These Spurs teams just always seem to have pieces that fit so perfectly and always get guys who buy into a very open and free slowing system, it's amazing how a lotta times those aren't even plays being called it's just a team of players with sky high basketball IQ and unselfishness, in my opinion there ball movement is better than the Warriors who settle for the three and don't penetrate the lane quite as efficient or effective as the spurs (not to take anything away from the Warriors by any means) .... truly beautiful all around basketball, at both ends of the floor at that
@@yunan9610 15-16 Spurs had the bench power to rotate and keep that energy going. If anything, I think Pop was the one to blame because he seemed to want Leonard to develop and grow so he let him run the offense. Now you look back, that was just foolish and stupid considering Leonard didn’t even stay in SA and Pop pretty much helped him gain valuable experience on the expense of Spurs playoff run. That was supposed to be a great year for the Spurs with lots of firepower and a decent bench and they had what it takes to win the championship but Pop got too caught up with his stupid “experiment” and caused them the series.
@@blinkmeever it was iso that costed them, but not just only iso, but the spurs team was just too old, the bench gave them energy but was old, same with the starting lineup
Summary: pass to the open guy, don't stand, move, screen for someone to let them be open. Harden be like: "dang, that's a lot to remember. I only know the 5 D's, dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge and dodge."
Man to this day still wondered how this team didn’t bring home the chip that yr. I mean timmy, manu & tp were way past their primes already but u can’t take away the fact that they were still stacked from top to bottom. I always felt like they were the better & more experienced team than the warriors that yr despite the warriors 73-9 record, & they could’ve given the cavs a problem since the lebron stopper was still on that team. This was utterly a disappointing season for my spurs despite the franchise record for wins, I know they have all the tools at that time to capture on what could’ve been the team’s 6th 🏆 & timmy’s 6th ring as well, until they played selfish basketball vs the thunder in the playoffs & that cost them everything they worked hard for that yr... Sad 🤦♂️😔
Boy oh boy. Those years the Spurs had so many guys with high bball IQ. TD, Manu, TP, Diaw, David West, Now i guess due to so many young guys they’re like meh
I love how a guy like David West plays, I didn't get to see it much when he was on the pacers but once he came to the spurs I really saw how impressive his passing ability is.
+Curtis Brown I know there are a bunch that I didn't get to put on (including the one against Minnesota, and a few other really good ones), but it was hard to get those one here for a few reasons, hopefully the next go around will be better.
Mathew Davidov For sure. With the Warriors, there's just SO much out there that it's hard to narrow down, but I can guarantee I'm closer to being done with that one than any other ball movement video.
1:24 why would James Harden go through Aldridge/Dwight instead of around Dwight? I get the extra second may cost you the mid-range shot but I'd rather close out on a potentially lower percentage shot than go through Aldridge who already took Dwight out of the paint and immediately lose the position battle, tailing the guard who already had an easy/clear lane ahead of him.
I love how they pass, but sometimes they get so consumed by the drawn up play a wide open guy doesn't take the shot because he is supposed to pass. Mostly it doesn't matter because the other team is so confused, but it still is slightly annoying.
+thug8200 I'm working on it. Offense is always easier to do than defense, but Draymond is my absolute favorite defender to watch so you'll see another one on here when it's ready.
basketball being played the right way!
ikr

i swear Diaw has higher IQ than einstein
This is how every team should play. Really makes you appreciate Coach Pop and his team.
a shame they seemed to forget this kind of play during the series against OKC, with LA and Kawhi trying to match KD and Westbrook's iso plays
Exactly
PUGE BUY they barely play like this lately
Its also the matter of saving stamina, this playstyle needs constant moving and will also exhaust you mentally

This is art.
Players and ball do not stop moving. That's the essence of it.
Beautiful simply beautiful!
I miss this.
Beautiful to watch

I could watch this for hours
the last one was great no d can stop that

2016 spurs was just too old, 2017 version was better because kawhi developed a lot to iso situation, and because they got more younger fast guys
That's what I call some very solid plays! ;)
this team was so perfect...

I Love Team basketball
8:13 amazing plays
Thanks for making this great content !!

fundamental no fancy isolation play..other than quick pass and trust on teamates..salute to great pop..
beautiful
i sorta miss boris diaw and his flashy passes as a big. If only he kept shape, he couldve been the draymond green of the spurs
I love these spurs teams. Usually had the worse roster on paper but outplayed you most nights
Danny green has an impressive vertical
boris......diaw......we miss him
9mins clips runs like 1-2mins. Smooth ball movement^_^
Love this video, image share it with others. I'd like to see a Hawks ball movement video. They finished 2nd in assist 3 years in a row.
spurs: the super team buster
Diaw was perfect for Spurs system.
Also know as the beautiful game
I got tired of all these threes... not one missed!
Spurs starts the evolution of the modern basketall. Gap kick swing play
whattaaaa beautiful video man........
great video thanks. West was a good addition. could u o David West jumpshot video please.
0:31 Pope calls a time-out, punches Tony Parker and goes: that was a bullshit possession, STOP taking bad shots!!
But it just disappeared during the last few game against the Thunder. Instead they were isolating with Kawai and LMA. I still don't know why
I love me some horns offense in basketball. Damn
Poetry in motion
Beautiful
that is basketball
8:12 wtf that score
This should've been a championship team.
Out of all the one's you put in the highlight clip, you missed the best one. Still great stuff though.
+Curtis Brown I know there are a bunch that I didn't get to put on (including the one against Minnesota, and a few other really good ones), but it was hard to get those one here for a few reasons, hopefully the next go around will be better.
Evin Gualberto Still did a great job. Wasn't even expecting this video from you so i'm happy.
as slow as the spurs was last season, omg now they got speed that ball movement will be hella crazy moving around, cant wait for that highlight
WOW ! San Antonio SPURS ..
lol that last clip tho they almost had a 5 second ... holy shit tho the ball movement
Could we get a sequel?
No big3 no more ball movement
One of the best Spurs teams not to win a title
Lamarcus Aldridge is so underrated smh
Fantastic
theyve kind of down graded with timmy retiring and kawhi getting injured. same happened with kobe leaving la
My favorite team
Can you make an Andre Roberson defensive video?
Good video !!
unselfish team!
if only the rest of the league knew what that was
Can you do a Cleveland 15/16 playoff ball movement?
+fighter when their playoffs end, sure. I was going to do one of their entire season (playoffs included) anyway.
+Evin Gualberto warriors as well?
Mathew Davidov For sure. With the Warriors, there's just SO much out there that it's hard to narrow down, but I can guarantee I'm closer to being done with that one than any other ball movement video.
+Evin Gualberto as well as the heat
+Jaisal Patel No, heat sucks
This turned into Kawhi highlights lol
Superflous
Now please tell me that DRozan doesnt slow us down
i miss boris and belli
Terry mills lol
very beautifull!
2013-13 Spurs vs 2015-2016 Spurs: Who wins a 7 game series?
2014 spurs wins in 5 or 6
IT WAS 20-0 HOWWWWWWw??????
No, it was Houston 20 San Antonio 16, they made a mistake there
1:24 why would James Harden go through Aldridge/Dwight instead of around Dwight? Basketball made easy.
This is what people call boring wow
Not me
I love how they pass, but sometimes they get so consumed by the drawn up play a wide open guy doesn't take the shot because he is supposed to pass. Mostly it doesn't matter because the other team is so confused, but it still is slightly annoying.
David West please stay in spurs , he play well !!!!!!
And he goes the Warriors. Now that hurts...
Na spurs needed speed
Watch harden lose his man at 5:40
will you make another draymond defensive highlight please
+thug8200 I'm working on it. Offense is always easier to do than defense, but Draymond is my absolute favorite defender to watch so you'll see another one on here when it's ready.
Evin Gualberto ok thanks
+Evin Gualberto Can you please do an Andre Roberson defensive video?
And a James Harden defensive highlight.
20-0?? wtf
Yeah....but the Spurs won that game
Hold up what on earth would be a 16/16
8:13
5:52
03:13 number 17 didnt move he should have cut to the basket...this is why SPURS arent great again...because this guys just want to shoot 3s...
Spurs will never win another ring. Duncan is Irreplaceable.
