Pretty funny! As a native Mandarin and English speaker, it kind of ruins it for me though, hearing her speak Mandarin perfectly (with no accent) throughout the video, knowing that she is probably fluent in real life.
This is an Ad..but it makes me remember my first time as translator for the watch and for the medical field....it was not that worse....but those special terms in that two fields especially in medical were extremely difficult----even I havent heard of the Chinese name of those tearms before not to mention translating....luckily...the factories people spoke English! From that time on, I havent done any translation about medical field any more....
Another great program about Chin's Managing Director, Charles Qin, was produced by China Central Television - CCTV4 and aired in China on TV at the end of June. We have had a lot of great feedback. It seems that this is the only program ever made about an Australian Interpreter. Take a look at tv.cntv.cn/video/C17604/c4e49da982ec4d96ba7703bb54a01443
Hilarious drama lol Reminds me of my interpreting sessions back in the day, when my nervousness used to betray me, but it's better to use our tools (clarification, repetition, etc)
I hope that I will not make these unproper and unprofessional mistakes in my career if I am lucky enough to get an interpreting job! It's important not to be nervous on those formal occasions because as an interpreter, one can face various unexpectancy.
"I'm really excited to have Mr. Chen here today and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on our proposal. I think that this relationship with Take Charge Industries ( 他们公司的名字好像) is really gonna have some legs."
This is hilarious. I am certified Spanish language healthcare interpreter that’s learning Mandarin. I can see myself making mistakes like this as I’m learning. Don’t worry. I have no intention of becoming a Mandarin interpreter.
I'm impressed by the creativity of this. It was very entertaining to watch.
Her pronunciation is too perfect for that level 😂
Can't believe this is a ad.but its funny anyway

+jinnie1108 thanks for the comment - yes she is fluent in two languages.
我为她“优秀”的汉语水平点赞。
Their acting is very good.
Great clip about what happens when we have non professional interpreters.
听上去,那位华裔,中文和英文 都很流利。有专业翻译人员的基本素质。

This was actually really good! 很搞笑的广告!
Brilliant video! As a French interpreter, it hurt to watch!
😂LMAO笑到停不下来哈哈哈哈哈哈~~

这个广告的创意 真的很不错👍 评论区的留言 尤其是华人写的英文评论,更有创意呵. 看来 广告情节内容并非虚构,这样的翻译笑话将来在现实生活中还要继续持续下去的。工作中,双母语,又能够做口语翻译的华人,数量太少了。

Now replaced by chatGPT.😂
This cracked me up
1:34 那老外男的所说的话,细节听不清。能给个transcript吗? 大体我知道,要的就是每个字。

@@heavensent_production it really helps. thx a million.

ooo this is in Melbourne!
ksjoda luou yes that's right.
有点像IT族reynholm 联业公司的意大利语翻译误会,
Oh this girl look like me😿😿 ishould learn mandarin againn😂😂😂😂
great video , the interpreter is cute
i can feel the pain
I noticed that the translation of the video is also wrong 😂
hahaha 笑死我了 非常有意思的一个视频
我咋就看了个广告😂
The interpreter have Zhao Lu Si vibes
Fluency does not guarantee accuracy, especially in business settings. Pay more for a professional rather than having any native speaker try to do it.
我也学习中文。
can you hire me ? I can speak Arabic , Mandarin Chinese , Japanese plus English
Hii! I'm an aspiring interpreter as well brother. can we talk?
Laughed my teeth out
Ouch! 😂😂😂
She speaks so fluently Mandarian that is very strange that she doesn’t understand or can’t translate in English.
The lesson here is not to rely on Google Translate for an accurate translation.
If you’d paid attention you’d know that most of the problems came from her inabilities not google.
haha, this is absurd and so funny
+Hong YC glad you enjoyed!
haha, funny video!
我绝对早就看过那位华人,就想不起来而已
LOL!
Haha that’s not very accurate at all, if she truly was bilingual she would have understood that he was allergic to cheese like duh
Hahahah my Chinese better then she
haha its kinda cute
😂😂😢😢
😂😂😂😂
You call her a bilingual but she's ont even close to being fluent in Mandarin in this video lol.
yes that is the point indeed!
It's a play.
That is the entire point, thanks!
so awkward omg
except chat gpt is much better lol
Hahahahaha !
hhhhhhh呵呵呵呵和哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈笑死啦
huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu
It will be a complete failure in real life.
I want to apply for a job here! I’m an interpreter in China!
Thank you for your interest! Would you mind sending your CV to info@chincommunications.com.au?
