I've always wondered how war ships constantly get upgrades to their air defence systems however when it comes to their age old nemesis torpedoes, they still rely on old school charges or counter measure missiles (well as far as I know) many of which can easily be countered by incoming torpedoes. This hybrid system will most certainly confuse the hell out of any current defence system on any ship.

Unlike previous govts who followed the Ostrich policy, this govt is taking the early warnings very seriously and preparing for the war that is coming. The period between 2020-2025 is going to be known as the "5 Year War" of Democracies against a Dictatorship.
Its a torpedo launch vehicle it takes torpedoes through air and then releases the torpedo inside water about 10-14Km away from target submarine this increases the range of killing a submarine from 15km to 650 km as this is a (launch vehicle+torpedo)
