Will be watching in bed tonight You folks have replaced prime time tv for us
Facts! Although to be fair, prime time tv is garbage 💕
Love that! Thank you so much 😊
I do the same thing!😁😁😁
I agree there. I haven’t watched TV in many many years. Love watching my RUclips channels
Way to go, Matt! Yummy!❤🙏 Jane in SC
Matt I have to tell you.... you are a Sweet Man to make your Family biscuits!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Those look good, now if one of the Kids would go to the store and get cream. Thanks Matt. God Bless.😊 Jean
Love this way of baking biscuits…I do this in a nonstick skillet with a class lid.
Eyeballing is the best way 😂❤. I think Tipper taught you well. Making everybody want a wood cook stove They are the best way Dag nabit it now that’s plumb Purdy ❤. I have yet to make chocolate gravy. Will have to The weather here in Uwharrie is frigid too 🥶. Katie is strong willed ❤❤❤. They both gonna make good mamas. Love y’all and good to granny. I love my book Thank you 🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Regular night time viewing for us. Just like visiting my Granny in Pierce City, MO. Except, it snows there. Sorry Tipper.
😎it is so cool to watch Mat cook. I have had to learn since my wife passed and it is fun. Like Tipper says, I do not care what the finished product looks like just that it tastes good. Mat says, “ I do not measure, I just go til I think it is right.’. You are a fun family to share all you share with us. I am wondering if I will live long enough to see the babies turn into little people. Children are such a blessing.
Thank you 😊
No shortening?
Men should cook. I am proud to cook and it's just as important as changing oil in your car. Love your channel and God bless
@@kimm.8014 don't need shortening, cream is fat enough.
@@shmataboro8634 I didn't know that
Yummy jelly and butter biscuits. I've never tried chocolate gravy. Matt has comfortably transitioned into his new job. Working together everyday with the one's he love's. Thank you Tipper, Matt, Katie, and Corie for another wholesome video. Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕
I love Matt's approach to cooking! Just add ingredients until you think it's right. He's been cooking for a long time. The biscuits looked great!
Thank you 😊
That's so cool that you can cook in your grandmother's frying pan, Matt! That's the great thing about the old stuff. It just keeps on working. Thanks, and God bless!
Nice job Matt. You all look so comfy and warm. Have a great weekend. ❤❤
So nice of you to make biscuits for your family Matt. Such a blessed lovely family. 😊❤
You are so kind thank you 😊
Hello Tipper ,Matt, and Katie and Corey, The biscuits looked so good. Tipper i 'd keep Matt, that boy can cook and is purdy handy. Don't get up set but he ain't bad on the eyeballs either.. Love your channel glad your family can be together all the time. The girls are just precious.. I'll bet you are getting anxious for the grand babies to get here. God bless. Stay warm ..Praying for some snow for you. ❤
It's a joy to hear someone say Appalachia the correct way
Matt’s biscuits looked good and oh that jelly! Sorry you didn’t get any snow. Here in East TN we got 0 temps and 8 inches of snow and ice. Monday was a memorable day of snow falling all day long. This is rare for us so we were excited.
Man, I love biscuits! God bless your precious family! 😀❤️
Thank you 😊
Great job, heading for kitchen now. When the doctor asks me why I'm not losing weight showing her your videos.
The biscuits 😋 looked delicious
I d have strawberry 🍓 jam on mine
I enjoy watching Matt cook. 😊
I wish all men were like Matt. He is Superman!!❤️❤️
The biscuits were screaming for sausage gravy. Beautiful!
They sure were! I heard ‘em too!!
It's a wonder to think how many biscuits have been made in that skillet over three generations
Matt, you forgot to add the bonus biscuit! That's the best one! 😅
Thank you for watching 😊
He did! I was looking at his arrangement, and though he could have moved that last one over just a bit, and put in the last bit of dough!
It pleases me to see ya'll cooking on the woodstove, more and more. What may seem like a fun novelty today, could be a lifesaver if you ever lost power for an extended period. This is a great way to keep those skills sharp! And fun, too, because everything cooked on a woodstove is good!
Thank you Roland 😊
I am so impressed that Matt can make bisquits by eye balling them and by hand.
That’s what we call true talent!!
Thank you Pressley family…….🇺🇸
Love to see Matt cook!! Gotta do it more!!! 💕🙏🏻
Thanks for letting me join your family again while I'm eating my dinner. Such a nice part of my day, balancing my life out with your wonderful life. You guys continue in my daily prayers. God Bless 😇
Matt and his girl's, I have two girl's also. I can't express how blessed I and grateful I am. 🙏
Great video Matt those biscuits look delicious brother you can cook for sure y'all have a great day and God Bless You And your family Always 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ok, I had given up on trying to make homemade biscuits but now I’m going to have to try it again. Thanks Matt! Y’all are a blessing!
The 2 ingredient recipe is fool proof. I've always struggled to make biscuits. This is the only recipe that works for me. Every time.
Y'all are a great looking bunch of people. I enjoyed this. I'm interested in the chocolate gravy in a jar. Was it canned?
Thank you 😊 It wasn't, she just put it in a jar to gift it to me
The Dinner looks great!
Mmmm! Nice on these cold
Evenings.Nice to see, & hear your family together! Cherish these moments!❤
❤🕊️ Lord's Blessings All ❤️
sometimes i cant believe i sit here and watch y'all chew. lol.
😊 Thank you for visiting with us
Them biscuits looked really yummy. It’s cool to watch how Katie and Corie do some things the same. They even chew their food the same. 😁 Hope y’all have a great weekend. Hugs from the south east coast of Florida.😎🦩🌞🦩😎
I learned to spoon off my biscuits. It eliminates the flattening & cutting.
I really like to hear Katie talk about her working system With the hammers and different types of hammering. Thebiscuitslooked real good too!
I love the family video. When my children are done with college and the Army I hope they come back and settle near home. Family time is so important and y’all do a great job at it. That’s the exact way I make biscuits, I’ve had people not believe that biscuits can be so simple to make until I give them that recipe. God bless y’all.
Hi Tipper, what a fun video. How blessed you are to have a husband that can cook. By the way, I love your socks. Hopefully you will get your snow. You can have what we have. Hugs to y'all.
Men can cook, we just don’t do dishes. Momma pays a housekeeper to do that. Mighty fine biscuits Matt !
I do believe that Matt can do just about anything , they look delicious.
Thank you Brenda 😊
I love when y’all share your everyday lives
Your blackberry jelly is on page 185. I’m thrilled your cook book is doing great . I think people should buy extra of them and so when they go to weddings, they can give it to the new bride because a lot of these young kids don’t know how to cook.
Matt has impressive skills... I bet the biscuits were perfect! Enjoyed the visit 🥶👍
The biscuits looked good. And it was so nice of Matt to make them for y’all.
Thank you Krissy 😊
Those biscuits look scrumptious! Thanks Matt!❤️🇨🇦🙏
My wife and I are the same way. We don’t use a rolling pin. Great looking biscuits!
The biscuits turned out great Matt you did a good job good to see Corie and Katie and Tipper ❤️ Shelby
Good looking biscuits, go Matt
Great job, Matt!
I so enjoy these videos ❤❤❤
Matt whooped up them Biscuits like a Professional Chef! Tipper, You might wanna keep him around in the Kitchen more often! Lol 😂 I'm just joking y'all... I know Matt can cook good! I've seen him doing it alot! Hes still hungry and that won't last him long at all... This Cold has been brutal. We barely got above freezing today! Its gonna get back down from 2°- 4° again Saturday night and Sunday night! I'm ready for Spring! Y'all stay Warm n Safe! God Bless. ❤🔥
Those biscuits look delicious and I bet the house smells good too! Always enjoy your videos. Have a blessed evening.
Thank you! You too!
Nice to watch you cooking, Matt!
Biscuits looked awesome ❤ looked like a nice treat! I only use your recipe now for biscuits…so easy & quick…hope you eventually get some snow ❄️
Good family time and nice job Matt! Thank you Tipper!
Those Biscuits Looked Soo 😋 😋 Matt Done Awesome...Just Love How Close You All Are..That Within Itself Is A True Blessing...Yall Continue To Be Blessed!! ❤😊
That looks yummy. It has been rainy and chilly where I live.
Great example of how to cook biscuits on the woodstove for fun or when the power is out. They looked good.
Love when your family of 4 are in the vid together. Thank you for inviting us to sit by your wood stove. If you could just figure a way to share your yummy foods thru the screen! 🍽❤
Way to go, Matthew, you da man! I enjoy these short and sweet watch-us-eat videos. It's been a few digits below zero up in New Mexico with killer wind chills. Now it's all turning to mud in the yard--bummer.
You're the man!
Perfect biscuits, Matt!
That looks so good! Yall are getting what we had night before last 8 degrees---brrrrr Matt will you come give cooking lessons to Bill? HA! Just kidding, he does ok.
Clearly everyone ate the last of Matts bacon. This is the exact recipe I use when my family leaves me alone in the house for 6 weeks, and I don't see a single squirrel in the yard......😆 Great biscuits, just don't show us any buns.
Thanks.
Your biscuits look good Mr. Matt! I wish we had a woodstove like yours. Hope y'all have been okay and hopefully y'all will get some snow, since Ms. Tipper likes it so much! As always best wishes from Memphis!
When I was in boy scouts I made a pineapple upside down cake on cast iron vessel you are using.
There were zero complaints.
Matt makes biscuit making so easy!
Them some good look biscuits! Making me hungry! 😋
Matt, there’s nothing Ike cooking on a woodstove! We had an old fashioned wood cook stove and used it all the time. Sure miss it. Then we had one like yours and loved having a pot of beans , etc cooking all day. You didn’t use that last bit of dough to make a baby biscuit. 🥰my mom always made a baby biscuit, you’ll have to get use to making two soon! Wont be long!
Those look delicious Great job Matt. Yall have a blessed night.
Matt, I could taste those biscuits with that jelly. You are blessed with a beautiful family.
Love a man that can cook!
I sure would like to have some biscuits and blackberry jelly. It’s going to be cold here for the next several days and that would hit the spot!
Turned out beautiful, Matt!
Those look good. I have been meaning to try that recipe.
Anything cooked in a cast iron skillet tastes better. When my wife and I downsized and moved we had to get rid of a whole 24 foot van of antiques at an auction house. The one thing that surprised me the most is what the cast iron #12 Griswold skillet with a lid brought. 295.00! Come to find out it would have brought closer to 500.00 on eBay. Like Matt's skillet, mine belonged to my grandma. She carried it around in the trunk of a 1949 Dodge coupe for years. One day I asked her what she was going to do with that skillet. She said "Give it to you". I gladly took it and cherished it. Love you guys.
Love that 😊 Thank you
the blue plate cafe here in huntsville al makes the chocolate gravy in mornings lost of people love it i love the sausage gravy thanks for yall videos enjoy them everyday
Matt your mothers pan is a treasure, I’m lucky enough to have my mothers pan like that and all her cast iron. Gotta love them. Y’all stay warm. We’re still thawing out. Expecting another storm ⛈ love it. Prayers and blessings
I could hear them sizzling when they come off the stove.😋 I don't believe there's a thing Matt can't do!👏
You are so nice-thank you Tony!
Nice video y'all. I've cooked on an old wood stove some. I was surprised at how fast you can get the knack of how to do so but no doubt, they sure are hot. I bet that the Blackberry jelly was really good. I like Blackberries and love jellies made from any sort of berries. My favorite go to topping for biscuits other than Sausage Sawmill Gravy is some kind of good honey like Tupelo, Orange Blosson or Sourwood. You folks take care and May God Bless you all.
Right about now, Id tease Matt for not wareing a aprin, but I like his cooking. Ha
I absolutely love food cooked on a wood stove! Good job, Matt! You also mentioned that you didn’t get snow again 😢. I wish I could send you some from eastern Kentucky! We have 6 inches and it’s still falling pretty heavily today!
My mom’s side of the family is from Waynesville and everyone I know from there is now passed. I find listening to Matt talk is very familiar and comforting. Also, I need to try these biscuits! Thanks for sharing 💕
I would love to see Matt purchase the Sherem Easy Split Drill bit. If the ad that shows it in action is an accurate representation, I couldn't rush fast enough to purchase one.
Maybe you won't get the same upper body workout, but the task of wood splitting would be more efficient. And, your time spent would probably be cut in half.
Yes i just talked to my momma whi lives in central West Virginia and she said they have about 6 inches on the ground and its very cold. I miss that, im in central Oklahoma. I was just imagining the snows we had when i was a kid. They were magical, though it made life difficult for the adults, i just lived it. My mom's 84 and I'm 62, that was awhile ago❤
Blackberry Jelly is my favorite. It always reminds me of my Grandmother. She would make it from scratch with blackberries my grandpa picked in the wild every year. He would never tell anyone where the bushes where either. As far as I know he took that secret to his grave. Smuckers isnt nearly as good as homemade, but I have to take what I can get.
Next time Matt can try Chuck wagon cooking using wood. Bake biscuits that way. Those that he made on the wood stove sure looked good. I was referring to the type cooking Kent Rollins does on his channel
We used have wood heater cooking food is really delicious Matt biscuits looks delicious biscuits and gravy is very good are jelly peanut butter and biscuits God bless everyone 😀
What a great way to cook and make delicious biscuits. Thank you Matt. Wisconsin is covered in snow and cold. 14 degrees is a heat wave.
Matt cooks like my husband.😂 I am always like, "That tastes great. How did you make it?" "I made it to suit me."
😊
Great video…those cream containers remind me of my grandmother, who was born in 1920s..she used to make us fold open the top on those type containers to get the last “swaller” that was left, as to not waste.
❤y'all are so cute together, all cozy and warm near the wood burner stove. Matt you're pretty handy in the biscuit making depth. They looked delicious.
You are a good man Matt
I can only imagine how delicious those biscuits must be. Warm with homemade jelly on them. Breakfast is my favorite meal, I'm going to have to practice with the biscuits, pour some sausage gravy over them.
Would love a good piece of Goodnight Brothers Ham on one of those Biscuits.
Dang! You did it up on those biscuits!
Hopefully it doesn't ice too bad for y'all Matt makes good looking biscuits just needed some fried tenderloin.
Yum that would have been good Kevin!
At first I was confused then it dawned on me that Matt is probably using self rising flour. Watching made me hungry. On my way to get something to eat as soon as the video is over.
😊 Yes self rising. Thank you!
Mmmm, biscuits with rhubarb jam, that’s my favorite. TeresaSue
Them be looking good. Pour some molasses mixed with butter on em' dang right.
