The series S is extremely underpowered in todays market and is starting to be blamed for holding the industry back as games must be developed for both it and its much stronger brother, the series X. Personally imma wait for the next gen and then see how it falls. Im a pc player who has had consoles before but I just don’t see the value as Xbox continues to port their games to pc
I actually thinks that the underpowered consoles isn't holding the industry back, instead it's holding the industry together. Big game company needs to stop giving us poorly optimised games with next gen requirements and last gen graphics...
It no way limits the games. The ps3 and 360 were horribly misconfigured and notoriously hard to build games on in for those days. If games are still being produced for ps4, then there is no excuse for devs to blame the series s.

In windows you jump over everything with a mouse 🐁 . You have Microsoft account and access whatever Xbox offers you can use the Xbox pc controller plus ➕ all pc games that aren’t allowed for consoles.

The Xbox Series X Black is good since it's $449 and the same power/SSD as the white digital version, plus you have a disc drive for physical games or movies. I can also recommend the Xbox Series S 1TB, if you prefer digital games or want to save money, because it's only $50 extra for the original and a lot of games are optimized so it doesn't require more power and you don't have to spend an additional $150 on an expansion card.
