it ties into the first movie much more seamlessly and it plays better.

      Amber would not do that

      @@spystar18 this is just how Lois Lane is. This is how she was characterized by her creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. If you don’t like this then you basically don’t like Lois Lane. Which is fine but criticizing a character for acting how they're supposed to act in a story and comparing them to even worse characters is stupid af, like people who did it during the time it was done in MAWS.
