Breaking Bad was the first series I ever watched. It was so good. It was the show that got me into other TV shows. But nothing came close for me. It was so badass. I love Bryan Cranston. Especially cuz I grew up watching him as Hal in Malcom in the middle 😅❤

I do remember his head in that scene looking a bit bigger, but I understand that shaving your head for a small bit of a movie is a little dumb. El Camino was a great movie and almost perfect end for Jessie’s story.
What's brilliant about the vfx adjustment is that it's more color and light based with a very minor adjustment to the actual size. The warm colors mask the width and mass of his cranial shape. Meanwhile, the light creates a rim lighting that pushes the form closer together and blasts any info that may seemingly be misproportioned. The size adjustment appears to be at the crease and fold where the back of the neck meets the base of the skull. Very fr****n Cool!!!!

It looked odd, but I figured it was because of age and the camera lens they were using. What I don't get is, they did all that to make Cranston look like Walter, but they didn't shrink down Aaron's neck or jawline or pitch up his voice a few cents to make him like young Jesse. Easily could have been done, fairly cheaply from a production standpoint. Eh, maybe they blew the budget on the bald cap.
Wasn't really necessary. Aaron Paul was older by the end of Breaking Bad and in El Camino he looked and sounded pretty much the same as he did at the end of that show. It was less convincing in Better Call Saul when he had to play Season 1 and Season 2 Jesse.

tv budget is way different ordeal than a big movie. Also everyone looks fine in Better Call Saul.
Doing that for all the screen time all those characters have would've been ridiculously expensive and time consuming. Not worth it, the audience enjoy the story and are not so shallow that they let a minor thing like an actor's age get in the way of that, are they?
