top notch camera work on this one guys, really nice and crisp video, keep em' coming!!
Never knew that about the box being a scale backdrop, that’s unique 🤙🏽
That's what Element does with any of their boxes. RTRs, kits, even the IFS-kit box offers two arcade machines to build from. 👍👍👍
@@GeeShocker Sweet, might need to get one now
Man that yellow power wagon body looks AMAZING!!!
I have two 1/10 scale rigs. One is a heavily upgraded comp crawler, and the other is a stock trail truck that I plan on keeping stock. I've been wanting something that is already really capable, but that I can modify a little bit. I think this falls into that category.
Really enjoy your vids & seeing your great reviews of the latest innovations & designs in the RC world… and I’m not even an RC enthusiast/ don’t currently own an RC, yet… 😉 Hey just a tip you & everybody probably already knows… but I also enjoy watching the scale model builds, and I see most of those guys use Tamiya’s Panel Line Accent for darkening their body/ panel lines, it seems to be much easier/ more forgiving to apply and may give you better results then the markers. … since its like a ink, or very thin paint, they just put a dab of it on and flows right down & around the panel lines, then they just wipe off any excess on the body with Goof-off or rubbing alcohol to leaves a nice clean consistent darkened panel line.. I think Tamiya offers it both Black & Brown.
thanks for showing the truck. I really like my trx4 but i am opened to check other products
Another great video by you guys. Thank your for motivating hobby enthusiast and the rc community
Nice video, especially like how you point out the spectrum.
BUT, the FT-shocks aren't Kashima coated, they are bronze anodized.
Yip... It's all about that clearance Clarence.!
Though if you'd ask Victor he'd say it was all about the vector, but what does he know.?
Always a pleasure to watch your reviews! I bought myself the Sendero HD recently - now thinking... hmm... should I have bought the Ecto instead?!?!?
Ok - it is not really water-proof... So well made decision... :-P
Cool truck, think the frame and suspension could make a cool trophy truck also
Thanks Brett, great review!
Matt's Offroad recover already has a RC. :D
I have this truck and love it!!! Awesome review!!!!!
1:52 Brett, PLEASE tell me where I can get those sick miniature DH bikes shown on the trailer!
Yeah, those were 3D printed bike from Knight Customs. He unfortunately doesn't sell them anymore. Team Integy has these scale bikes: www.amainhobbies.com/team-integy-scale-mountain-bike-intc28345/p-qqzzq2uq7z2xactz

Wooow this truck is really a great crawler :).
Gonna maybe build a station wagon body.
Ghost Buster Ecto plasm.
Thanks for the great & informative review! 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome!!!! Are theshocks adjustable to lower it? 😮
I got one of these for a Christmas present this year and on day 3 of owning it the ESC fried and for $470 I expected it to be at least as good as axial. When I contacted the company about the problems I was having they honestly were not helpful just seeming snobby. Maybe someday they can put worthwhile Electronics in it but for now you're better off getting a kit version
I used mine once, and decided go to a hobbywing 1080, cuz it works better, much better. I also put in a 35kg steering servo as it's much faster and stronger, being able to pop the tires out of cracks. In my humble opinion, this is probably the best rtr on the market. I only changed those out of personal preference. I'm am not gentle with my rigs, and in about 30 hard runs, the only part tha has failed has been the front bearings. Great rig!!
I have the green body and I think it looks fantastic.
Love the look of this truck
Guys, keep a schedule: every Thursday a new video..i am waiting these like small Christmas..🙃😋♥️
Doesn’t most performance takes have to do with motor esc axles and gears. That doesn’t necessarily take away from realism but I do see what you mean with the body realism. Valid points there.
What they are talking about in realism is how much hard molded plastic there is on the body. Like the traxxas trx4 defender is very real but it’s got a lot of weight up really high, so it’s performance leaves something to be desired. Higher center of gravity makes for a less stable truck, meaning less performance. Even if your motor and axles are great your heavy truck will still flip over. That’s all they meant. Yes for sure you are also right about the other things effecting performance, but this also does effect
@@kregadeth5562 yeah they were talking body realism I got them but I was just saying that most of your performance upgrades have little to do with the body. I think your crawlers at least with decent power plants do a little better with a little extra weight. Nothing crazy but a few extra ounces can keep the tired on the ground to a point. Of course if you’re running a super tall crawler with the lifted look it does become a problem. At that point you’re knowingly sacrificing performance for looks. Which is cool too.
@@kregadeth5562 maybe if I had finished reading your entire response before replying I would’ve realized I was just parroting what you already said. Sorry bout that 😂
Good evening (well it is in the UK )love the first review quick question you don't recommend using the full size battery tray .
As I don't run lipo batteries just NiMH batteries (long story which includes marital harmony) will standard stick batteries fit or am I going to have problems yours hopefully.
Geoff
Using those stick packs is ok but you might have some tire rub on the larger battery box with extreme flex/steering angles. Shouldn't be a problem other than that though. There are smaller NiMH packs available too and the SC480X ESC can handle down to a 5-cell NiMH pack, which could be really good; maybe something like this: www.amainhobbies.com/venom-power-hpi-baja-5b-5t-5-cell-6v-nimh-receiver-battery-pack-5000mah-vnr1506/p-qtqrt2tq7zxxactz

@@AMain_Hobbies thanks for prompt reply and very helpful suggestions you guys are the best 👍👍👍
I like it. And I get it... do you want it to drive well or look good.. I like the box background. Lol
First, I still need to buy from you!
nice video man like the rig
I'm digging it looks all right 💯💯👍👍
Just got this truck. Love it. But the Servo is already acting crazy (look at recent short lol) and Ive sent it to AE.
I chose this over spending $80 more on the vanquish RTR which it nicer - but I just always wanted one of these since they came out!
Wonder what the speed is with stick pinion and axe 550 3000?
I love the wheel speed it has and the trailing speed - but would like some of that sensors FOC action!
You need to do more scx24 vids I love them 💜💜💜
I’m watching this at 2am because this video came out 20 min ago
Clean off the access paint using a suitable solvent. Just youtube gundam panel line technique.
Like about $650 here in OZ
Love this ride!!!
Great review. Thx.
Never clicked so fast 😂
Same
Looks like Matt's new rig
Man I need ✌️
I like rockCrawlers I like that Amy hobbies with that like sing the bikes in the back
That thing is sick
I think that thing is very cool
Cool truck. However, I do prefer the steering servo to be on axle. Better geometry and lower COG.
@@ethanissan5012 realism yes, but I prefer function over form. I'd rather sacrifice a little scale for a slight performance edge.
Please review onisiki raikiri lipo battery
Lovely❤ truck
You have no idea how fast I clicked...
Its in the cart
The trailing arm setup was used in the traxxas udr right?
Yes sir. The UDR features trailing arms, solid axle and locked differential, similar to this truck.

Only 44k views?! What?!
Help me understand how the front wheels can spin faster than the rears and not have the rears be dragging and skidding along?
the rear still gets more traction than the front also its only a little bit faster
I Like it!
😎
next TRX6 please
can i install that body to my sendero? can someone reply hehe thanks.
That might work. You Ecto is a long wheelbase vehicle, so it may be a little long, or you may need to stretch your Sendero wheelbase.
-Brett
Does it have IFS ?
Ecto or Sendero HD for my 11 year old son who wants one for rock crawling?
Shoot, tough call. There are a some little differences between the trucks but probably not enough for him to notice. I'd get whichever you think he will enjoy looking at more because drive wise, they're both darn good trucks.
Some little differences:
The Sendero HD uses a linked rear axle and has the more common 313mm wheelbase, which most aftermarket crawler bodies are made for.
With the Ecto, it uses a rear trailing arm setup with a 325mm wheelbase. Some bodies are made for this length, but few.
You could say the Sendero is more aftermarket friendly, but the Ecto is a little better at the "up and over."
Either way you choose, your son wins!

I hate crawlers. But I love Brets videos. So I watch.
Super car
Ah yes 1 view and 10 likes, makes sense
It’s not equipped with cvd’s’s in the front it’s equipped with universals.
I was sold until he said, "electronics can get kind of wet..."
hmmmm...do I need another crawler?...Of course I do...so many rocks to conquer
The body is not long enough to match the wheel base.
Drop the J-concepts creep body on it. Looks great!!!
Is it waterproof?
Not waterproof, but some of the electronics are water-resistant, so you can get them wet but if submerged, they will fail.

@@AMain_Hobbies I believe I’ll get a marksman for my first crawler
Anyone wants scale look and excellent crawler combos, get the Axial Capra. Pay a little extra but peace in mind down the road.
The Capra looks scale? Uhhhh na.
@@CadillacDriver When it comes to real life crawlers meaning over 42" tires and caged frame -- you bet it is scale.
@@Lex-Rex so why was the Capra singled out? There are many like it on the market.
@@CadillacDriver you’re so obsessed with your toys looking real why not build a real rig instead of arguing on the computer about toys. Rc crawlers are fun but your level of trying to be “real” is cringe and flat out embarrassing. Plenty of 1:1 rigs to be had for less than 10k. Do whatever you want be keep your pretentious views to yourself you commented on the same video 10 times get a life leave these nice people alone
Yo
Hello Brent, I just wanted to tell you there Is a channel called arrma drunk and the guy who owns is absolutely hates you and loves to make fun of you, I have nothing against you I just wanted to bring this guy to your attention. Oh yea, and nice video
Pretty funny! He impressively dishes one insult after the other for the full video, which is not easy to do. But he's not trouble or concern though. He's just wants attention. Thanks for looking out.

8th comment 👍
I just spend all my money on a traxxas slash 4x4 vxl ultimate
meow!
Looks yellow ugly. Fortunately Paint is cheap.
It’s a toy.. if you want scale buy a real car..
Might wanna Run a full size" toy " purchase past ya wife
