As old codgers we bought a Buzz as our last vehicle. We like to sit up high, to see the road. Next week, we will have owned it for seven months, and have driven a little over 6 000 km. As many others are quick to point out, it is not perfect, but better than other MPVs we were considering. Think Citroën Berlingo! It offers more than adequate performance in mountainous, rural Norway. More importantly it takes us to our local village or surrounding cities for shopping, medical appointments, etc. An important accessory is the trailer hitch.

That’s great to hear! Would love to hear more about the daily life with the Buzz. And I agree, it has no real competition if you want an electric MPV.

Yes, unfortunately these trays are very flimsy and will only hold a limited amount of drink types.

YES! I hope the new Rivian partnership can make them understand this.

This is well over 60k Euros base in Germany, and you don't even get the drive assistance systems, ridiculous. I like it, but ridiculous. I bought the Model Y instead.

I have a video coming out today explaining exactly the reason this car is an early product.

Yes, first EV of VW that is better than Tesla. More ratteling and cracking, more driving- and windnoise and much more cheap feeling. Good job VW.

wouldnt buy a vw EV not known for good electronics/ wiring/ and support for first gen ev adopters

Their EVs seem more reliable than their fossil cars. They have already improved the software in the upcoming models now, so these will start to feel a little older already.

I thought matrix had a LED-stripe between the headlights or is that extra you must pay for?

Driving in B mode is not the most efficient way of driving.

    • @RoamingNorway

Porsche says so! The reasons for using it are more than efficiency, it enables one-pedal driving which I enjoy. It also helps control the braking when descending.

I was waiting to see what VW would produce with the Buzz. Overall disappointment. Cybertruck is more compelling

They are very different vehicles, but I guess some people will consider one of the two! 😃
