Grazi! Excellent tutorial. I was searching for how to make a better crema. I didn't know that some.robusto and dark roast are key. What percentage robusto in the blend?
We have the same 2 cup size moka pot. A friend of mine gave it to us this week. Transitioning from instant coffee to moka pot espresso is life changing.
My wife asks me why I don't just use instant coffee instead of "messing with that pot". You said it correctly - it's the ritual of using the Moka. It enhances the enjoyment, it slows things down a little.
Love your tutorial on Moka Pot brewing. One point, you can't use an aluminum Bialetti Moka Pot on an induction cooktop. From the video, it appears you are using a radiant (glass) cooktop
I can not get any foam from my new Bialetti moka coffee maker. I put it on a lowest possible heat, use Bialetti grinded coffe for moka - newer get any single bubble. Always getting just plain black coffee.
Was he talking about coffee or something? Yeah, very handsomely distracting! I’m sorry I went there, I watched it again and followed instructions. Very good!
When I use my Moka pot, only a fraction of the water I pour comes out and it always come out of the nozzle spitting and splatters everywhere. Why could this be happening?
@@ilbaristaitaliano494 I'm not sure if it counts as fresh roasted but it's usually one of the starbucks ones, at the minute I'm using the blonde one, whole bean
I used an Arabica 100% light roasted that doesn't give a lot of crema at the brewing, I will post other videos with different blends and different crema texture. Cheers
why does my moka explode? I think that I may have the heat to high. It makes a dangerous mess. Do you stand beside the moka and watch it come out the top?
@@debramcelhaney3150 no that's never happened to me. The first thing my nonno told me when I started making coffee with his moka was to never fill the water above the release valve. If you do block the valve by doing that, the pressure build-up has nowhere to go, that may be what caused your moka to explode.
@@MrSunshine251 I used it in Italy for 5 years with no problem.....I will try less water....it is a terrible mess to clean up when it explodes...thank you
Hot. I saw a James Hoffman video where he says it’s best to use hot water because when you use cold water and you are heating it up too long, you are also heating your coffee grounds, which makes it more bitter
this is how you burn the handle of your moka pot...and when the moka pot starts to bubble you have to stop the boiling process because now water steam is coming thru, which is way to hot for making coffee.
the reason you stop has nothing to do with it being too hot to make coffee this is absurd....instead its bc of the time of the extraction....too long means over extracted...got nothing to do with temp
thanks a lot for your tip! I normally grind the amount I use for the whole day, and I never know how many moka I will make and for how many people, so I just grind a random amount. cheers
There is nothing more romantico than listening to an Italian explain anything. Stay well.

Just coming on here to say that😜

Only Americans would say that crap. Instant coffee is nasty.
"Focus.." had me laughing 🤣🤣
🤣😂🤣
1:34 damn i love that sound!
2:38 and this too
Please tell me when you put the heat off? I have ruined 3 moka pots already.
Do you put cold or room temperature water into the container?
What is the grind size? Same as espresso?
Less than boiling temp and most would agree larger than esspresso size grind, medium fine
Thanks for re-starting to upload ur video! From Germany.
thank you for supporting me ! cheers
Hello bro, do you use induction stove or elemen stove? How come aluminum pot can use induction stove? I thought it must use stainless stove
Good video! What coffee grinder do you use? I found mine grinds coffee too coarse, like it's for a French Press.
Can i make one cup of coffe with moka pot for two cup? Or i must tu buy moka pot for one cup?
ciao mate , this video is priceless .. thank you! why we should not leave space for air? thanks again!

Thank you for the great info. I guess I need to get better coffee. Oooh coffee and chocolate.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you once again.
I would love a neighbour who starts grinding coffee at 5.30 am 😂 great video though!
Wow, new kitchen.
I thought Bialetti is not meant for induction stoves. Don't you use an adapter?
You can use the venus on induction

how much is a shot? nice video thank you
One shot is 4$ thanks. thanks for watching the video man.
@@ilbaristaitaliano494 NO not money wise weight or volume milliliters, how much is a shot of espresso, i want to make it the way you make it thank you
Great tutorial! Thank you.
thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Why my espreso doesn't have foam?
sometimes when i tap the filter with ground coffee some of the fine grinds drop through in to the bottom. :(
When I use my Moka pot, only a fraction of the water I pour comes out and it always come out of the nozzle spitting and splatters everywhere. Why could this be happening?

@@finlaysalisbury5634 try grinding it coarser, also don't tamp the coffee. Sounds like the water cannot penetrate thru the coffee grounds.
@@yordanpopov thanks for the tips, I'll try this out next time, I don't currently tamp it either but maybe it is to fine
I am nervous about the moka pot because of these rubber gaskets
I think Indian coffee filter is better

whats up with the miniature size cup?
Espresso cup or demi tasse cup.
It'll hold the crema perfectly and also much thicker than big cups
Man you talk about every thing , but the coffee grinder size 😭!!
Good 'esplaining' (explaining)

There is much less of a flavor when it's so hot you need to slurp the coffee............................
Why 2 cups moka? Not 1 cup not 3 cups or 4 cups?))
3 cups moka actually makes 2 cups of espresso.
Il Barista Italiano so, your moka is actually 3 tazze?
