You know it’s a stacked list when Emmitt’s single rushing game record, TO’s return to Philly, the Bounty Bowl, or 44-6 does not make the list
Absolutely, there are so many games that could have made this compilation. The NFC east is obviously down this year, bunch of flawed teams but when things are going well everyone in the division is a rivalry. Cowboys against everyone in the division, same with everyone in the division. The closest division to match this is probably the , NFC north.

Best rivalry in the NFL. There are no two other teams in the NFL who hate each other more than the Eagles and the Cowboys. Older Cowboy fans might say Cowboys - Redskins, but in the last 30 years, the Eagles and Cowboys have been a WAY bigger rivalry.

L. Y and he's a righty running to his left with a throw across his body. He was underrated by eagles fans. He had a lot of injuries though..
Sam kogan i always argue with fellow Eagles fans about McNabb. I tell them all the time if he wouldve had a good receiver, not an elite one like TO, but a good one for most of his career and not the garbage ones he had, he couldve won us 2 super bowls. You dont make it to the SB or 4 straight nfc championships by accident. He was that good. And then once Desean came along, he went back to the nfc championship game that first year. And by that time, all his injuries caught up to him. And despite throwing 3 or 4 interceptions in the SB and the Patriots cheating, we only lost by 3. With TO playing on a broken ankle. He needed some work on intermediate throws, but damn his Bombs were always on point
If McNabb was QB for the Eagles in the early 90swith that great defense, we would have won a Super Bowl or two back then. Cunningham was just never consistent and never delivered in the playoffs.

Other notable games included 1989 "Bounty Bowl" when Dallas accused Buddy Ryan of putting bounties on star Dallas players, 1974 MNF Eagles pull huge upset on last minute kick, and 1966 56-7 Dallas win where Eagles accuse Dallas of cheap shots and Eagles win 24-23 at home a few weeks later.
Outside of the Bears vs. Packers, this is my favorite rivalry in the NFL

Buddy took no prisoners. He was a SOB but he was our SOB and made watching football entertaining as hell.
Buddy was the most savage of all the savage coaches. He hated the Cowboys more than anyone ever in Philadelphia. He is one of the most beloved coaches in Philly history and he never even won a championship in Philly.
I agree he is a savage but this video doesn't give the greatest context. Basically he thought that the Cowboys ran up the score against the Eagles in their first game of the year when players were going on strike. Most of the players playing for the Eagles were not starters, but the Cowboys had way more starters and destroyed the Iggles. So it is payback

Let me preface this by saying that I am 38 years old so I was not at the 1980 championship game. That being said, my family has had season tickets to the Eagles since 1970. I grew up going to games. The vet was never louder or more intense than it was on the day of the 4th and one game. Those two 4th and ones at the end of the game were so loud and the reaction was incredible. We sat in section 254 which was on the side with the pull-out bleachers. I've never felt the stadium literally sway and rock like it did that day

The reason I hate the cowboys is because they were named America's team when the Eagles should have been. I mean, what represents America more than an eagle. And let's not forget Philly is where America was born as well. But I guess it's not about symbolism but who has the most money. Cowboys are the most expensive team but has gone 20+ years without a superbowl appearance. So money isn't everything in football.
