Visited back in October. Saw Death Valley NP, Manzanar, and Tule on that trip. Fascinating places.

Another great video ! or should I say The best "dam" video 😊 Thanks so much for sharing lot of great information. ive been watching all your vids related to Grand Canyon and hoover dam , for our upcoming trip. Yours are some of the best vids ive watched . I was watching the one on Williams AZ such great information , I didn't know about it being the last town on Route 66 to be bypassed by the interstate .....im so glad we are staying in Williams, my youngest is going to love it, he loves the movie Cars😊have a nice weekend

Thanks for watching! And thanks for the compliments. If your son likes cars one idea for you is to take a little detour and visit Peach Springs in between Hoover dam and Williams. That’s the town radiator springs was based on; it’s located on Route 66.

I had no clue that radiator springs was based on peach springs ! Thanks 🙏🏻 so much for another wonderful tip , now that we know, we are going to have to make this detour !
We will be driving from Vegas , first stop Hoover , next peach springs 😊 he’s going to be thrilled , then on to Williams and finally Grand Canyon !
Thank you so much for replying 😊

Hello. I was there a few years ago. There was a tour offered inside this dam. I saw huge electric turbine make power for - if I remember correctly - four states nearby. Great place.

You are right about the dam serving multiple states. We saw models of the turbines but didn't get to see an actual because the tour was closed. Hopefully next time......

You answered my question about the bridge. I was seeing curius video from that bridge looking down on the dam and i wondered was it from a cable car . It is a bridge . Thanks.
