Nighthawk Firehawk / TRS Compensator Removal / Loose Comp

Ive heard this is a somewhat common issue. I cant tell, but is it dimpled where the set screw engages?
Wonder if they would be better off using rocksett instead of red loctite...

Is the comp made of steel or aluminum?
