What was funny to me, was that I wasn’t sure I had a clue what I was doing! I put the pieces in place n all a sudden it gave the glow, and I’d beaten it. I was like, “uhhhh, what did I even just do!” Pure luck. Lol

I think they are against Dale, because on the chess game Dale was on another side. But they were trying to help him, that's why they asked "did you make the right choice?".
Mr. Crow and Mr. Owl are against each other. Mr. Crow invites Dale to fight again Mr. Owl. Mr. Owl wants to use Dale to control the lake and be “really” enlightened.

भविष्य = future (Bhavishya)
प्रेत = dead body (Pret)
अतीत = past (Ateet)

प्रेत does refer to the dead (body as well as beings) in Marathi though. The Sanskrit origin means प्र इत = the departed, gone forth.
मृत शरीर is a correct translation as well. Marathi newspapers too use प्रेत word frequently.

I just kept tapping at his parents bc I wanted to hear their voices as much as possible before they die eventually. And when I had to make the Rabbit shoot them again I cried so hard :'((
I played this yesterday and it was a coincidence when the mom and dad said "Happy Birthday son!" because it was actually my birthday. And I don't really have a good connection with my mom and dad. So I think i dropped my tear when i read that. This was my last game that I finished from Rusty Lake. Thank you for making this!

Vanderboom means "from the lake" in Dutch. Mr. Deer in the Rusty Lake Hotel, he is the one who has very specific interest in the lake itself. In the hotel game, Mr. Deer says "I'm more of a meat guy" when you hold him a glass of shrimp cocktail. The thing Mr. Deer wants in the Hotel game is also about alcohol. And if you read it, you can see he has alcohol abuse in Dale's psychological evaluation. And if you think about it, Albert Vanderboom is given wine as a baby in Rusty Lake Roots and he wears the Deer mask. And in the White Door game, Dale appears with the deer mask in Robert Hill's perspective. Now you get a glimpse of it.

@@twilbry7807 Okay hold on, there is a tv channel at the end of the game,726, and you have to restart the chapter to use it, when you play it, it shows a deer skull-wearing guy pulling a string from a doll or something like that, apparently, it also shows a body of a man that was shot in the head. Now, according to someone else, that man is Robert Hill, and according to you, Robert was visited by Dale wearing a Deer mask. I haven't played all of the games so I am attempting to piece the story together to the best of my abilities.

The drawing in the book helps you determine the direction of the room relative to a giant clock face the size of the room. Then observing the window, the number of the minute hand with the corresponding hour hand on the window, also corresponds to the numerical position on this giant clock in space.

Did anyone else find a hidden TV number inside where you take the blue drink? You need the magnifying glass to look, it says "TV 726" but you can't use the TV until you basically restart the chapter.. so after I finished the game I went back to chapter 2 and went to channel 726...and what it showed was a man with the dear skull looking at you and pulling what looks like a string from a dummy....then it shows Dale dead with a gun shot to the head 🧐😳

I found that too but I had no idea what it meant, also for some reason mine doesn't have a dead person, it just shows the skull guy and then it turns into static. I am new to these games so I am still trying to figure out what is going on.

One of the better chapters and well designed. But the Clock puzzle and Chess puzzle are the most confusing ones in the entire series.
I still don't know how the clock would work. I just tried every possible time and got through it. What would be the right way to find the solution?

I understood the clock puzzle but that chess game had me stumped...
In both chapters I saw the clock and just brute force my way for it to work instead of actually doing the puzzles like I was supposed to

What i understood is that the detective had suffered an extremely traumatic experience with the death/murder of his parents, so he constructed an unknown dark self who was also a murderer. He killed this girl and then he could not remember it so he was actually investigating upon himself. But i might be wrong
William Vanderboom, actually, blue cube let you travel to the past AND to the future (remember CE: Seasons).
Фонд Спидвагона in Seasons blue cube was used to change the past (1964 and 1971) but in 1981 the protagonist of the game know how to change the past, so I think Dale can use Golden Cube for travel in the future and tell to the character of cube escape seasons how to change the past

Felipe Barreto isn’t paradise before hotel? I’m really bad at times but mr owl is in hotel so I supposed that. I believe it was not mr rabbit on the island. In hotel and other games, they are half animal half human, but in paradise they are just humans with masks on. I believe the same animals might be showing something, it’s just I don’t get it. I think it is because Catherine’s experience, Jacob can become mr owl. I’m not really sure about this part to be honest... that’s just a guess.

Just my guessing. Based on the picture, deer indicates 12, windows mean 6. Then cabinet is 9 and door is 3 in the clockwise order. Globe could be somewhere between 9 and 12 (so 10 or 11), then you can guess 11 according to the location?

It means when you stand in the middle of the room. Different things around you is like in a clock. If, for instance, you face to north and see the deer head and it's 12, then the door against it is at your back, so it's 6

Mr. Crow: burps out art
While a big fan of both puzzle games and "reveal the character's dark secrets" narratives, this was my first play of a Rusty Lake game and I loved it. Like being dropped into a David Lynch movie. By the end I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be the characters or the players suffering the biggest mind-bleepery, but judging by the comments pointing to the history of this franchise I'm pretty sure it's the characters.
The puzzles are almost perfectly balanced IMO. Across both chapters I only had to use the walkthroughs three times (unusual for me for this genre; I become frustrated quite easily) and two of those led to instant face-palming when I realised how close I'd been to the solution. The final one -- the clock puzzle in Chapter 2 that has so many comments here -- I still feel is slightly too obtuse. Given sufficient time and self-control I *might* have figured it out on my own, but it's also possible I'd have given up at this point without assistance. At one point I even thought it might be a partial red herring because the door symbol on the shutters has the lock on the left while the actual room door in Chapter 2 has it on the right. Unless that's a deliberate choice for a reason I'm missing, it might be worth patching that so that others don't do what I do and start seeing clues that aren't there. It needs to be absolutely clear that the door in the image refers to the door in the room.
The bravest choice IMO was the tower defence game. I absolutely *detest* tower defence games so my heart sank when I realised what was going on there. I nearly turned the iPad off in disgust, and for the briefest of moments it looked as though the towers might have to be re-positioned *during* the gameplay, which would have caused immediate defenestration of my iPad. Fortunately there is a layout (possibly more than one) that will permit victory with no re-positioning, so it only took me about five runs. In retrospect the balance is probably about right on that one, at least for me, but as I said it was a brave choice. I'm sure there must be people who love puzzle games but hate tower defence even more than I do. I hope they make it past the brain puzzle. I guess there's always the walkthrough.
I'll definitely look into more of the RL games. Overall I'm really impressed with this one.

Can somebody explain how he solved the clock? I tried to find any relation between the window and the clock but I couldn't. I just know that x means minute hand and o means hour hand
I think the book suggests that the center of the clock is the center point of the goat face and the table. From there we can determine the hour hand and the clock hand. The right window is quite easy to solve, but the left one is very tricky: you need to view the room upside-down to figure out the answer
@@TuanAnh-hc1nm I think the book shows the window (to make the link between the clock, the goat, and the window), not a table. Even if we can think of a table with chairs seen from the upside, there is no such a table with chairs anywhere.
You have to treat the room as a clock, with the moose statue at 12( given in the book), next room is 3, then 6 (window also given in book), then 9.
I just tired every time possible on the clock and it worked quite fast 😂

After reaching the end of chapter 2... I realise that the corrupted soul is detective himself... if we use these concept in all the cube escape games...that when detective is trying to solve the case he himself (corrupted soul) is trying to kill himself (detective)... how confusing it becomes...

People seem to be having trouble with the clock. The Deer head is meant to be treated as the 12 on the clock with the window at 6 - this is what the book on the shelf is telling us. The window has two pairs of pictures on the shutters each with a cross and dot pairing representing the hands on the clock. There is the Deer head with a cross representing the minute hand pointed at twelve, this is matched with the dresser with the dot representing the hour hand pointed at the three. The second pairing has the door with a cross (minute hand 9) and a globe with a dot (hour hand 11).
How is the door 9 minute?
I still don't get it. Is my brain broken?

Damn, I spent hours to solve it, and in the end I realized that I didn't get the achievements... Another day I'll try. It's a wonderful game!
Is there a way so you can collect these achievements just by playing for the first time? The same here, I didnt get any achievement, but, how could we never click one before by pure luck or coincidence? I guess its just in the second time

It’s totally worth the money if you haven’t played it yet, but try getting all the achievements on your first try in Rusty Lake’s Hotel!!! Lol. If you do one little thing out of order, like go to a guest’s room before a certain other guest, you can’t go back in that room again. N then later u find out you are screwed getting achievement, cuz u need an ingredient that comes from a room you already went to. It’s a trip, and it would be only pure luck to do it perfectly the first time (without an ‘all achievements walkthrough’ obviously), cuz it such a non-linear game.
Since I can’t pay to do it myself... HERE I AM 😂
I loved this chapter, not too hard, not too easy. Just perfect. The story still confuses me lol.

I think that was just an error from developers, cause dale's parents were killed in his nineth birtday
It's their mistake. They just fix it, that's why in the game it's 9th and 9th is correct

Great Game. I can't reslove some problems so I came here LOL In fact, Dale's birthday dream of grandpa saving the whole family always makes me sad. This time he is always told that his soul was corrupted. Peolple in Rusty Lake and Cube Escape Sereies have reallly miserable and tragetic lives.
I had to watch this video to figure our the chess board section. Even watching it i still don't get how to work our why the pieces were moved like that. Cool game though! Now I've finished it I've downloaded all the rest of them to try.

Rusty Lake I have great desire to know if there will be a new game of cube escape paradox or a chapter 3, I say this because in the movie there is a third bottle but in the game does not exist, and a question I really want to know the answer

For all I know, this is the last game in the cube escape series... And you can get the actual green bottle in the first chapter, is part of an alternative ending ;)

That part was way too complicated for me. I saw all the clues but couldn't piece them together. I just tried everything until all 3 were open. That and the chess board were the only pieces that stumped me in paradox.

I keep getting out of order with my items so i get lost where i am at. So I'm glad i found these vids to help me figure out where to go next
I LOVE these games, and I’ve played through ALL of them (besides Hotel, Paradise, and Roots SO FAR) without ANY hints/walkthroughs UP UNTIL THE DAMN “CHESS” PART IN THIS GAME!!! I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FIGURE OUT WHERE THEY ALL GO BEFORE THE SYMBOLS APPEAR!!! IT’S FRUSTRATING THE HELL OUT OF ME!!! But I love the games. Just...that one part...
That one is....either tricky or irritating. There are actually multiple solutions, but the clue is in the red arrows (and this game's obsession with 5s). You can't line up any of the pieces so they're on the same row or column as any other piece, or diagonally from any other piece. The anti-clue that helped me was that there *wasn't* anything else, so it had to be something solvable without anything besides the arrows (also going back and looking at their initial position). Technically speaking, there are multiple solutions, which makes it doubly frustrating,.
You got the clock part but not the chess part? You just put the statues so there is only 1 statue in each colum and row

ok so the part where the windows open and show the clock symbols and use the "guide to mental health" book to somehow understand that the clock is supposed to be at 3 o'clock. i've looked at it for so long and i literally CANNOT put together how you would come to that conclusion??? am i stupid or something cause its fruuuustrating
