Everything goes in cycles... The reason why passing is down is because all the defenses went smaller with speed and now if you have a big offensive line and strong back, you can dominate by running. This is exactly what Belichick used to do all the time by switching up his offense to beat the current defenses of the league.

Mayo has Jacoby as the as starter so where does the comparisons need to be if the team is where you are supposed to be concerned with. Talk about the importance of the team working on getting better as a whole. We need help on both sides of the ball in a season where the league is not as good as projected. Because Belichick pouted and acted like a spoil little brat he didn't do his job to support the pick. 21:57 Phil watched this past MNF Washington win at Bengals, did you? Daniels went 21 for 23, 254 yards, 2 TDs, no INTs - and a QB rating of 141.7. Daniels' game-winning 27-yard TD pass to McLaurin was thrown to the OUTSIDE, right sideline of the end zone. Daniels is no flash in the pan - he will prove to be the best long passer to come into the NFL since Mahomes and before him, Aaron Rodgers.
