I am so proud of the Greek and Georgian wine for showing their class amidst the strong competition, especially from the Rieslings which we know Peter and Jay both love! And I love to hear the tentative admiration with which Peter speaks of the kvevri wines. He doesn't want to love, but he does!

I've been a super fan of Assyrtiko and georgian wines for well over a year now, super fun to see that they have now come up on the radar here too (and all the viewers here!). Gaia makes some fantastic assyrtiko too. The acidity is so loveley in these wines! in terms of georgian wine I do prefer, Tsolkouri to Mtsvane.

Very happy to see the assyrtiko winning! I feel that Greek wines are extremely underrepresented worldwide. They are available in Europe, limited selections, but the wealth of variaties and choices that you find in Greece is unbeatable. I hope you guys will dive into greek wines a bit more..Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Monemvasia, Kidonitsa or reds like Agiortgitiko or Xinomavro!

Great video as usual! Loving the content!
Could you please make a video about wines from newly established wineries? Say, wineries that are no more than 5-10 years old? Just to see what kind of quality can be produced a winery that doesn't have 120+ years experience to rely on.
Perhaps also an idea could be to make a video about wineries that nobody has ever heard of, but of which you think great things will come in the next few years! Like "wineries to watch in the next few years".

There is good stuff in British Colombia , just north of the state of Washington, but also great stuff in Ontario , Niagara region, and cool climate region Prince Edward county, which makes great Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Both these regions are on the Great Lakes region. Pete is a real badass and an amazing taster. We have great assyrtiko here for 17$, Tx incl. ( wine here is mostly state run, through saq)

I'd like to see you do a review of popular wine clubs, Firstleaf, Bright Cellars, Winc, Naked Wines, Wine Insiders, etc... We all know not to necessarily expect world class wines, but they are an accessible way for budget conscious consumers to try a wide variety of wine for not a lot of money, often $8-$15 per bottle. It would be interesting to get your take (and Peter's) on value for money in a blind tasting.

Today I got a Chateau Paradis Casseuil 2017 from Emart priced at 55,000 won (it was the last bottle reduced to 33,000 won - but that's still pricey for this wine - tasted great once given a couple of hours to breath).
