I live that you saved the boot. What a great idea for a potholder! I sure love my cast iron cookware. I saw a video where someone put the lid on the skillet, flipped the egg into the lid, then slid it back into the pan that way. I wonder if it would work for biscuits. Always find value in your videos! 😁💚👊

That's interesting. I'm afraid the biscuit would stick to the lid. I could try just using the skillet to do a fancy flip. 😃 Dottie would be standing by to clean up anything I drop.
