Jeff brown go back and watch how many of his completions came against Ryan and Badamosi. These guys couldn't stay within five yards of the guys they were "covering". Belichick's decision to bench Malcolm Butler was the single most determining factor of that game. Seemed like he wanted to prove something to Butler. maybe "we can win without you" I don't know, and in N.E. nobody who knows is talking. Ryan was a backup all year and Badamosi was a special teams player. Foles played a great game but most fans in N.E. believe if Butler had played, even if BB had swallowed his pride and put Butler in for the second half, the end would have been different. It is generally felt that it affected the whole defense. That said, congrats to Eagles, only took a year for Pats to get back to where they belong.
Yeah, I remember going to the Eagles games up in the nosebleed section at Veterans Stadium back in the mid 70's, watching Roman Gabriel quarterback. Watch this video every now and then. I miss living in Philly but still a fan.
G Wark Heck, Seth Joyner, Ron Jaworski, Clyde Simmons.. to just name a few. So many former players deserve a part of it. That ‘91 defense was one of the best of all-time. Problem was the Redskins were even a better all-around team that year.
The amount of injuries this year kills. We have a practice squad secondary, and Michael Jenkins is the only one standing. And we also lost so many in our o line, and lost RB’s too.
Look, if they can get Golden Tate from Detroit, why can't they get Blount back from them, too? I miss Blount like anything. Can you imagine this offense with the WR and the RB's once Ajayi comes back?? Then if we can bolster up the D, this team with be SB bound again. Between the injuries and the SB hangover, it's been a slow start. But hopefully, not anymore!

Not saying he didn’t just saying it’s obvious ever since Foles took over wentz became a different kind of dude and teammate. Then Foles does it again in 2018 except this time wentz sucked that season and Wentz went full blown cry baby.
I love how Doug covers his mouth when he says that his thought process is "that we're gonna score a touchdown". As if Bill Belichick is standing on the other side with binoculars reading his lips. Can't let him know that we're planning on scoring a TD, lol. What a coach man, so aggressive, playcalls on point. Hope he can recreate something like the season we had last year.

I hate seeing Carson Wentz after the injury, he hasn't been the same without the escapability. MVP lock, 10-1 start, and then torn acl. Wentz was amazing and it don't happen without him. Get off his back haters. We got a SB from him and Nick.
love the guy but his injury is a result of his own playstyle. doesn't know when to let a play go or play safe. All his injuries are from him trying to make something out of nothing. torn acl was on a diving touchdown in a game we were already up and secured the division. completely unnecessary
I still like Carson Wentz. And appreciate what he did here. I wish things had turned out differently obviously and we got lucky with Jalen, but will always appreciate the roll he in delivering the Eagles first Super Bowl. Without him, we don't have a ring now.

I'm a Pats fan, and I absolutely hate that we lost the Super Bowl. That said, if we had to lose, I'm glad it was the Eagles that beat us. I watched Carson Wentz his rookie year and, despite his struggles, I told my brother (a Giants fan) that Wentz was a talented young quarterback and that the Eagles are a team to watch. He saw the 16 touchdowns and 14 picks and told me I was crazy. In Wentz's sophomore year, he was nothing short of electrifying. I watched Carson Wentz escape sacks and make ridiculous throws while my jaw hung open like an idiot. I truly felt like I was watching the next great quarterback in the NFL, along with Deshaun Watson. I look forward to watching the Eagles again this year, I just hope it's not a Super Bowl rematch, because I don't want to lose again!
Much respect man, why can’t all Pats fans be like this? I hope you guys can win another super bowl sometime. (not against us I hope though) Either way thanks man, this super bowl meant so much to me.
Honestly, the Super Bowl was just icing on the cake and a necessity to cap off a magical season. The wins against the Giants in week 3, the Carolina game, the Minnesota Championship game, and in LA for me were the four most fulfilling and exciting. I don't see people mention this much, but Carson Wentz had the best QB season in Eagles history up until his injury, breaking the All-time TD record on 1 leg (33 TD's) in only 13 games and leading them to their best record through 12 and 13 games since 1960, which was their last championship. The SB was a great game, but the Eagles' season was the best and most special ever seen. I never remember really believing they could win it all like in 2017 by the 3rd or 4th week. The Terrell Owens 2004 year comes close, but McNabb was always inconsistent. With Wentz and the way he was playing, along with the veteran leadership of Long, Blount, and Torrey Smith, you knew they could do it.
It was a special season because they won the title. Wentz would’ve folded up in the playoffs and is a loser that will never amount to anything. That man will never win a playoff game.
@@GuitarGangsterArmi Yeah, Went wasn't a loser, man. He tore 3 ligaments in his knee that game but singlehandedly led the team to an 11-2 record in his prime before that. The '17 Eagles were everything I'd hoped for for an Eagles team my whole life. A bunch of classy warriors. A team with no real weaknesses. They could run the ball, throw the ball, play good defense and were the total package. Not necessarily great at anything, not an '85 Bears caliber defense or a '99 Rams caliber offense, but deep and solid from top to bottom. With a little less bad luck with injuries and if things had not soured between Wentz and Pederson they might have become a dynasty.

as a cowboys fan i got to say im proud of you guys it's like watching my lil brother grow up and succeed and it's sweeter that you guys beat the Patriots i hate them so good jobs guys.
Brought me to tears watching this. That season brought so much happiness into my life. I keep that happiness going by reminding myself I’m not a die hard lions fan
I knew this team was special once we beat the panthers. The eagles had 10 penalties for 110 yards and the panthers had 1 penalty for 1 yard on a 2pt conversion. Winning that game despite getting hosed by the officials showed me that this team has what it takes to win it all. Boy did I cry like a baby when we won!

I ALWAYS LOVED NICK FOLES. ever since we drafted him. im so glad he came back from a qb that know one gave a chance and he helped us become philly legend. btw after we drafted carson wentz i wrote on my facebook saying we will win the superbowl within 3 years. so i had the same vision as doug.
The Eagles were part of my childhood. I grew up with McNabb and Westbrook. One of my earliest memories is running around with a plastic Eagles helmet on during their training camp. This team was a culmination of a childhood of unconditional love for this franchise. Fly Eagles Fly!!!
I cried mostly for the people who died that never saw it but I did and I cried it was a pure bliss moment when that confetti came down how long me and everyone in the city and around it have been waiting for it and the way it happened just ugh can’t make it up love my city and the eagles that give it all
I still cry. My dad passed 1 year before this exactly and he took my mom to every home game. I was with a house of 32ppl watching the game and crying. Not much can beat that day. We just left the grave and everyone was there. We took to broad street and hugged everyone, Amazing day.

It's 2022 and this is still the greatest superbowl ever. Most combined yards in any game in NFL history; lead changes seemingly every drive; trick plays all over the place, including one for a crucial touchdown; game is up in the air right down to the last tick; all the drama of a david vs goliath matchup, all the drama of an underdog win. There are other superbowls that come close, but none that fully reach this level of Hollywood perfection.
Still waiting for a movie to be made about the 2017 Eagles 🦅 and the most incredible Super Bowl ever played! Why hasn't it been made yet!?!? A movie about the most epic underdog story! Praying we get another ring this year!

as a cowboys fan i got to say im proud of you guys it's like watching my lil brother grow up and succeed and it's sweeter that you guys beat the Patriots i hate them so good jobs guys.
Cowboys haven’t been relevant in 24 years. The Birds are.
Bill Thomas Eagles suck lol
This year we are winning our second super bowl Lets gooooooooo
I still get emotional watching stuff like this. Being at that parade was the moment of a lifetime that I’ll never forget. #FlyEaglesFly
Facts Only happiest and coldest moment of my life
Brought me to tears watching this. That season brought so much happiness into my life. I keep that happiness going by reminding myself I’m not a die hard lions fan
I don't think it's a coincidence that the late Jerome Brown's birthday was on February 4th. RIP
We brought it home for Jerome
It was a great game between two great teams. Lifelong eagles fan, and man how sweet it is. Cried like a baby. Fly eagles fly!
After the all time collapse we just had this 2023-2024 season it’s nice to revisit this no one can ever take this away 💚💚🦅🦅💚💚
For me it was that 61 yard field against the giants you could feel after that game that it was our time
That Philly special play reflects life sometimes sometimes you have to be fearless, and risk it all and take big risks .
2017 Eagles will most likely go down in Sports History as one of if the most amazing underdog story ever from an Lions fan to Eagle Fans savor and cherish every moment of entering your teams name into the ever growing Super Bowl Book Fly Eagles Fly
I was locked up for this, so I tear up every time I watch it#EAGLESNATION
Real special team. Will always remember this team. Fly Eagles Fly.
Crazy to think this years team is better than 17’s too. Fly Eagles Fly
The Eagles were part of my childhood. I grew up with McNabb and Westbrook. One of my earliest memories is running around with a plastic Eagles helmet on during their training camp. This team was a culmination of a childhood of unconditional love for this franchise. Fly Eagles Fly!!!
2020 and still here. I know in the next few years , this man will lead us to a super bowl win ❤️
Lets gooooo!!!! There is nothing like being a fan of this team man. Its like family fr fr. FLY EAGLES FLY🦅🦅🦅
I cried mostly for the people who died that never saw it but I did and I cried it was a pure bliss moment when that confetti came down how long me and everyone in the city and around it have been waiting for it and the way it happened just ugh can’t make it up love my city and the eagles that give it all
America and Philadelphia's greatest football game in the history of the NFL.

I still cry. My dad passed 1 year before this exactly and he took my mom to every home game. I was with a house of 32ppl watching the game and crying. Not much can beat that day. We just left the grave and everyone was there. We took to broad street and hugged everyone, Amazing day.
You just can’t beat the story of this team, this year. I look forward to the other championships they WILL win but this one.....I will never forget it. Fly Eagles Fly! 💚🦅💚🦅💚
I cry every time i watch this. Been rewatching the super bowl every year since then and I will continue to till we get back. #flyeaglesfly
God damn I miss LeGarrette. We should have kept the man, I don't think we would have accomplished what we did without him in the locker room.
pR1mal players must move on.
From Philly born and raised, watch these Eagles Super Bowl vids all the time and still gives me goosebumps!! Love my team and city

Chills I confess I never was into the nfl until I saw invincible. I’m more college. I I’ve in Cali but always loved the loyalty of this fan base. Eagles forever

I'm getting chills from watching this video. We are going back to the SB 🦅🦅🦅
This is still amazing
I remember i cried that night with tears of joy. My grandfather turned me onto an EAGLES fan. I waited over 25 years for a super bowl win. That night i was so proud to be a EAGLES fan. So many years of disappointment finally paid off. FLY EAGLES FLY!!!! I know my grandfather was watching up in heaven with Reggie White, Jerome Brown and Chuck Bednarick and so many others that have passed away including so many other EAGLES fans so many grandfathers, grandmother's mom's dad's and other family members who never lived to see that special night.
😢 😢 😭
Couldn't have said it better 👏
Still waiting for a movie to be made about the 2017 Eagles 🦅 and the most incredible Super Bowl ever played! Why hasn't it been made yet!?!? A movie about the most epic underdog story!
Praying we get another ring this year!
I always knew this day would come and i knew when it did it would be like no other. Thank you to all the player's and coaches that made it happen.
I watched the full version on the NFL Network, got me teary eyed all over again... Fly Eagles Fly
Nothing excites me more than seeing the Edgehead Patriots not win it all. Thank you Eagles. Fly Eagles Fly!
I could watch this every day of my life and still cry. I got to watch the eagles win the super bowl with my family. one of the greatest days of my life. Still had the stitched foles jersey from years before
Foles said that’s how you like it then winked at Blount
FLY EAGLES FLY!!!! Best year of my lifeee!
It still makes me smile. Thanks Nick Foles good luck J-ville.
My best friend and I watched the games together, waking his wife up while watching our team on MNF! Sadly he passed away in 2016, when our Birds won SB 52, I was sooo excited and happy for our team..then the tears. I really wish he had more time, even if it was just to have watched our team win. Forever miss you, A. “Bodyguard” Molina..💚🦅💚
