    I found a little mistake. At 5:37 you wrote -6 instead of +6, which prevented you from seeing that -1 was in fact one of the zeroes of the cubic. It doesn't really matter though, your videos are some of the best on this platform and I so appreciate what you do. You're amazing

      I noticed it as well (and felt disgustingly proud about it lol!) and I think it added a lot to the video that he discovered it, adressed it and solved it again with x = -1 and repeating the synthetic division. It really showed that you can reach the right answer(s) in several ways and as long as you're skilled/confident about the method you will eventually get it right.

    At first I thought he should remake the video, then I realised how good this video is with keeping the mistake in because it shows that mistakes are easy like typos and you have to be on your game to spot them, which he did.

    • @EmpyreanLightASMR
      @EmpyreanLightASMR Год назад +7

      Agreed. The mistake does a couple other things, along with your excellent point: it extends the video so he shows you how to do synthetic division twice, and how to factor the quadratic polynomial twice. But it also tests you (like it tested me haha) if you're trying to do the work along with him. It's a good way to keep you awake!
