Dean Norris just being hank is always fun to watch
Guns are hot yeahhh😂 as soon as I heard that I was like that’s Hank
I'm pretty sure he's actually Hank.
SUSSY BAKA
Hank can be so rude and unnecessarily gross, and then can be so loving and loyal. Very interesting character.
It’s so cool seeing actors explain a scenario from their character’s perspective so accurately. Really shows how passionate they are.
Fun fact! Did you know in the episode "Ozymandias", Hank was never supposed to die? Actor Dean Norris had messed up a line, and after numerous takes, Vince Gilligan decided to actually let Jack and his gang shoot Dean Norris on set out of anger. When he realized it fit in pretty well, he was able to get it included as an actual scene! Bravo, Vince!
Wrong. It was planned.
@@connorseaturtle3162 lol dude he was joking

@@Nate-tf4jzno they actually just shot the actor of hank and gomez and buried them there. Rip such great actors 😢
@@Ahmadabdal_Actor Dean Norris actually improvised the part where Hank climbed out of the desert, Bravo Vince
This is all so safe and complex, which makes it even more puzzling how in the hell Alec Baldwin literally shot and killed someone on a set
Reports say the lady in charge of the weapons and ammo had up to 500 live rounds on set, even carried some in a fanny pack, on set. Insane to think as to why the hell ANY live rounds were on set. I'm guessing they fired guns in their spare time to blow off steam or something. There should never be any live rounds anywhere near shooting. So stupid and sad -.-
I stand behind Alec Baldwin! Because standing in front is much more dangerous.
@@RoloRolooo 😂

8:58 that was absolutely LEGENDARY lmao
For me it's interesting how much "photoshop" the footage goes through. Looks like a pretty cold and cloudy day out in the desert but the final footage makes it look like a hot summer's day.
the sky is completely clear if you look in most shots, it is washed out and white due to overexposure in some of this behind the scenes footage but thats not gonna be an issue in the actual show filming due to correct framing and types of cameras used

I envy anyone watching this superb series for the first time.
That was just me😂it took me 2 and a half weeks (bc of work) to finish it and I REGRET NOT WATCHING SOONER!
@@thecomedicgenius373 I know what you mean. I wasn’t really interested in watching it until I heard Rush Limbaugh gushing about it. Lol. Once I started it, I was hooked. I wish Vince Gilligan would come up with another series this good. To me, Breaking Bad is in a class by itself. Perfection.
I just finished it yesterday for the first time.
They sent Dean out with a bang.
Literally
I love this death because all cards are put on the table for Walt and Hank. Hank sees that some part of Walt does genuinely love and care about his family, including him. Walter really would’ve given up every dollar he had to save a man who he is no more related to by blood than Jack. But he was still family.
And Walt sees that Hank wasn’t just an ignorant macho man. That he had great principle and refused to compromise in the face of death. He died a better and more honest man than Walter ever was.
All true to an extent. Hank definitely has his flaws, like wining at all costs (sacrificing Jessie in order to get Walt).
@@MrFIRESEAL117 No doubt. Everyone has their flaws in this. But Hank is probably the closest we got to a hero in this story.
For some reason I always assumed the little puffs of smoke on the ground were like mini explosives… never thought about the infinitely easier paintball gun lol
9:56 one of the GOAT of the show ❤️
She is really a very good writer😍
Hank was one of my favorite characters for sure, how could you not love him? It was comical yet tragically heart breaking though how blind he was to Walt until it was far too late.
True, good scriptwriting because sometimes you can be too close to things to see the truth, the family can be in a "blind" corner. Hank left his work-self to work, as many of us do...
@@madmaxmel Yep very true.
It’s so shameful that Michelle McClaren didn’t win 🥇 an Emmy. Truly two of the best tv 📺 episodes ever. If Hank had called for backup they probably could have defeated the Nazis.❤

I didn’t really know about the existence of armorers before the Rust tragedy, so even though it all sounded lacking even from the perspective of a lamen, it’s fascinating to see that contrasted with the care and professionalism of the Breaking Bad armorer. Even the director was taking an active role in ensuring safety. And the actors were trained/informed enough to know what they were dealing with and what the risks were.
I just came here watching this with the same observations 💜
:39 Michelle almost walks into shotgun barrel
Even before the tragedy on the set of "Rust" I working by photographer at tv-show, which was using of gun-shooting (Blank version of AK's etc. I mean it was versions of weapons with a modification for not intended for combat shooting. It can't use combat ammo), there the actors (people who are fond of shooting) were forbidden by the director to direct idle weapons towards people (With recalling the tragedy with Brandon Lee). Because even a blank shooting weapon can tear cloth by a shot. It was in Russia. BTW sorry for my Runglish :)
@@mike_aviafan No apology necessary! I understood what you were saying 😊.
Yes, it’s crazy that even after tragic mistakes that have taken lives in other movies, there aren’t more widespread regulations put in place to prevent them. I’m a pacifist, but I’m also from Texas, so guns are…a bit of a thing here. Growing up, gun safety was drilled into us FIRMLY. If someone even walked in front of the target shooting platform while someone had the gun up and unloaded, they were scolded. Guns were always, always to be treated like they were loaded. I just can’t imagine treating them any other way.
Thanks for uploading this! I thought I've seen all of BB behind the scenes.
I love this channel - thank you for sharing this!
I was among Johnson's critics in the wake of the Last Jedi, but his work on Ozymandias was superb. I regret that his career got caught up in the Star Wars mess. He's a good director.
I, too, regret that he made the best thing in the Star Wars universe that people who never understood the series in the first place had tantrums about, but what can you do.

I will never understand fans of TLJ. Oh well.. Rian Johnson is definitely a great filmmaker. Brick, The Brothers Bloom, Looper, Knives Out.. etc. He just wanted to go and ruin Star Wars for some reason.
I love to see in all these behind the scenes vids that all the actors were just as much responsible for some of the nuanced things their characters did as the writers and directors were I love to see it

Great show, the best I have ever watched
Just amazing
I'm glad he got a small part in BCS as well 💚
what i loved about Hank as a character is that, even though he changed, developed and evolved as a person in the series and became more grounded and caring, at the moment of his clear death he retained everything that made him a legendary officer and spat in both Jack and Walt's faces, facing his death with dignity and a healthy amount of cockiness
Dean is an AWESOME actor, and Hank Schrader was the soul of the show.
What an episode

Walt at 6:40 being a casualty of war too. LOL

Every time I watch ozymandias I always think the same thing- DRIVE HANK AND GOAMY. JUST FCKNG DRIVE AND GET OUT OF THERE BEFORE THEY EVEN GET OUT OF THEIR CAR. JUST PEEL OUT, CALL FOR BACK UP WHILE YOU’RE DRIVING, AND GET TO THE ROAD. JUST. DRIVE. 😩

RIP Gomie 😢 he was loyal till the end...
In light of what happened on the set of Alec Baldwin’s RUST film with a simple rehearsal, it’s wild to see and hear just how much safety, training and caution is needed to film multiple high powered weapons popping off of this magnitude!
I love how much fun they're having filming such a depressing scene 😂😂😂
Best show of all time, easy

Chills. Everywhere.
Watching The gun safety was great. What happened on Rust .
That dude Michael Bowen was fantastic, I absolutely hated him everytime he was on camera 😂😂
Having a death and leaving in the show has to hurt.
the show was like 2 episodes from ending 💀
I know it was hard for Jonathan Banks when Mike was killed off.
Gotta give Michelle credit for letting the shootout go for a bit before it cuts to black. That to me, is the best cliffhanger TV has ever produced. As opposed to it just cutting to black when The Nazis start shooting.

Walt taking out his enotions on Jesse in this episode and throughout the whole series is so sad and infuriating.
It would’ve been great if hank arrests walt, but walt still carries on with his “empire” in prison, all with family turmoil still going on and brewing. Show probably would’ve went on for at least one more season probably this way.

Can someone explain to me how hank got hit in the leg? Because in To'hajiilee we see him taking cover behind the car, only poking his head and upper chest out to shoot. Then how did he get hit in the leg if he stayed behind the car the whole time?
Cars aren’t bullet proof 💀 and jacks gang were armed with fully automatic heavy machine guns that would tear through the car like butter
Too bad Alec Baldwin didn't watch this before trying to produce and star in his own movie.
He’s marshmallowy
did they film the interviews while they were still in makeup? Because why does that guy have a swastika on his head?? 💀
How does hank NEVER piece together that Jessie is Captain Cook? When he looks for jessies car, finds it and shoots Tuco, does he not notice the plates?
Very first episode, how does a man standing on the side of the road in his underwear, next to a wrecked RV in the ditch, just miles away from the fire AND crazy 8's car not ever draw any questions from the DEA? I mean they put out the fire, see the car, Hank comes out to look at it and never asks them any questions? Hey did you see anything weird here in the middle of no where that could be any clues to this fire?
AND who called in the fire??? How did the get there so fast????

@@bastek9633 it is? Since when?
At 5:18, did he say ‘weapons hot’ and hand the gun over to the actor with the barrel pointing straight up at his face?
nah
look closely, it kinda looks like the gun is pointing straight up his face but when the weapon gets into sunlight you can clearly see it is pointing away from him
With a name like Dean Norris, how could you _not_ be an alpha
In this scene there is a clear continuity error, some shots are with cloudy skies, and in others the sky is blue.
I mean what are they supposed to do, just see the clouds and go like oops I guess we'll wait till it's clear again? Nah they have tight schedules to hit so they keep filming. It happens all the time in movies where the sky isn't consistent for that reason
That’s the New Mexico sky for you. It’s hazy in the morning and bright blue in the afternoon. This is true especially in winter when it’s really cold. Albuquerque is at about 5,200 feet.

Alec Baldwin disliked this video
i wondered why this scene was so dumb.
Have to confess, one of the few problems in BB for me is the choreography in the shootouts directed by Michelle MacLaren, respectfully. One example (out of many), Hank and Steve look like they're positioned way out from their vehicle, instead of using it as cover, while the Nazi gang stays tight behind their own cars, as guns blast away. From my first viewing - and by now, I've binged the series many times - I find the sloppiness here very distracting. Takes me outside of the action. Another one one Ms. MacLaren directed was the clash between Hank and the Cousins in season 3, in the mall parking lot in broad daylight, with customers all round. That one is REALLY implausible. Makes me roll my eyes every time. BUT...that's tv! And, overall, I still regard both BB and Better Call Saul as the greatest.
@robvangessel3766 What was implausible about the Cousins shoot out 😖
watch the scene again. Watch how it's edited. Broad daylight, in the middle of a crowded store parking lot. The shootout goes one forever, with no customers or store management seeming to be aware of what becomes a long drawn out gun fight. Then, cut to a customer coming along taking no notice, and he gets shot dead. Shortly after, a woman with groceries or something comes walking along - likewise unaware of the carnage. She sees the guy get shot, drops her bag, and runs away. Now, Hank is lying on the ground. The Cousin who shot him approaches, and is about to fire, and then pauses and says, "No. Too easy." So, ever slowly, he takes his time to walk back to his vehicle to retrieve the ax. And ever slowly he returns with it, casually dragging it on the ground. Meantime, there's no security coming in from the shopping center; no sirens anywhere. It's silly!@@ObamaFromKenya
They literally explain it in this video. He is not AT THE VEHICLE when the Nazis drive up. So he fires really fast as cover for himself while he gets to a new position behind the truck to reload. Did you even watch it?
Rian johnson was there ? ugh.. star wars traitor, disney sellout.
