For me he just spawned standing up and when I approached he started attacking me, spewing fire, doing a roar that sounded like a toddler having a tantrum? After that we just decided to not negotiate any further since I was shivering in my timbers from greyoll standing up. I have the footage but my mic was set to the wrong source so you can only hear my friend in the clip if you want it.

I've learned so much from this channel. Pvp has a lot of ins and outs I've gotten the hang of, but this more in-depth stuff is really helpful. Love the vids

I've been watching videos from you lot for awhile now and if there's one thing I've noticed is your disdain for glitched attacks or exploits yet in this video, you're CLEARLY exploiting the hitbox of the knights greatsword in a way that was not intended. Funny that. You can sugarcoat and explain it away with whatever logic you want but the fact remains that the greatsword is NOT meant to be used in the way your using it as its designed and balanced to allow players to roll out after the first hit as you explained at the start of this video. By using it in this unintended way(albit simply turning right) you're exploiting the weapon's hitbox to create a true combo where one should NOT be possible. Talk about hypocritical. :/
I'm a big fan of this stuff. It's a solid punishment for forgetting that spacing matters in this game. Still, I like that spacing isn't the only thing that matters anymore - reminds me of DS2, where you'd have to be pretty careful with your moveset's hitbox limits and you'd have more decent options for breaking neutral.
Everyone will hate this one because lol god forbid people have opinions (especially opinions based around facts) but if anything, this moveset does kind of feel like it's just borked. Swinging your weapon 90 degrees to the side to use the hitbox that activates earlier than it should, leaving you not even looking at your opponent in any way, doesn't look or feel good. It feels like manipulation of poorly designed hitboxes and looks incredibly absurd to the point of it seeming unskillful but more like the KGS user is actually abusing something unintended. This looks like if shield pokers had active hitboxes on the pullback after the forward thrust but I'm sure everyone who thinks the KGS's hitbox abuse is okay would call bs on this example because there's nothing warranting any of the thrusting weapons having a hitbox on the shield poke pullback despite there being no reason for the early KGS moveset frames to be there either. The extremely early frames of the active KGS moveset wouldn't be enough to REALLY injure the target, cuts through thin or no armor maybe, but someone heavily armored isn't getting hurt from that so from a game design standpoint, it's illogical which is why it looks and feels like an exploit. If the early frames are intended, they were a terrible decision.
I usually dont like big swords. But in Elden Ring I liked this one. The moveset is more elegant. This was my sword for the last 6 bosses of the game, including Mallenia. I used it with Electrify Armament + Sword dance

excellent weapon for arena duels. however against gankers this weapon is really not great. And this goes for the majority of ER greatswords because of crappy tracking. it will never be worth DSlll's claymore.
Loved this moveset since DS2. The Hollow Slayer in DS3 was so good, it made me cheat on my waifu Baemore. Sorry luv, it too has pokes but its R1's are better, what did want me to do? Plus it deals 20% more damage to hollows which are most of the mob enemies and even some bosses like Gael.

I might be a bit early. I also found out greyoll has a moveset, I revived him and all of a sudden he was standing up and started attacking me.

Genuine question wouldn't a DEX build have a higher AR than a STR build for the Knight's Greatsword?
Does it really provide hyperarmor? I have 115 poise and I still get staggered during attacks. I could just be doing it wrong though.

When I started my 1st playthroughs I used an ash of war on Godrick's knight's swords that did a 5 hit combo, that was really devastating 😂😂
