- Plan B for today given the weather.. A horrible wet day so a diversion to Doncaster station to see the locos, light engines and class 91's passing under the cover of the station concourse in the dry.
Generally a quiet day however some moves back and forth between Barnetby and Decoy including a few graffitied MGR's! Also 66730 returning the Whitemoor RHTT rigs back to York Thrall after the recent seasons leaf busting.

The class 91 still looks amazing all these years later
And would look even better if they painted the front buffer skirts
The same white colour
Do love the 91’s.
Nice footage.
Thank you for braving that awful weather to bring us this collection!
No probs - That was a wet day to say the least..!
The 91s look amazing. 👍🏻
Doncaster is my favorite station. Thanks.
the class 91 seems to be refurbished and the wagonsets as well. Thank you for your video under rainy conditions ! Greetungs from Germany ! Happy NEW YEAR !
well done, very good
Great video! I was here yesterday! 👍
Excellent video as always 👍
The new location cards are looking good too 👍
Thanks - Hopefully some additional new graphics on the way soon also 👍
Credit where it's due to LNER for those 91s and full rake of coaches in that livery. Looks and sounds amazing. Next time any chance of a quick close-up of the black shunter in the yard? (if it's still there)
The 08 is still there and active - I’ll keep an eye out for it next time I’m there 👍
I made this 225 likes for a 225 train in the video. Thanks for sharing!
No probs! Thank-you for watching 🙏👍
Ah I see those 47's look rough as ever
Screaming out help they are unfortunately 🤯🫣
was there today swell, caught 91111 and the light 66 before me and a mate popped to Rails of Sheffield to pick up a 37 each
Well done - It was good to be under the station canopy and out of that rain! 🌧️
That's a decent zoom on your camera. The 47s are in a sorry state,
That pair are sadly abandoned - Hopefully a use can be found for either ongoing albeit it’s looking unlikely.
Beautiful loco's should be kept in service many more years ,not scrapping them.
They will be in service several more years, the replacements have barely been planned
Another cracking video well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on RUclips bye for now Philip
Is that ol' 47714 still in Anglia livery in the works? And is that an ex Fragonset 47 being sanded down?
Yes that’s 47714.. I don’t think anyone has touched either of these locos now in a long time sadly.
What are those 466s doing there?
The 466 is there for regular maintenance but the 465/2 carriages behind it are there as parts donors, I believe the carriages are from 465235 or 465250
What.
No 67 thunderbird.
The West Coast 47’s/57’s are responsible now based at Newark.
What are those 2 class 47's
they look pretty ratty. Have definitely seen better days.
703 and 714. Not worked a train in years.
@@russb2286 Haven't even moved. I just Googled them and the first hit is a photo of them in exactly the same place, in January 2023.
