Once they do the tours again you should definitely consider revisiting. The tour is truly fascinating and you get to go deep into the belly of the Dam.
I did tours of the Dam pre and post 911 and while both tours have excellent behind the scenes views the pre 911 was much more in depth but I have no problem with the new restrictions. So grateful I was able to see it all. Thanks for sharing all your adventures!
If you ever go to Durango/silverton please do a super long video - I cannot get enough of watching and listening to your narrations. These videos are inspiring, calming and relaxing. Colorado is very sentimental to me and I know you would do those locations justice. You gotta bring pops!
It’s crazy how low it’s become. We thought about going after our injury debacle, but they had closed access to most things. I hope it rebounds by the time we return.
If you enjoy hiking then I would recommend doing the Historic Railroad Hiking Trail. You walk through 5 tunnels that were used to deliver materials to build the dam. It is a popular hike with a tiny parking lot so be there early. The full hike gets you past the fifth tunnel and all the way to the Hoover Dam visitor center.
Nice video. We crossed Hoover Dam in 1992 and toured the dam interior. Also was road construction going on at that time. Traffic was held up and we were on a temporary road section suspended from the hill side, I was not thrilled about that. No heights for me, but I did enjoy the walkway on the top of the dam.
This place is very cool. I first saw this place on an episode of the rockford files and ever since then I have wanted to see it. Thanks for the cool visit
And plus on the mineral spread and on the periodic table of elements there it's multi scattered level so the question is do you coordinate it that way or do you coordinate against it
I wouldn't mind going back there one day and walking out onto that new bridge. It was not there when I visited last. Back then traffic across the dam was crazy busy as you can imagine. I did not go inside the dam either so seeing that would also be great. I got scared just looking down from your video! The water was much higher also when I was there! Something I learned is that on the sides of the canyon there are placements for machine guns that they had when building the dam. I don't know if you saw them or learned about them in the visitors center. Just something I don't think many people know.
Also I got this spiral design that goes with the cord cables But I need a different form of light I need more of a water light That plays with the sun So this way the counter moveable and adjustable to the spiral heat That don't just leave a fracture It's coordinated moving To learn how to stream the bubble principle Of where you see your white layers of your water Or the releasement Of a damn In between in between it Precipitation Levels
You think I can borrow some financing Cause I I always need them to offset the depth layers Of the back side of the clock Inside of the turbine gauges What mountain 1 put into
1:25 - "This is a GOOD option if your hungry"....$15 cheeseburger? Uh not happening...In N Out in Boulder city is 15 minutes away, I think you can wait for a $5 Double-Double Animal Style with fries and drink.
@@ThroughMyLens Yeah you must have driven to the dam either from AZ side of on the "loop" that detours around Boulder City. It is actually a cool little town to visit as thats where all the workers at the dam lived. there is a cool little museum between Boulder City and the Dam just north of Lake Mead. Boulder City also has some neat little diners. NEVER buy food at the Dam...
Have you all looked over at the bridge that china or Korea built I'm not sure which 1 that really long 1 with those white pipes do they look like they match In between all
Wow simply stunning views. Keep up the fantastic work. I didn't know that the dam actually borders two states but very cool views of it and a great video as well keep up the fantastic work good sir.
1:02 - The water level has dropped ANOTHER 12 feet since this video was made a few months ago. Another 30 feet (predicted by June 2023) and electricity will cease to be generated to most of AZ and SoCal.
See I'm a firm believer if we can get the correct rotational spread inside of our material I mean material that we're not going to use right now and we have it layered in the water with like little ball structures that we can offset kind of like the pyramids but we can do different heists and different drops and maybe have multi-layer gravity spreads which could potentially open up and be like streaming light and I think they show really good potential to have control and have separation spreads if it's not needed it'll just sit there and people can live life and it's not going to affect nothing but if all of a sudden out of nowhere we need a hell of a lot more heavier we can run atmospheric depth pressure and we can put it exactly where we want it whenever we want it how we want it and if everything goes correctly if we have the correct gap spreads
the tour is pretty good, but be warned they really cram people into the elevator, like 30 some odd people crammed into one, probably why they stopped doing the tour. It was literally packing sardines into a can. Our tour guide even physically push people into the elevator and ignore the weight limit alarm sort of deal. But obviously before C19. The urinals in the restroom on the dam is cool, so even if you don't need a leak, take a peak.
It has been about 35 years since I've been to Hoover Dam. There were no walkways back then and the water level was much, much higher than it is now. I see that you didn't video yourself throwing that water balloon off Hoover Dam, though. Ha Ha.
haha! Oh man that would be scary to see something like that at the dam. I am sure there are RUclips videos of something like that, hopefully in a controlled setting ha
Like when I look at the Pentagon and I look at their screen and all I sees them playing on technicality computers and still having security problems sitting in our country they're not showing enough rotation gain back into our land I can handle that extracurricular activity can put the extra participation back in that growth cuz we can recycle the rotation spread of how you develop those layers and in the turbines you can produce a spread between the different correspondence of atmosphere gravity and you could probably even develop your states on the inside and how you need them to grow properly or grow unorthodox if something's going on and that's where you're going to take an area
Prior to 911, the tour was a lot longer and they took you to more areas in the dam. The old days you could drive across the dam. Then 911 restricted it. I guess you can again. The water is extremely low now.
There is a sad story about a dog that followed the workers around during most of the construction. It was eventually killed by a moving vehicle and was buried on site in a tomb on the Nevada side.
When traveling on I 11/93 you will not be able to see the dam. If you think this is incredible you need to check out a much dam much larger than Hoover. It’s in eastern Washington State on the mighty Columbia River. Use to be largest dam Hydroelectric dam in the world. Now it’s the largest in North America.
NCR and proud
My grandpa helped build Boulder Dam, now called Hoover Dam. I would love to see it one day. Thanks for the video.
That's so cool! I hope you can visit someday too!
Once they do the tours again you should definitely consider revisiting. The tour is truly fascinating and you get to go deep into the belly of the Dam.
We will! I would love to take a tour some day
Yep, walking that bridge is a thrill. I've been there twice, amazing 👏 😍
Never been there but I love that the Memorial bridge was built. Give a grand view of the construction marvel that was built back in the 1930's.
I did tours of the Dam pre and post 911 and while both tours have excellent behind the scenes views the pre 911 was much more in depth but I have no problem with the new restrictions. So grateful I was able to see it all. Thanks for sharing all your adventures!
Always been fascinated by this dam, the fact that this marvel of engineering is from the early 1930's is amazing.

I hope to do Colorado one of these days for sure!
Always great narration and information!!!

Yea it is crazy low. haha you seemed like you had enough to do on the last trip!
@@ThroughMyLens never enough 😉

I saw that after I got back, I would love to do that next time I go
Native born Arizonan and I never been before. Hope to go one day sounds like so much fun

It is absolutely remarkable. Thank you for awakening the memories... a nice, informative video 👏🌟
Glad you enjoyed it!
My heart dropped when you look down from that bridge but awesome video and channel
It was crazy how high it was!
We just did the tour. Nice and simple. An old friend took us there.
That's an awesome place. The last time I was at the dam that bridge wasn't there. I look forward to another visit.
4:16 - Two people have actually JUMPED from this exact spot on the bridge. SPLAT.........
It is worth visiting with the bridge for sure
Such good views. Really good camera work 🙂🙂
AWESOME!! BEEN many times, but not since the new bridge. Great Video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Def worth goin back with the bridge
I like going somewhere I've never been before and it's always possible with you. Thanks for this trip!
SO glad you like the videos!
One thing that fascinates me about this dam is the emergency spillway of the Nevada side.
The Hoover dam is a good engineering, it has to be restored, configured and designed to work in so many ways. Low water and high water. 2022 onwards
Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing more videos with you and your family and your Dad.
Happy New Year! Much more to come for sure
This place is very cool. I first saw this place on an episode of the rockford files and ever since then I have wanted to see it. Thanks for the cool visit
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just watching gave me the willy's Me along with many others are going to love this video experience.
I know what you mean, it was pretty high up!
Nicely done!!
Too bad you did not get to do the Dam Tour. It's awesome. You actually get to look out one of the vents you see on the face of the dam.
Hopefully I can do that in the future!
Thanks again Josh! Added to the list…
Hope you like it!
Great video
This is the real place in gta sa dam on las venturas i love it❤
Good one thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Love it
'Dam'n good!!!👍👍👍
Thank you.
You're welcome!
I also first visited the Hoover Dam in late 2021. I wonder if we were there on the same day! XD (20 November)
And plus on the mineral spread and on the periodic table of elements there it's multi scattered level so the question is do you coordinate it that way or do you coordinate against it
Thanks.

Oh wow that is crazy, I didn't know that. Yea, you should go back with the bridge it is really cool
Did you range any of them to growth if you're going to cities
We just want to walk across the dam. Where do you park and how much?
Can you do all this and make it to west rim grand canyon to see everything there in one day?
Regarding the water level, I went in 2019 and it wasn't that much different :( Sad to see how low the water is.
Since you did Hoover Dam are you going to do Charleston Peak, the highest point Las Vegas?
Dam it!

Imagine just going to see a dam waste of money never😂

I recommend going somewhere else dont waste your money on this people its really not worth it
Looks boring tbh
haha!
