Always a pleasure passing the depot when coming into Derby. Best part is seeing the class 37s I never know which side of the train to look out of. I remember years ago a few old Gatwick express carriages that had been left on the sidings for years.
Another fantastic video 👍 Fair play to you with your commitment and determination this year. Your channel has excelled. I’ve followed you for most of the year and enjoyed viewing your footage Keep up the great work 👍
Brilliant footage .I too am really enjoying your drone videos. What I would have given for drone technology in the 1980's , lost count of how many times I was asked to leave TMD's back in the day! Was wondering if York would be on your list for the future?
Certainly one that you can't see at all well from the ground so great that you've been able to capture the area. So, where are you when you send the drone up? How far away?
This footage was filmed in full compliance to current CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations for drone usage (Nov-22).

I love these aerial shots. Great footage. Thanks for sharing. 👍
No probs - Glad you liked it 👍
Tractor Overload, so many in one location! Well Done.
Really enjoying these flyovers. They're particularly interesting when there of a depot/yard that you can't get a decent view of from lineside
Thanks Nick.. Agreed - Those are def the most interesting ones.
It's a massive site. Another amazing unique insight. Thankyou again. These are brilliant.
I have always wondered what was behind the scenes at derby RTC, great video here 👍
Great video 👍
I always like going past Derby RTC on the train, as you normally get loads of heritage traction stabled there
Another Winner! Excellent.

@@trainsplanes yes pal. I’m sure we will meet eachother at some point 👍
good stuff, surprised you didn't cover the carriage works as well in one go.
Battery, range and visibility reasons for that. 👍
Used to go round Derby works quite often
Cracking video mate, keep the coming
Cheers Chris 👍
Very impressive video.
Nice video mate
They look like model trains from this view
The best one yet!
I've built a model railway layout based upon the RTC site. Quite a few vids on 'tube under Deadmans Lane

Hi Steve, there’s a few spots you can take footage from at the perimeter fence line.
lovely video. do you have to get permission to fly your drone above these depots or can you just do it
Hi Ben, different types of drones have different requirements.
Did you get all the numbers 👍😂
Haha! I wish 😜👍
At least 4 class 37s i counted
There is 9 at 3:31 if you look closely
