    Grazi! Excellent tutorial. I was searching for how to make a better crema. I didn't know that some.robusto and dark roast are key. What percentage robusto in the blend?

    We have the same 2 cup size moka pot. A friend of mine gave it to us this week. Transitioning from instant coffee to moka pot espresso is life changing.

    My wife asks me why I don't just use instant coffee instead of "messing with that pot". You said it correctly - it's the ritual of using the Moka. It enhances the enjoyment, it slows things down a little.

    Do you put cold or room temperature water into the container?
    What is the grind size? Same as espresso?

      Less than boiling temp and most would agree larger than esspresso size grind, medium fine

    Hello bro, do you use induction stove or elemen stove? How come aluminum pot can use induction stove? I thought it must use stainless stove

    Love your tutorial on Moka Pot brewing. One point, you can't use an aluminum Bialetti Moka Pot on an induction cooktop. From the video, it appears you are using a radiant (glass) cooktop

    I can not get any foam from my new Bialetti moka coffee maker. I put it on a lowest possible heat, use Bialetti grinded coffe for moka - newer get any single bubble. Always getting just plain black coffee.

    sometimes when i tap the filter with ground coffee some of the fine grinds drop through in to the bottom. :(

    When I use my Moka pot, only a fraction of the water I pour comes out and it always come out of the nozzle spitting and splatters everywhere. Why could this be happening?

      May I know what kind of coffee do you use? Is it a fresh roasted one?

      @@ilbaristaitaliano494 I'm not sure if it counts as fresh roasted but it's usually one of the starbucks ones, at the minute I'm using the blonde one, whole bean

      @@finlaysalisbury5634 try grinding it coarser, also don't tamp the coffee. Sounds like the water cannot penetrate thru the coffee grounds.

      You can also try the Indian coffee filter, it is also good and has no rubber parts

      I used an Arabica 100% light roasted that doesn't give a lot of crema at the brewing, I will post other videos with different blends and different crema texture. Cheers

    why does my moka explode? I think that I may have the heat to high. It makes a dangerous mess. Do you stand beside the moka and watch it come out the top?

      Are you filling your water too high? You can't go above the pressure release valve...

      @@debramcelhaney3150 no that's never happened to me. The first thing my nonno told me when I started making coffee with his moka was to never fill the water above the release valve. If you do block the valve by doing that, the pressure build-up has nowhere to go, that may be what caused your moka to explode.

      Hot. I saw a James Hoffman video where he says it’s best to use hot water because when you use cold water and you are heating it up too long, you are also heating your coffee grounds, which makes it more bitter

    this is how you burn the handle of your moka pot...and when the moka pot starts to bubble you have to stop the boiling process because now water steam is coming thru, which is way to hot for making coffee.

      the reason you stop has nothing to do with it being too hot to make coffee this is absurd....instead its bc of the time of the extraction....too long means over extracted...got nothing to do with temp

      thanks a lot for your tip! I normally grind the amount I use for the whole day, and I never know how many moka I will make and for how many people, so I just grind a random amount. cheers
