Bad timing. OnePlus is supposedly releasing a budget phone soon. I like LG, but they need to hit a home run at some point to get back in the game. Dual screens are a good start, but there has to be something else
LG is a very good brand for all things they made, but somehow their mobile division has a "stimaga of insignificant". Really hope Velvet will improve their standing in the mobile arena but the price is steep & will face much competition
Is this the LG V50 ThinQ? Or is the Velvet another flagship from LG? Is the dual screen is an add on that LG is going to make a permanent feature for all their future phones?
I will always buy LG phones, they are so much better than any other phone. I don't like iPhones and Samsung just have so many problems. Hopefully this will come to Canada!!
I will never. Ever. Understand why reviewers complain about notches. It’s so petty to me, it’s such a small minuscule thing, like you guys are just searching for something that HAS to be a con/wrong. When I had my S10+ I couldn’t stand the gaping hole on the front. I’d take a small teardrop over that, but as a whole notches don’t bother me or take away from anything in general use. Why is this such a huge issue, or even an issue period??

I am okay with the front camera quality for a mobile phone. I just have to call the store for my velvet box, pen, and case.
Beautiful phone and unboxing was great
It really looks great and I feel kinda obsessed, but I have a huge problem. The processor is not as powerful as it was at the LG G7 ThinQ I used. So I don't know, if this snapdragon is able to keep up. I love the design, the size, the screen and the cameras but I don't want a slow working phone....
Needs more lighting to see the reflection on the device.
M Adil that’s because it’s a darker color and it’s VERY reflective
Is the red dot in the video from the Sony camera you used to create this video?
Yup! Red light on the front is actually helpful when vlogging or doing A-Roll
@@jvtechtea ah, I found it distracting in a couple of shots. I actually thought the box was animated somehow! LOL.
BTW, Happy Belated Birthday!!
Didn't got the black shark 3pro full review.. Have been waiting for 3 weeks
No Quad DAC it's a big bummer😥
This phone is just drop dead beautiful. Wish Apple and Samsung would start making their phones more appealing. Seems like LG, Motorola and Google are on to something...
i really want lg to make more budget friendly smarphone with or without any notch..notch trend is gone ..anyway its good to see lg is try to comeback..
Bad timing. OnePlus is supposedly releasing a budget phone soon. I like LG, but they need to hit a home run at some point to get back in the game. Dual screens are a good start, but there has to be something else
Demmm..I used to used LG phone its was great LG G5..I didn't know LG come up with velvet..Is it out already??,if its out where can i buy it??
Great unboxing and hands on review as always stay safe bro 🙏
VELVET wow wow wow😱😱😱
LG is a very good brand for all things they made, but somehow their mobile division has a "stimaga of insignificant". Really hope Velvet will improve their standing in the mobile arena but the price is steep & will face much competition
If you want guys to see the Sunset Illusion color of the Velvet, Check out Isa Does Tech video! It's SO awesome. It looks like a Miami sunset vibes.
The front is really nice tbh
Makes me want to get the Xperia 1 ii. If only it wasn’t 1200
Is this the LG V50 ThinQ? Or is the Velvet another flagship from LG? Is the dual screen is an add on that LG is going to make a permanent feature for all their future phones?
If this would be available in South Africa I'd take it on contract because this phone man does something to my senses.
Does it still have the Quad Dac?
No.
Watching this on LG G5
Thanks for give me information
Nice design LG
That red case is lit.
I will always buy LG phones, they are so much better than any other phone. I don't like iPhones and Samsung just have so many problems. Hopefully this will come to Canada!!
I wish LG would come again to Indonesia
I will never. Ever. Understand why reviewers complain about notches. It’s so petty to me, it’s such a small minuscule thing, like you guys are just searching for something that HAS to be a con/wrong. When I had my S10+ I couldn’t stand the gaping hole on the front. I’d take a small teardrop over that, but as a whole notches don’t bother me or take away from anything in general use. Why is this such a huge issue, or even an issue period??
Notch is not at all a problem when compared to apple's giant notches
As always .. LG phone design is beautiful.
The reason LG not have a good selling, is not because the phone design. But because they not give an update for their phone ..
Its kinda sad actually. Thats the reason im stop buyin LG phone again .. G6 is my last phone. And move to Xiaomi.
Boy G6 is a 2017 phone. We're in 2020 bout jump in 2021 soon. I dare you to find a recent LG that doesnt get updated... Stop spreadin the lies like a parrot
@@t.b1z918 I bought a G6 for $700 in 2017. In my region, the G6 only has a one-time update from Android 7 to Android 8. It's very different from my Oneplus 3T 2016, which gets OS upgrades from Android 6 to Android 9. Even G6 provides security patch updates after 1 year of use ... and 2 years of use for Android 8 in my region. I am a G6 user with Android 8 ... and I know what I'm saying. And thats the reason why LG sales drop in my country. We prefer use samsung here.
@@suhardaily2926 whatever was your experience with your G6. It doesn't apply to the nowadays LG phone, so it aint no point to mention it... As i said i dare you to find a LG phone newer than the G6 that doesn't get updated every year at least.... Matter fact most of ya'll like to come thru LG video just to comment your bad experience from a 3 to 5 year-old LG phone. Better go to Oneplus video to explain how u satisfied with their phones...
