I think Piet's voice is beautiful, but lacks the kind of control he'll achieve as he gets older and assuming that he's getting professional training. At present, it seems unstable, as if the voice, and not Piet, is in charge. I hope to see more of him in the near future, but I think I'll find more to admire in about 5 years of maturing.
I still prefer Dimash's but I do appreciate Piet's talent and think this cover is beautiful in its own way. I think the only thing that Piet misses is a live recording because live singing has a different impact on people, than studio recording. After almost 10 years of posting many studio recorded covers on RUclips, I heard he's finally going to do a live recording (or live performance I'm not sure) because many are starting to question his ability of live singing. To all Dimash fans, just a reminder, I know Dimash is still number 1 for most of us but please don't hate on this guy Piet. He's also a fan of Dimash. Be respectful like Dimash.
Singer songwriter Caleb Coles had also cover SOS in english, when someone ask him about Piet's version, he said that there is a lot of electronic tuning going on, he said maybe Piet can't sing it at all
I love Caleb's version, because he did something that Dimash does and made his own version of the song, and in return it sounded more authentic and genuine to me!
He’s not a random youtuber. He’s actually a singer songwriter. Knows what he’s talking about. Never says a bad word about anyone. Should look him up before you pass judgment.
As observed, this was a studio recording and during studio recording you can do a lot of enhancements. It would be better if Piet sang it live and lets see how is it.
Edit:ok so I feel a bit guilty because I was one of the first commenters who pointed out the digital manipulation and maybe others followed suit to the point of some calling him fake. Just to clarify, I like his voice. I watched his earlier videos, he can sing, I don't think he's fake. It's just that here, the engineering was too much. It would have been better to hear more of his natural voice. Original comment: I liked the musical arrangement in this one. His voice seemed quite delicate, of course can't help compare it to Dimash's live powerful/intense vocals. This is obviously digitally enhanced/patched up, but he has a good voice nonetheless.
We all can judge for ourselves. Thank you. Even if this was live it wouldn't make a big difference because he makes it sound artificial., and just another copy version. I love Diana, Hua and many other artists too and appreciate them. This guy maybe good , may have whistles but doesn't have emotion, because he's trying too hard to imitate.. Simple.
@@acorps6864 had he not tried to copy Dimash, and do such strange and bad sounding transitions, he would have been really appreciated. It really sounds odd. I am not justifying the word fake, but I do understand where they are coming from. His other covers are better. He cannot do Dimash mainly because of his weak range.
@@user-rm4fu3sc2h it's just a cover, nothing wrong with that, but obviously he cannot copy dimash's style because he lacks power, that's why he resorted to digital manipulation. So I understand too why he is called fake by some, but I think that is still too harsh/insulting. Judging by the likes on his video, there are those who appreciate his sound, either they don't mind or don't recognize the digital effects. (personally, I like digital effects on certain songs too, but not classics like SOS). I appreciate his effort though. But I think there is also a sort of backlash from dimash fans because some of piet's fans keep on posting on dimash's videos. I, for one, am triggered when I read comments that piet is better. But if i try to objective, I think he's OK and his voice would sound good even without the manipulation.
@@acorps6864 exactly. Caleb was much appreciated by Dimash fans. Because he has the voice and did not copy Dimash. Digital or not, if ppl like it, they do.If not, they don't. Should be left at that. Instead ,not just there, I have seen many videos where these Piet fans drag Dimash and insult him. Fake is insulting, then you should see what all they call Dimash. And yes, they also say Piet is far better singer than Dimash because he whistles very well and Dimash squeaks. And his friends here are saying Dimash fans are bad. They don't seem to know all the insults hurled at Dimash. And are justifying that Piet considers Dimash as his idol. He may or may not, but his fans don't. Piet has a good voice for mellow pop and he uses plenty of falsetto and he needn't cover Dimash at all. Because he struggles with low, mix, and belts and will sound odd always. His other covers are awesome and he will do well if he continues that.
He sings great but he doesn't have the same power as Dimash, also this was a studio version, it would be interesting to see if he can hit those high notes live.
@@xaviermejia3362 it's just logical that he doesn't sing live. All of his uploads are digitally tuned. The top of his range seems to be the mid 5th octave
@@JasminGardenia In his S.O.S I definitely heard lots of effects on his voice, for some reason I didn't think about possible auto-tuning & pitch manipulation. Hmmmm....
@@MI-rb1dr The depths and variety, the different areas of the scale all completely at his command, and the genuine passion he demonstrates, all are bonuses, above being merely a good singer. Yes, you're right, I am completely Dimashified.
@@clfoster82 He has never sung live. The whole track was autotuned, but the low note and the high notes were additionally heavily edited. The higher he goes, the more artificial the tone gets. He apparently recorded the entire song in a much lower key and then tuned the pitch up. The highest note that seems to be real (but still slightly autotuned) is in the 5th octave, and it's sung in a week, thin falsetto, it seems like this is the top of his range. These parts are supposed to be sung in a balanced mix. He was not able to sing it in a balanced mix, he was not able to sing it in a heady mix, he was not able to sing it in full head voice and he was not even able to sing it in a stronger and better controlled falsetto, because the 5th octave seems to be already too high for his comfortable range. This is really odd and has the typical tone of sth that is too heavily tuned, when the tuned pitch is really far from the pitch of the actually recorded vocals, then you get this typical artificial tone you have right here.
This is a good effort by Piet but as others have stated there is definite assistance by the studio sound engineer e.g. at the 5 minutes point. I see Dimash as being better all round and see the comparison similar to an international footballer player who started kicking a ball as soon as he could walk as opposed to a guy taking it up at 12, who can eventually play at quite a high level.
I am sure you are right and you don't need to have the power and vocal range to sell a song as demonstrated by the blues artists of bygone days who had tons of soul.
The difference is this song was recorded in the studio and Dimash was singing live and people could do a lot of things in the studios to change or cover up imperfect sounds that they don’t wanna hear or make it better.
He actually artificially tuned the pitch up. The low note, the top 5th octave, the 6th octave and the 7th octave in this recording are not real. It's artificially tuned
sounds ok but only ok. he dosnt have the warmth. belting and full dynamics, nor the feelings that Dimash has. pretty much only headvoice and whistle. Dimash deliver so much more feelings. i would prefer Dimash every time before this guy but maybe future will show what hes got.
Unfortunately Piet's recordings are not real. He digitally tunes the pitch in all of them, and he has never sung live. In this one the low note is digitally tuned and so are all notes above the mid 5th octave. He sings the mid 5th octave that is supposed to be sung in a balanced mix in falsetto, and already seems to struggle to hit them... this seems to be the top of his range... the rest is pitch shifting. This is why most vocal coaches on YT refuse to react to Piet's stuff. E. Yücelen, Turkey's most famous voice teacher, however, recently reacted to this recording. He was totally annoyed by all the digital tuning. And he said that the high notes were recorded in a much lower key, and after the recording the pitch of the vocals was artificially tuned up. He was so annoyed that he wasn't even able to watch the whole video. Except for the "whistle", he wasn't annoyed by the "whistle" but burst out laughing instead. (And once again said that he didn't really sing this, but just artificially tuned the pitch up). Here's the link (subtitles available): ruclips.net/video/kNIiwmsdff0/видео.html
The Turkish voice teacher is wrong. I don't care if he's the most famous voice teacher in the world. It takes a lot more than just skimming through a recording to establish what he claimed. Piet has many, many videos that are clearly not edited in the same way as SOS where he proves he can sing in all of his 6 octaves.
@@isivaasanaru5643 I'm not a sound engineer but the tone is clearly electronic at its core, but high on low range. If you can sing, why the need to do so much work on it? Also he can skim through the videos because he studies it before his reactions.
@@JustMyOpinion1010 Did he though? Because if I remember it correctly, this was linked by one of his subscribers in a live chat he did. So he viewed it directly live on RUclips.
I heard from him once when uploaded his own cover for Dimash SOS. As I listen to him for the second time, I hear and noted the difference, Dimash carries more emotion, Piet uses falsetto a lot and sharp notes. Dimash uses full voice, mid range , more full low voice. Piet maybe using autotune, and recording. I want to see him sing live then I believe him. Dimash is original and to be truthful, these covers don't come out without Dimash originality. But Dimash is so softer in delivering the song. This is how I feel guys. 🇺🇸😍
@jasper mulla He maybe good but so obvious that he is using an autotune. If you listen to his low note, it is obviously heavily supported and too clean. And it is inside a studio. Like a lot of the Dears who commented on the issue, the only thing he can prove me wrong is doing a live show,/ performance without pre recording.
@jasper mulla who told you that I have hate? My point is I don't care for his version, that's it, period. By the way, have you written to all the comments from the Dears what they think about the cover or is it just me????
Like Dimash, his fans are always open to talented singer, so far this is the only version that were bashed because of the digitally manipulated voice. Probably you can check out Caleb Coles version as his version sounded more pleasant and natural😊
Yes I agree. Caleb's cover is much better. He has great mixed and chest voice and head voice too. He can't hit the highest range like Dimash but still I love his cover. He has power. Unlike Piet which is a rather weak version, I must say. There's not much power in his voice. And the autotuned sound annoys me so much.
@@hqmusiclover3800 That's not only autotune. Yes, the whole track is autotuned, but it's more heavily edited, there's additional pitch shifting.. The higher he goes, the more artificial the tones gets, so he goes really far from the actual pitch of the really sung vocals in his editing. If I had to guess I'd say he has sung the 2nd octave note in the 3rd octave, and the upper 5th, the 6th and the 7th octave in partly the 4th and partly the 5th octave. Really weird stuff.
@@belindamelissa8801 You have zero idea what you're talking about. Check out his other videos. He's completely legit and the autotune isn't doing anything near what you explained.
Peit Arion is a great singer, but Dimash sang it live and peit did the studio version plus pitch correction and some kinda stuff, and also his vocals are weak comparing to Dimashs' notes.
this version is okay but it’s obviously digitally modified which i find a little dishonest. Dimash’s voice is real, more powerful and let’s be honest, he’s untouchable when it comes to live performances
Jouseline live versions... not saying recorded studio versions aren’t modified with technology but we’re talking about SOS here im sure a lot of the notes he can’t sing them live
@@BrunoAlmeida-yn7ei Of course in studio versions, there are some tweaks here and there. I think what he means is that the editing on the vocals, not just the arrangement, is just too obvious.
Jouseline not you trying to seem smart but missing my whole point lmao ofc studio versions have some arrangements but not this level of modifications. u can clearly hear his voice is edited and whats the point if he can’t sing it live? i could upload a video rn and edit it in the way he did and everyone would think im a vocalist but thats not the point. dimash sings those songs live and raw and that’s what makes a true artist, this cover is good but its just not real and even with all those modifications his voice isn’t as powerful and the notes don’t all sound well placed. period
Good cover of Dimash. Obviously a lot of manipulations. Now let's see if he can do it again and again and again like Dimash. No disrespect to this guy, but Dimash is in a class of his own.
@@yugiohlegend I don't agree with you. Dimash is like Leonardo da Vinci among artists. There have never been such in the history of mankind. It's a fact. In vocals-he has no equal
IMO, piet version was smooth, while dimash was powerfull. But, for someone that understand french, i'm more understand with piet version. Idk maybe dimash wasn't speak french and yeah, piet too, but he trying to understand about french first. Not trying to compare both. Both was awesome on their way. And i aggree, Piet record it in studio, anything could happen since there's a shit called technology and yes, dimash doing it live, and that's for real. Talk about emotion in someone voice, i'm curious, what if Lara Fabian sing this song.
Good cover, but a lot of editing. I like Dimash’s version more harmoniously. The vocalization at the end of the song is more appropriate for Dimash than the whistle for Piet, IMHO.
I absolutely don't think that the whistle was inappropriate. It is just not real. He obviously recorded it in the 5th octave and then artificially tuned the pitch up
I will never be impressed by heavily edited singing. We have absoluty no idea if he even could make it live so for me this is just... meeeh. I hear quite a few parts that in it's original would be very weak but is enhanced in every possible way to sound stronger. I also don't like his timing in some areas. It is just off.
So, a couple things. First, Not a Dimash song, although Dimash has covered this song as well. The song is from Starmania, a French rock opera from the 70s. Lots of folks have tried to sing this, and Dimash and Piet are both pretty amazing takes on the original. The translation can be found with a quick google search. Piet has an amazingly light beautiful sound that is not the same as the more operatic Dimash. Just different things. Both beautiful in their own right and both with otherworldly ranges. Each unique. The song is the same but the intents of the performances are clearly different. Many have suggested that this was post edit but Piet is the real deal. He's also extremely humble and it is quite a shame that so many folks are on the inter webs making accusations that are frankly unsupportable. When someone is this talented, of course it bring critics out to shine their ignorance in front of the rest of us. There is plenty of room in the universe for both, and each can be their own thing.
He can hit some high notes , but the entire song wasn't full of tone and color like Dimash. And Dimash has a richness to his voice no matter what note he hits.
He uses one of the top studios & producers in Vienna & yet says the producer isn’t good enough at mixing so he pays a seperate sound engineer to work on it too (at huge expense) & he’s never sung live- draw yr own conclusions 😕
Please check out his cover of “no time to die” by Piet Arion. He has videos posted for ten years so it is clear that he was executing an extreme range for many years before Dimash came along. I love Dimash but Piet rather pioneered some of this ground.
Yes, the whol track is autotuned, but it's not only autotune. That's more heavily edited. The higher he goes, the more artificial the tones gets, so he seems to goes really far from the actual pitch in his editing
@@belindamelissa8801 That's a ridiculous claim based on zero evidence. If you listened to his other songs you'd realize that whistle is not even difficult for him.
Totally agree... Unlike Dimash, there's no emotion here.. he's just trying hard to sing his heart's out but maybe just maybe he should do his own version rather than mixing both the original and Dimash versions together.. #justsaying but he sure has nice voice no doubt...
@@belindamelissa8801Not having any experience in music except how I feel emotionally when listening to a performance. However I have heard Dimash sing and not to compare, of course we cannot help but to do so, but Dimash soothes my soul while Piet Arion seems to be a bit too mechanical. He has great range, if not altered digitally, just needs to work on delivering with more natural passion. Now I need to recenter myself by listening to some Dimash.

There’s sound manipulation on every studio recording no matter who the artist is, but I think he went a little too heavy on this one. But consider this- he’s never sung live, says because there’s nowhere for him to perform live in Vienna, but there are reports from local musos that he’s been invited to sing live many times, but always makes an excuse as to why he can’t. A little strange right? 🤔

Piet is an Austrian singer. This cover sounded wonderful and he is truly a great singer, especially in the higher registers. Dimash is still the king, but it's very nice to hear some variations of Dimash's style. As Sam said, I would buy Piet's stuff and I have, in fact, already contributed to him. If you guys want to react to another of Piet Arion's songs, his cover of Whitney Houston's 'One Moment in Time' is excellent.
I wonder if you really don't know that he always digitally edits the pitch of his recordings or if you simply don't care (which is okay) and now act like it was natural...?
@@petercauter9691 How do you know this? I think post-production enhancement is quite common and I seriously doubt that this can turn a bad singer into a great one.
This just proves the extraordinary gift Dimash has! Even though this guy has great range, the control, strength, composure, and passion in every range Dimash has is just too overwhelming for anyone to replicate. He seemed like he got lost in the song and it wasn't as fluid as when Dimash sings it. He is very talented, and can hit the notes, but the execution is off and you can clearly hear his strengths and weaknesses. Dimash has none!😆
@@JasminGardenia Wow really? I didn't even realize that. But like I said, even if it was all real, it sounded like he was trying for dear life to replicate what Dimash did, and the song, along with Dimash's mastery of it, ate him alive.
Honestly, I find Dimash singing much more natural. He conveys an emotion I don't find in this version. Piet Arion says: "I love Dimash. I'm one of his biggest fans. his vocal technique is incredible. he inspires so many singers, and me as well. I think we all would like to sing like Dimash, but that is not possible. we can console each other by reminding ourselves, everyone of us is unique in their own way! I love this song and it's about what sense we have on this planet. I learned French for this song and I tried to do my best and to make my own interpretation of it. I did not sing the song to be compared to Dimash. Dimash is my idol and he will always be the best in what he does! His spirit is a warm-hearted soul, fighting for peace and love! and like my idol, I want to give as much love as I can and wish everyone of you the best and much fun with this song."
There's something very odd about this. The whole track is autotuned, but the low one and the high notes are additionally manually digitally tuned. Hmm Seems like there are partly even several octaves (!) at the high notes between the actually recorded and the edited vocals. Odd stuff. Never heard anything like that outside of electronic music

Hey guys, great reaction! I checked out Piet's statement in his info from the video (btw Brian, his name sounds Israeli to me) - I don't remember his exact wording, but he was saying that he identifies as a Dear & is inspired by Dimash, & that he knows he can't compete with him and intends it more as a tribute. In that spirit I feel like - ok, go for it! He may be comparable in pop singing and whistle, which would be saying a lot! Like you guys, I give him a lot of credit for what he has done here. It's the only thing I've heard by him so far. But judging from this, I'd say that the main thing he's lacking compared to Dimash (and it's a BIG thing) is OPERATIC TRAINING, from the age of 5!! I don't hear that in Piet's singing. His low notes & his tenor register lack the power, also the impeccable diction & other qualities that Dimash gained from OPERA. His falsetto notes are just that - falsetto, because they don't have the support. Dimash somehow figured out how to support his head voice more and make it just like a powerful female soprano, again, because of his OPERATIC training, and because he's a genius who figured out & was able to do something no one else has. From what I heard, I would say that Piet may equal Dimash in whistle register, that's a worthy achievement for him anyway. But yeah, it's a good thing he doesn't want to compete with our man, if he did he'd be in serious trouble!!
@@belindamelissa8801 The tuning is very standard tuning. It's not like he's layering it on unusually thick. Just the fact that he can do whistle notes (something literally 98% of singers never learn) should tell you he's proficient enough to sing this live with maybe two notes off pitch and maybe one dodge.
There is only one king of vocals and this is Dimash. No one can compare with him. There are many amazing singers, but these are pop singers, nothing unusual, they will never sing an opera like Dimash. And even opera singers cannot sing pop music. This guy is unique in that he can sing all genres and also challenges himself in every new song. In addition, the possession of the stage and voice during the performance is simply amazing. Sorry guys, but so far no one is showing this.
I listened. He copies Dimash one to one, tries very hard, but did not bring anything of his own to the song. He sang well, but to Dimash, to his impeccable every note - far away.
Big different is this guy is in a studio with lots of engineering not live like Dimash. Dimash still has my vote as the best voice in the world.
@@CamSmithMusic02 When ? ^^
Dimash probably also produced hard for the tv
I think Piet's voice is beautiful, but lacks the kind of control he'll achieve as he gets older and assuming that he's getting professional training. At present, it seems unstable, as if the voice, and not Piet, is in charge. I hope to see more of him in the near future, but I think I'll find more to admire in about 5 years of maturing.
Are you listening?? Idiot!!!!
Ya'll need to stop being a pack of haters! Dimash would not be please with you he celebrates other peoples talents just as his own.
Piet is very and very talented. Good song, good artist, why not. Please
One can not simply compare Dimash and Piet. Both are talented and Piet demonstrates his out of this world vocal. Come on! 😏
That's ridiculous omg... do you have any proof? Or just a random youtuber who say that...?
He’s not a random youtuber. He’s actually a singer songwriter. Knows what he’s talking about. Never says a bad word about anyone. Should look him up before you pass judgment.

Yer and? Stop making a mountain out of a mole hill. He still never said anything bad.

@@brycepascua99 Lol I think I was lied to
Absolutely. A fake version. It has been manipulated many times in the studio.
Simple.
@@user-rm4fu3sc2h yes I understand the dislike, but calling him "fake" is too much. That is still his voice, even with those digital manipulations.
He's been invited to perform anything live, even in his local venues, but has never.

Kitty Mitty from my understanding he can hit all of those notes live and will be recording something outside of the studio soon to prove it 🤷🏻♂️
@@clfoster82 He has never sung live.

Piets version goes so deep into thrpe heart, unbefreakinglievable!!!!!

Aw man, I wish I'd seen this before suggesting in in the other video. My bad. Thank you for doing this one!

Piet Arion says:
"I love Dimash.
I think this reaction was a bit distorted by RUclips. If you listen to his video it doesn't sound strange at all.
Where is piet live material? I only seen one live whistle on youtube. Every his home page seems to be all pre-recorded, does he have any full albums out? Adam lopez will drop his groceries and sing live into a banana if need be and dats why I like him.
He is lipsyncing in that high note. It’s clearly computer work. And there is so much autotune in here. His voice is very weak actually. You should know that. Love your reaction guys 💞
Turna supposedly this isn’t the case and he will be doing a live version in his apartment where he proves he can hit all the same notes outside of a studio. We shall see.
Of course he is lipsyncing. That's a studio record. lol Just see it as a music video. There's basically nothing wrong with that. But it's true that he never sings live and that the pitch is digitally edited. He did not really sing this. The pitch was tuned
Peter Cauter :
Check his Morissette “ akin ka na lang” he nails both whistle notes. 20,000 LIKES and over 4000 Comments 99% “ WOW Amazing” and believe me Filipinos would let him have it if he faked those whistle notes. Check out his other vids. Many with sustained whistle notes. Please remember he’s never had a singing lesson in his life, works at a low paying non musical job. Yes, he’ll be performing live soon to put to rest all these doubters. Of course you can’t compare him to Dimash who I consider the best pop-op vocalist in the world.
He loves Dimash, Morissette, and his idol Mariah ( RUclips his Mariah medley never to far hero” ). Give the kid a break.
Al
Peter Cauter : he did it in one take without lip syncing. Before you make such absurd comments, check out his tribute to Morissette where he nails both Whistle notes with vibrato. He has received over 22,000 LIKES and over 4000 Comments 99% are WOW. If he would have faked it, the philipinos would have given him plenty of negative comments but just to satisfy the handful of doubters, he did “ Vetsion 2 which was basically s similiar Version but he introduced it at his house with a whistle note that was not from any recording studio.
Please bear in mind that this is a hobby for Piet , never had a singing lesson , doesn’t work in the music industry so please show some love -if you call yourself one of Dimash “ Dears”.

NO he is using Dimash's name for more people to view his video and to make money .Via paypal.
Tons of editing skills
This guy is really great, but Dimash is the best and Dimash can sing much more high and much more beautiful.
One more thing: this song of that guy is computer generated with a lot of autotune. Unfortunately, he will not be able to sing this song live like Dimash.
But this guy sings really good, but it's fake, it's computer generated. His range seems to be the mid 5th octave, and he already struggles.
But Dimash, but Dimas guys: he has OVER 6 octave range, and he sounds undescribable. His low notes is amazing and out of this world, his high notes so angelic and pure perfection. In one word: Dimash is the best singer of all times, but at the same time so humble. 🙂🙂
I thought I heard some autotune
Dimash is amazing he sings live.. The best singer in the world for me 😊

Piet Arion is Austrian, living in Vienna! His first language is German and second language is English! He sings a lot of different songs! His style is different from Dimash, but still very good! The original SOS song was sung by French singer Daniel Balavoine

I don't know why people are saying it is Dimash's song, it is a cover from a French Canadian rock opera. Other male singers sang it in the 80's Dimash made it relevant to recent times, but the structure and writing of the song is breathtaking.....
I can’t hear his low range clearly
So much studio edition
Did not like this at all. His voice is being manipulated. He is no where near Dimash...
come on man, why u gotta hate😕
At least he can sing better them you😝😏

@Khair My cat can also sing with all the fake auto tune. If you like him that much pay him he is always asking for donation put same money in his paypal. FFS
it'll be interesting to actually see if this person can sing that song live like dimash. great reactions
Not to be someone who dislikes anything else but.. it’s just not nearly as good. If this guy sings this live I will have more respect !
How can he sing this live? The pitch was artificially tuned, just like in all if his YT uploads.

This version of SOS sounds very much like a mix of the original singer and Dimash. Also, this singer appears to know French. Unfortunately, I wasn't moved by this performance.
It rather sounds like a mix of a singer and a computer (which is what it really is)
@@petercauter9691 Stop it. You're not making any sense. You can't just say that it's a computer without providing any arguments. If you listen to his other songs you'll clearly hear him sing in all octaves.
I think Caleb Coles does a better cover of Dimash's SOS. Maybe you guys should react to his version. Tq. Peace.
Come on guys, it's not even close to ANY live version of Bruce Lee .
No kung fu chops.. no prescience of a super master.
😉I saw your jaws ON THE FLOOR when you watched Dimash...
Heard doubt in this one
Well, this guy can reach high notes, but I don't hear the 'substance' in his voice. Dimash with the operatic voice gives 'substance' to all his songs. With this guy's high notes, it sounds pretty 'fluffy' which I can't imagine listening to his voice everyday. So, meh...
I enjoyed this take on sos. but doesn't hit the soul like Dimash version did for me. Anyone that can sing this song and do a good job we should appreciate. But being a new listener to dimash. And now as a fan. He just has that it factor not all singers can have. :)
Daniel Balavoine is the original artist. When Dimash covered it, he rearranged the piece to fit his style and vocal range. So this man is doing a cover of a cover, but doing it more in Dimash’s style than Daniel’s.

Dimash fans appreciate many artists like Diana, Hua and others. There's nothing against Piet but when we dont have any emotional connect, you cant force it and blame us. There's just a single tone through the whole song.
Caleb and the kid Eduardo did better than Piet, without any extravagant notes. Emotion matters.
Best wishes to Piet.
@@user-rm4fu3sc2h Well, I'm a Dimash fan who has a tremendous appreciation of Piet, so don't generalize. And to say that Piet displays no emotion is patently absurd!

This guy is good, but is not just having the talent to hit different notes range, a lot of good singers have that. But Dimash is the whole package. He hit dose notes so beautifully, with such control and power. Dimash could sing in any language and even if you don't understand it, you fell the sentiment of the song with just his voice. His notes literally touch your soul. Sorry for any errors, english is not my first language. Greetings from Puerto Rico, guys. You two are mad cool. Thanks.
Piet is higher. that one note could communicate with dolphin's
Quit comment music! Male hit whistle notes as Mariah Carey and Jeremiah from Lil Nashville, Patagonia having something to negative to say 😂
Dimash is amazing but... Piet showed incredible stamina and breath control. His range is the same if not higher than Dimash and resonates beautifully in the whistle tones he doesn't cut them off... The extreme notes seem to come so easy for him... He is a natural. Piets tone is beautiful even in the real low and higher notes and he also sings in several different languages. Check out his version of Morissette's Akiin Da Na Lang. He's a native Austrian and learned French just so he could sing this song... his French was clear and beautiful, not garbled at all. Dimash and Piet are awesome. There is room for two extremely talented singers... Lol

There's no more autotune than in any other studio song. Get over it.

Dimash SOS Arnau Concert. Amazing!
He has a pleasant enough voice but it's not as powerful as Dimash, but like a previous response "He's not Dimash good". :)
This time you didn't laugh that much as usual)))
I have no doubt that this guy can sing this song. But can he perform as good as this video in a Live performance ? That the question !
Where's the live version so we can hear exactly what he sounds like.
Piet has never sung live. He records something, then heavily edits it (including extensive tuning) and publishes it on RUclips
He never sings live
@@belindamelissa8801 The part about digital tuning is ridiculous. He doesn't do that.
Go and search him and you will see some of his live rendition
Thanks for reaction, I love Piets voice.

There is only one king of vocals and this is Dimash. No one can compare with him. There are many amazing singers, but these are pop singers, nothing unusual, they will never sing an opera like Dimash. And even opera singers cannot sing pop music. Sorry guys, but so far no one is showing this.

I listened. He copies Dimash one to one, tries very hard, but did not bring anything of his own to the song. He sang well, but to Dimash, to his impeccable every note - far away.
