No, the meth-making process is in no way accurate to meth manufacturing. In fact, the real life DEA advised the cast in the (actual) creation of meth. Then, the show runners would instead show a non-accurate portrayal of the process because they did not want anybody to actually base their meth-making off of the show. They KNEW how to make real meth, but deliberately chose to show it the wrong way.

I legit came to the comments right after that to see if anyone else was saying something about this lol. Just make the list 106 facts if you aint actually got 107.
Okay...you showed us the state of Ohio, when talking about Vince being from Virginia. Walt's clothes got darker as he changed into a darker person. The clothing colors for all of the characters were chosen with care. The 'roof pizza' was NOT an accident, but a lucky shot first-take by Cranston, and quite deliberate. The Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant is actually a real place called Twisters. I live in ABQ, and there is a tour you can take here that is in an RV like the one on the show, and it takes you to Walt's house, Jesse's house, Hank and Marie's house, Los Pollos Hermanos, The Dog House, and it used to go by the spot where Combo got shot, but I don't know if that is still part of it.
This is just my assumption but in season 5 a spider was kept in a jar by a kid and Todd later on has it because he killed the owner, I assumed the kid was Walter and Jesse was the spider. The spider being trap is like Jesse being tortured by Jacks's gang and being kept as a pet. But in an episode where Saul, Jesse, and Walter meeting in a dessert. We see a spider lurking, and when Saul sees it he said "of course, its dessert" kinda like surviving alone. And during the last episode we see Jesse escaping on his own being free.
Another detail about the first and last episode is that in the first episode it is said that in the best case scenario Walter will live for 2 years and this is said on Walter's 50th birthday. And Walter dies on his 52nd birthday, which is exactly 2 years later. I don't know if this was already mentioned in the video.
Man you completely under sold the Mythbusters story. The machine gun thing was 100% confirmed they set it up with cut outs and the “Walter White” cutout even got shot IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE AS THE SHOW. 🤯💀
A guy I worked with was a meth head that had been sober for a decade and he couldn’t watch this show because of how triggering it was for him to use again.
So much of the production side of breaking bad is just stupendous proof that so much in life is about timing. If it didn’t start right around the writers strike, amc wanting to get going on their own, and Netflix needing more content just so many stars had to line up for us to get the masterpiece show we have now is just scary to think of every now and then
Your voice inflections at the end of each sentence are like nails on a chalk board. Oh, and on number 8, you say Virginia, yet highlight West Virginia.
It’s ironic that they thought Aaron Paul was too much of a pretty boy to be cooking meth, because when I hear or think about meth, Jesse Pinkman is among the first things that come into my head now lol.
Number 48 is wrong. it was changed to New Mexico because it was cheaper to film and the tax returns for filming crews were considerably higher then California. Vince Gilligan literally confirmed this himself
They mentioned that on a podcast. Their distributor beat Jesse to death, then Walt kidnapped him and chained him in Jesse's basement with a rope rigged to a shotgun so that he could kill himself anytime he wanted. Every day, Walt would chop off a little bit of him starting from the feet. One day, when the distributor has been cut up to the knees, Walt Jr. somehow finds his way there and goes to help him, and only then does he pull the shotgun rope to kill himself and Walt Jr. Thank God for the writer's strike. The show definitely would have been cancelled if that was an episode.

The blue meth wasn’t a result of purity, it was a result of the substitute that they used to cook with. Which is totally feasible
