- Every Unique Starman Arrangement from the Super Mario Series. I've looked through every comment from the last version and did some more research of my own, so hopefully this should be a comprehensive list (though I probably will have a few). Thank you to everybody who commented missing ones on the last one, this video couldn't have been done without you!
TO CLARIFY:
- Versions included are solely from video games, spin off material such as the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and the Super Mario Compact Disco are not here.
- Versions are from official releases, known beta content such as from Super Mario Bros. 2 aren't included as it keeps things a little easier to define.
- I know there is a version from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. The tune plays when fighting a certain enemy (don't quite know it well as I have't played it). The tune sounds like more of a sound effect, and because I couldn't source any clean versions it was omitted.

I didn't even think about Sunshine not having any form of the Invincibility theme. That's kinda crazy to think about lol

Well sunshine didn’t really have any temporary power ups, the other nozzles were permanent until you grabbed another so having a song play during them would be redundant.
I know it’s a year late, but if you still care, there is one, though you can only hear it in Pianta Village Episode 8, if you listen to the band music. There are a couple of parts of that music that actually do use a part of the Starman theme.
So Yoshi's island was the first one to add that little background riff, cool!

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was the first mario game (non mainline) to introduce the side-melody.
Feel free to disagree about yoshis island not being mainline and mario 64 being mainline

The first Yoshi's Island is canon and mainline.
SM64 is also canon and mainline
Other Yoshi's games are either spin-off or Yoshi's Games and then "spin-off"

About the BIS starman, it's played by Bowser Memory M during one of his attacks. You are right about it being a sound effect, probably. I don't know how it's handled by the game, so take this part about it with a grain of salt.

To this day, I didn’t know the ‘Journey to Bowser’s Castle’ song from Paper Mario 64 was a Starman remaster. It sounds so much like its own song that I didn’t take notice at all. You learn something new every day.
There's something about the original Super Mario Kart's that is so simple yet catchy.
Amazing video! Reminds me of my star comp but this has a lot of stuff even I missed. I also had trouble finding a rip of Memory M's star attack theme from Bowser's Inside Story, I've even tried using vgmtrans to see if I could extract it from the game directly but it does seem to be considered a sound effect rather than music to the ds as I couldn't find It. Here's hoping we can somehow get a clean rip of it and the remake's version!

This is a great follow-up video. I didn't know that the infamous Mario is Missing had a rather long Star theme, nor did I know about Just Dance 2018. Beautiful!
You even included the snippets heard in songs from Smash 4 and Ultimate and a neat sneak-in of both Mario Land Star themes.

IDK if you did, or plan to do a version 3, but, there is a version of the star man theme in the SMB arcade pinball table made by Gottleib from 91 or 92 I wanna say. it happens in superstar mode.

I grew up with the GBA ports, and the SMA3 variation of Powerful Infant was and still is my favorite Starman remix.

I'm sorry to say.... But I think there is at least one more that was missed...
Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge, which is a game I haven't even thought about in years, has a Star Road which uses a remixed Super Mario World Star Road theme. And unless I am forgetting, is unique to it.

I was going to make a hot take regarding BIS and how, in my mind, all the star man themes are more like sound effects for how short they play… and then Deluxe's star man came on.

If you're still open to requests, do you think you'd be interested in making a mashup of the Chain Chomp Challenge from Mario Power Tennis and Phase 2 of Wario World's Final Boss (Black Jewel)? Recently discovered Japan got an exclusive second phase to the final boss on its release of the game and the song used gets remixed in the Wario's Factory minigame in Mario Power Tennis. Pretty similar tempo but it might be worth looking into for someone of your skill since it's pretty Wario-esque in quality!

Luigi’s Mansion 2 didn’t have a star theme, the remake probably won’t either.
I was expecting a new star theme like usual, but hearing a new version of the metal cap theme was a welcome surprise!
