    That 61 yard field goal got us to a Super Bowl. Thank you Jake!

    Down 31-10 and came back on the road with 8 minutes left. I'd say the 2010 one is the best of the five.

    • @Neotenico

      Joe O'Malley As a full game, definitely. But as far as miraculous plays go, i feel like the OG miracle was the most freak, improbable thing to happen.

    I was at the 2010 game don't care what anyone says but that comeback was way better than a giants fail in 1978.

      Skl418 the reason the fail was the best one was because it was literally out of the giants hands.

    • @joshlewis575
      @joshlewis575 5 лет назад +1

      Half the 4th quarter at that! I never looked up the win probability for the giants b4 the eagles made it 14. But I'm sure it was 99.98 99.99%. Craziest comeback I've ever seen in the nfl

    • @arachnido9827
      @arachnido9827 5 лет назад +1

      I agree. But the reason people say 1978 was the best because the quarterback wanted to do a Play Action but fumbled the ball.

    6:09 What a perfect block that was by Jason Avant on Zak DeOssie, the last Giant w/ any chance to prevent the game winning TD. Avant actually gave himself a concussion on the play.

    • @xbacongrizzler6929
      @xbacongrizzler6929 23 дня назад

      Sad thing is everyone forgets that block from Avant, but that made it possible for Jackson to score.

    • @threerings1345
      @threerings1345 8 дней назад

      @@xbacongrizzler6929 He'd be flagged for a personal foul today. As of last year if you're in front of a runner on any play and take even a half-step backward to make a block, it's now a penalty. Some of these rule changes seem targeted at excitement rather than safety. The kicking team will more likely get hit by a blimp than recover an onside kick.

    I will never forget the 2010 miracle, everyone has gone to bed except me cause everyone assumed Philly was gonna lose, and ill admit i had my doubts, but i held strong and kept watching, and im so glad i did because i had the pleasure waking everyone back up when i was jumping up and down yelling and cheering, when everyone came running out of their rooms i told them that the Eagles came back and won, they were all like no way and i said go look at the TV!!! That was a great game!!! #BIRDGANG4LIFE FLY EAGLES FLY!!!!

    2010 was the best one I’d say. DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick turned around a shocking game with two sworn enemies in the NFL. It was 24-3 at half. It was 31-10 in the 4th quarter. But in just EIGHT MINUTES, Michael Vick turned the whole game around and DeSean Jackson finished it off. Simply UNBELIEVABLE. Second best? I’d say 1978. #FlyEaglesFly
    Edit: 5:59 I could watch over and over. Unbelievable.

      Actually kneeling WAS standard at that time....
      There was a change after Miracle in the Meadowlands in the FORMATION -- that when the QB kneeled( or at that time, went down) they added a 3rd guy standing in back of the QB kinda near where a punter wud stand. Til then, that wasn't done.

    To this day, I can't believe Tom Coughlin was more angry at his punter than with his defensive coordinator after the 2010 game.
    In the 1978 game, IIRC, the Giants had kneel on the play before 'the miracle' and got upset when Bill Bergey and the middle of the defense pushed the center on top of Pisarcik. The Giants attempted a hand-off in an effort to run burn the defense. It backfired.

      His career only lasted one season, but I bet anything that play haunted his short career, possibly lost his confidence in playing after that. Matt Dodge had troubles with getting his head in the game after he got released by the Giants. Sadly he’ll go down in infamy forever for making that punt right to DeShaun Jackson instead of away from him as the plan was supposed to be.

      SEVEN touchdowns?!? As an Eagles fan, that would be great...the score doesn't sound right, or there would be videos regarding the Giants blowing a 42-point lead in the 4th quarter. Besides, if the Eagles game winner was within a few seconds of time up, the goalposts would have been torn down, if this game was at the Linc.

      In the first Eagles-Giants 1960 game, the Eagles came back to take a lead, but the win was clinched by Chuck Bednarek's big-time hit on Frank Gifford, separating him from the football AND his senses, and a defensive lineman for the Eagles, Chuck Weber, recovered the ball.

BTW, due to the still-in effect local blackout, the game wasn't seen in Philly, unless you had a VERY good antenna, and could tune to NYC's Channel 7, WABC.
