Excellent work guys especially the video shots. 👍
Spring planting and it looks wonderful. I think the outlook for a bumper crop is in your future. Great camera work Christy.
Great video!
ugh... only 10 mins? Gotta make these Wednesday ones longer. Its a slow day in I.T. at 6am... Great Video. Makes me wish I had a Vinny and Aeravator with overseeder. I do it the old fashion way, fling it and drive over it to press into the ground unless I aerate first.
Sorry. It was just more of the same…decided to cut it short. No major catastrophe, etc.
I like the short form videos sometimes. I don't always have 25 minutes to dedicate to a video
V entertaining and informative!
Great shots of the Aeravator action! The lawn will look very nice in no time!
I live in the same area as GCI Turf and I agree with him about Bermuda grass. It stands up well to hot, dry summers. As long as you don’t mind a brown lawn in winter, it is great. And you can always over seed in the fall with rye which will die off the next summer. Bermuda grows so low, there is a lot less mowing. I keep telling myself if I ever win the lottery, I’m going to get a Ventrac along with all those cool attachments you have. There are so many things I would like to do to improve my lawn with those attachments.
Natural clover means nitrogen missing. If clay soil, lime releases the nutrients already in the soil.
Nice to see Vinnie hard at work. Like to find one, our Community organization has a little league ball field that’s in dire need. The infield base paths are a sad sight.
Christy is so good at getting great video.
If I was not already heavily invested in JD I would have a building full of Ventrac.
That grass is going to look good all green up
That little unit is exactly what I have been looking for but can't find anyting cheaper than $14000 Cdn. at that price I could buy a lot of bales to make up for poor pasture growth.
Great camera work and I am glad you didn't get aerated.
Great camera work !
Nice close up action Christy
Christy, your video shots are outstanding! I’m always curious about of how things work in use, and those shots are spectacular! Looking forward to seeing the progress later this year. Blessings.
Thanks so much! You’re always so encouraging! (Christy)
Dang good camera footage. Yes get rid of the clover and all other weeds. Things are starting to look better.
Good morning from Mississippi. Once again a highly educational and entertaining video.
Stay safe and God Bless.
Signed the Other Tim With Tractors
Done by a professional videographer. So much work for a lawn. Not only can't afford the equipment, don't want to have to mow my lawn every 5 days or so. But nice job.
Ya think Christy is a professional videographer? That is quite a compliment! Thanks!
@@TractorTimewithTimthat scene at 1:34 where your wife was no longer riding on the cart reminded me of this scene from Austin Powers ruclips.net/video/y_PrZ-J7D3k/видео.htmlsi=UBnrhd8-SbWwXDm3
Nice close-up's Christy 👍 The last machine on "Vinny" was that an overhead tiller ?? Good to punch holes with the earovator.. I could use one... very wet here overseas
Great video, content, and commentary! You are the true expert as it pertains to tractor usage, and all other things! Thanks for the update! Liked, Viewed, Shared, Subscribed!
Quite the attachment and overall setup 😎👍🏻
You know, in my teens in the ‘80’s all I wanted was a Lamborghini countach, and now in my 50’s in the 2020’s, I just want a ventrac and all of its attachments, to quote bob dylan times they are changin’ !
Your lawn is coming along. It looks much better with that mound gone. The camera work was great.
Tim, you should let the dandelions grow. You could have a salad with your cheeseburger! 😳😂
Great close up shots
Thanks for another great episode i always get to watch them at least twice once just me and again with the kids rather they watch tractors then the other junk out there
Glad you and the kids can enjoy some wholesome entertainment!
What about organic dirt in the Tacoma Washington area we have what’s called tagro , to help with patchy grass and overseeding
great video, keep up the great work!
don’t mow as often and cut it high. or about half. I try telling my pops leave it alone his ocd kicks in gotta get it done now mode. Especially when it doesn’t rain you’ll kill it. Or you can sing you’ll be sorry.
That’s really looking good Tim and Christy.
Not to correct you but Pete is a Fescue guy and despises bermudagrass. Especially in the winter time.
He just has some at his shop so he can appeal to us who do have Bermudagrass.
I wish we could grow fescue in Louisiana. St.Augustine and bermuda is about as good as it gets.
Heres a no nothing 2 cents worth of opinion.
If this process is working come fall. Try this, maybe before, maybe after. But disc deep and add compost matter and let it sit all winter. Come next spring, smooth it out and overseed.
Now you just need to come 500+ miles and do my back yard.... :)
Tim, Dandelions are a sign of low calcium (lime) in the soil en clover is a natural nitrogen producer. So if you would apply enough nitrogen and lime. Both types of “weeds” will disappear!
A least that’s my understanding and my lawn is clover and dandelion free😃
I spend all my time removing my lawn. :)
Be careful if your lawn looks to good the golfers will show up to play a round 😆 🤣 😂
Any more 4R videos?
Next on tractor time with Tim! Can Tim build a golf green without getting off the tractor and a new accessory a gas grill that can be used while mowing! Lmao…..best advice on RUclips aeration and nitrogen my own looks great this year after doing this. As for the I don’t want this plant(clover) or that plant(dandelions)in my grass if it’s from Monsanto you probably don’t want to put it on your grass. Just remember hopefully one day you have grandchildren and they can pick dandelions or find 4 leaf clovers and bring them back to grandpa so maybe don’t stress out to much or worse let those same grand kids play in Monsanto grass chemical treatments.
👍👍
Looking good, it needs fertilizer and lime...and hope for rain...😅
Pete at GCI got rid of his for the John Deere as it was just too aggressive, don’t know myself as I’ve never used or owned one
He got rid of the agrivator. He replaced it with the aeravator.
@@TractorTimewithTim ok, I just remember one of his vids when he was talking about the agrivator and how strong it was
I remember seeing the video where y’all used the pond water to water the yard, but that was long ago. Who makes the large impact sprinkler shown??
I don’t remember …we mention in that video.
I was able to pause and zoom in enough to read it. BIGsprinkler is the name! 😊
Tim, I have a 2 acre parcel in a corn field, yard is about 1.5 acres excluding garden and trees etc. A few years ago we had moles that have done some damage, as well as septic field settling etc. How would you repair a yard with this much damage? Till it, grade, and re-seed? Or just bring in dirt to fill and grade and then seed?
clicked like !
🇨🇦👍
Tim, I think you are going the wrong way here. I would put down milo and great white myco. That is practically fill dirt and is essentially dead. It will take time for beneficial bacteria and fungi to colonize it. To speed that up put down a source of nitrogen (Milorganite) that requires myco and a source of myco.
Seeding over poor soil this late will be tough.
Anytime you can improve your property while letting RUclips pay for it is pure genius. Far smarted than some of the greatest minds in history. Take Nikola Tesla, he died in poverty, how smart was that? If Tesla only had started a RUclips channel... lol
Sometimes I even surprise myself with these thoughts. I entertain myself.
dutch clover produces nitrogen , dandelion blossoms make sweet jam , and they make good wine
You ever made dandelion jam? It’s a major PITA just to make a small amount. Not worth putting up with the dandelions all summer.
Golf courses do not use that unit they have proven they add to compactiom.not talking about the green.fairways and ruff. You have to pull a plug.
my wife and i have that fight .. you need a grass lawn for property values ... my sheep need a salad ... no monocultures ... blah blah blah ... it all looks better after I mow ...
Holy crap, why would anyone want to waste their life mowing soo much grass. Plant some trees. Why soo much grass?
This man makes his living doing projects with small equipment. He’ll put in grass, take out grass, mow short grass, mow tall grass, dig holes, fill holes, plant trees, cut trees, anything to have something to film. No one here is doing any real landscape architecture. The point is the project itself.
Having a beautiful lawn is more productive than being a negative Nancy on RUclips.
Boring
What the HE**. I've been a subscriber for years. I get on tonight and you're gone from my list. I do a search, and your page says I'm still subscribed. ??? But not on my list. I had to unsubscribe, and resubscribe to get you back on my list. AND, it seem 'they' can't leave well enough alone, and shuffle the order at random. I'd send a nasty gram, but to whom????
On different point. To add to your pond, run a drain from your gutters to the pond. Clean water!!
Welcome back! Thanks for making the effort to resubscribe!
