    Apart from the caramelized sugar, it's quite similar to what we from the Caribbean make, but it is called ginger beer. We make it mostly at Christmas time. We also don't add carbonated water though , just plain water. But I am anxious to try your method, looks very interesting. Thanks for sharing

    This drink is packed with antioxidants, I can imagine the beautiful aroma. This is a must to enjoy in this weather. The caramelised sugar is incredible, the tast is irresistible. Hmm Sister Madam never fail.

      @@NanaabasKitchen I'm going to make it all the time now! Also - I just had my wedding and for drinks we served seltzer with many different flavorings, and this ginger ale syrup was one of them :) Everyone LOVED it!!!

    I would try that with coconut palm or date sugar. Hope it would caramelize like that. Looks yummy.

    We drink industrial amounts of store bought ginger ale at our home. I made this recently and I must say it was an eye opener, there is no way we're going back to store bought. This paired with our carbonated water maker (that used to gather dust in a corner) brilliantly. It's so simple to make too. I also made a variant with added mint leaves for extra refreshment (I live in FL and our summers seem to be permanently set to "broiling" mode). Thank you for the video. Subscribed.

    We use to have a big jar inside the fridge all year, during winter is perfect mixed with honey and a bit of curcuma to skip flu! And during summer a perfect and refreshing drink! Thanks for sharing!!! In my receipe I add pineapple with the main ingredients and some infusioned water from boiling the skin of the pineapple. Feel free to try as well! Regards!

      @@NanaabasKitchen for those who want to avoid sugar is perfect, as if you use a sweet pineapple it slightly appears the sweetness and the flavor together with the ginger.

      No honey in this recipe. That was the ginger syrup
