When you solved the second equation I laughed like a madman in my school's library. You taught me in 3 minutes what my teacher couldn't in 3 weeks.
Brett Harrison LOL my teacher too
my lecturer didn't even teach this omg I might as well stay home and watch these youtube videos, saving tonnes of money fr
Felis Catus facts
its pretty hard teaching a bunch of people having different ways of learning, but yes, this is much simpler to understand
It be like that.
Watching this about 20 minutes before my math test and I think you just saved me a lot of marks. Thanks for clearing up the confusion.
Lol same after a year 😅
u pass bro
In which grade you study,
please reply if you can.
@@singhbhai10 i think
This really ironed out a lot of confusion
True 😔✨
This easy dawg🗣
I'm high as shit and found this, immediately after watching this i tried some old tests from my uni and aced all of the problems. You sir have saved me from failing.
Study high score high
Uni?!?!? Sir we're learning this in 9th grade in my country. Big Asian moment.
@@lilac2698 also grade 9 asian from an asian country here but we're learning the cambridge curriculum so im sure british ppl learn this at our age as well
@@lilac2698 learning in 11th in precalc from the us. pretty easy after the video
@@lilac2698 been doing this shit since kindergarten
Thank you. This really really really helped. I am currently self studying and getting to grips with A-level algebra. This was another piece to the puzzle, so clearly explained.
JazzPianoObsessed soon it be easy af but I’ll forget lmao
I can't thank you enough for this. Synthetic division... I had AP mathematics for two years and I never got the hang of... any of it, really. But your video taught me how to do it like it was nothing. Please keep it up!!!
I found a little mistake. At 5:37 you wrote -6 instead of +6, which prevented you from seeing that -1 was in fact one of the zeroes of the cubic. It doesn't really matter though, your videos are some of the best on this platform and I so appreciate what you do. You're amazing
Was looking for this comment!
I noticed it as well (and felt disgustingly proud about it lol!) and I think it added a lot to the video that he discovered it, adressed it and solved it again with x = -1 and repeating the synthetic division. It really showed that you can reach the right answer(s) in several ways and as long as you're skilled/confident about the method you will eventually get it right.
In which video does he do it can you tell me @@incizor1273
@@philip.stigaard Me too
At first I thought he should remake the video, then I realised how good this video is with keeping the mistake in because it shows that mistakes are easy like typos and you have to be on your game to spot them, which he did.
Agreed. The mistake does a couple other things, along with your excellent point: it extends the video so he shows you how to do synthetic division twice, and how to factor the quadratic polynomial twice. But it also tests you (like it tested me haha) if you're trying to do the work along with him. It's a good way to keep you awake!
Thank you so much I had literally no idea on how to factor cubic polynomials despite watching countless educational videos on the topic, but thanks to your video I finally understand it and *won't* fail my algebra final. Thank you
man you are amazing, i have not seen someone as good as you are in explaining both math and science. thanks a lot, you deserve more recognition than this.
God bless you. You're out here saving lives!
bro im in calc 2 and i always forget how to factor lol
I'll never stop thanking you for helping me with these problems. You're a blessing to me!
You are a hero. Spent 30 minutes searching for videos and this was the best
5:47 _ -1 is a factor you wrote +6 as -6, so you didn't get it! Thanks for your videos!!!
Yeah I notice that
He corrected himself later in the video but it still work he realized what he did but it didn’t matter he still got wrong answer
@@zemtex2323 He did get the correct answer though...
I scrolled for this. -1 is a zero but it's probably good he went on to show other examples anyway
@@EmpyreanLightASMR Feels good that someone got help from me ❤️❤️
I have final exam tomorrow and I was looking for a video explaining how the power 3 work and I found your awesome video explaining how the whole process works,, thanks man
I'm doing that exactly right now.
I love your videos, I recommend your channel to math students all the time and have used your videos a lot for help with calculus. Thank you!
You are an amazing professor. You got me through my hybrid semester. Taught me so much in 10 mins
thanks a lot,I struggled with it a lot but you make my day😄😊keep it up
Great video! And the fact that you corrected your own mistake on factoring out (-1), makes it even better. Thanks friend!
FINALLY A GOOD AND CLEAR EXPLANATION, THANK YOU!
Thank you so much... Your videos really helps me a lot. Especially now that we have online classes, and I can't study everything on my own. So this really helps a lot, thanks again..
Love how he went back and redid the answer for the (-1) just to drive it home, he's the goat.
Thank you so much. The problem you solved after 4:10 is awesome! you know I have been looking for it for a while, searched many many times in many platforms. You made my day!
I have a maths assignment due tonight. I was stuck on a problem involving cubic polynomials. I just saw this and clicked right away. MAN!!!!
YOU SAVED ME TODAY.
Whoever you are....... Thank You!!!!!! You’re brain has helped us all!!
If this had a like for every frustrated minute avoided thanks to this this would be the most liked video on RUclips
Yep, massively agreed
Thanks... I'm currently self-studying 'cause the quarantine and i really have a problem with this type of polynomials so this video is really helpful... Thanks so much..
Hi from 2020 :)

In 2 minutes I already know more than what my teacher has taught me in 2 weeks
Hey thanks man! Just using the first 1:30 mins I was able to solve my problem! Thanks for such a succinct and well explained guide!
Mr. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a monster and fantastic video on Factoring Cubic Polynomial in old fashion Algebra and Pre-Calculus. In the final example, finding your own error is plus for real mathematics and its final solution.
Your channel is my go-to teacher whenever I'm stuck, thanks.
Thanks for this technique on how to factorise a cubic function. Now, I can solve cubic function by this technique.
Dude I love you so much, you cut down my problem time by hours
