I love your settings for GBC but want my GN green. When I follow your instruction and save core overrides it does it for both. Let me know when you can man, thanks for the amazing content!
Great video! At first i was missing the "options" option ;-) in my quick menu, but i have added it through the interface options. Also the core override option is not exactly the same in my menu. But my real question is why my changes for GBA or GBC seem to be for both each time i try to change them per rom type. I can see they both use a different emulator, so i don't understand how to achieve two separate settings for both rom type. Any ideas? Thnx a lot for your great videos!
It is, but probably hidden. Go to Advanced settings, Appearance and turn on Override options. All my Override and on screen overlay options were turned off for me in the latest firmware 20240118
Honestly the most helpful vid on the RG35XX Plus I've seen since I got one. Do you (or does anyone reading this) have a recommendation for a case? I bought one that I read was good but it was way too small and I didn't want the buttons constantly getting smashed, especially with cords in there too. Thanks!
Thanks. The original case for the RG35XX works perfect for the Plus. But it's not available on regular site but you can buy directly from anbernic or aliexpress. I went to Walmart in the electronics and saw a Maxell case that honestly fits it pretty well, I can even put my charger above my console and it fits great. It’s pretty sturdy for 10 bucks
Hey! You added a cut in the video where you ended up in the options section for the core that saves the display for all games in that core. I notice I don’t have that option
If it helps anyone else, I was able to turn the options on by going to -settings -user interface -menu item visibility -quick menu -show ‘options’ (set to ON)
hey javi 2 questions, do you know how to have one file display for saturn games? i have a bin and cue file both show up , also any idea where to put sega cd games so that they display?
Don't use bin and cue. Use chd its much better. That way you only have one file. Also I don't know about sega cd. I'm still on the old firmware there should be a folder for it though.
@lancb I actually got you answer its MDCD. Sorry i didnt have my sd card with the new firmware on it so i had to look through my video. Hope this helps
@@JaviPlayRetro mGBA has some audio hiccups for me, everything runs smoothly performance wise otherwise. I see why people were complaining about Anbernic's inconsistent quality.
I had the same issue all you gotta do go to settings -> retrosarch settings-> start retrosarch -> settings->user interface -> menu visibility-> quick menu -> show save core overrides
For gbc you should use folder override as gb is also using the same core

@spiderguy252000 save content directory overrides. Sorry I shouldve mentioned this as the Gameboy and Gameboy Color share the same emulator

Same thing with garlic os on the standard 35xx i use the lcd ghosting for gb gbc gba game gear neogeo pocket
This will work pretty much on any handheld with retroarch with the same screen.

Thanks that helped alot for the Saturn games folder, now just to find the Sega cd folder
@lancb you can put it them in MD for Genesis, but you'll have to launch them through sega Genesis, not Sega CD if Anbernic made an icon for it.
