    Brad Whitford is a super nice guy! He signed the Strat you see in my channel logo at a wedding reception for his nephew back in 1999. My band was playing the reception and he came up and jammed with us! We had a blast! I will never forget the experience!

      I first heard Areosmith at a high school Blue mtn high school in VT when I was 13 in 1971
      the same year Dream on came out
      Tyler was 23 10 yrs older than me
      Same yr they first played Dream on at my
      friends high school prom in Littleton NH
      My friend said Tyler said it was the first time they played it out. Then it became one of the
      biggest hits ever!

      If you know to apologise if your out of line, why comment at all? Is it ok to put him down if he hasnt got the issues you mention? The guy is over 60 and has been around the block a few times. Do you really think he would be drunk before a show at his age? You obviously know nothing about his playing and live work. Your ignorance is astounding.

      @ Kurt Moss Hey bro! I have been an Aerosmith fan since childhood! I love Perry, he is a riff -machine,and writes very cool shit, but I always preferred Brad Whitford. Listen to the solo off "Live Booleg" "Lord of the Thighs" He makes that fuckin les paul SCREAM,or maybe it is his B.C. Rich Mockingbird, either way, that solo is so menacing and has sick pitch harmonics and feedback goin on,it is almost out of control!!! He reels it back in towards the end!!!! AMAZING playing!

      @@emperorofgaming8146 Off the top of my head, "Last Child" (probably the one he's most known for), "Sick As A Dog," the first solo on the studio version of "Milk Cow Blues" and I've heard that Joe himself considers "Kings and Queens" the quintessential Brad Whitford solo. Brad is also featured more prominently than usual on the Live Bootleg album, where he adds an extra solo to "Sweet Emotion," among other things.

    • @champkind6877
      @champkind6877 6 лет назад +1

      Many of these old school guitarists don't really know too much about their own gear. I'd bet that Joe Perry couldn't walk you through his entire signal chain the way Trace Foster can. Brad in this video for example, couldn't explain his own pedalboard.
      So I'd say that when the guitarist doesn't know that much about their own rig, maybe it's better to let the tech do the rundown. For a more comprehensive experience.

    Awesome that he plays Hendrix riffs for something to play ... just like everyone else even though he's in aerosmith.

    Very cool of Mr.Whitford to do this video in person, rather than leaving it to his tech...

    Is there a back up to that pedalboard? Or the tech just gets fired?

    In regards to a tremolo system....yes, more springs do help maintain tuning precision, especially if you do double stop bends. The tighter the spring the more control you have. Of course, your whammy bar is going to be stiff in this scenario.

    i think if it was audio from just the camera, you'd here much more of a natural reverb. there must be a mic set up somewhere.
