Am i the only one who has woken up from a dream to find I'm still in a dream...
I had that once too, I was in a really scary dream and woke up in my bedroom and everything felt normal until a scary thing got into my bedroom and said: better luck next time. Then I really woke up
Bro I yesterday felt like I fell from a building for a second and saw my whole body like- move for 15 secs😭😭
It was terrifying
I had that as a fever dream, it was terrifying af and after 4 days i finally stopped refusing to sleep when my parents told me to (dw i eventually went)
I did that in my dream 5 times trying to wake up
I only had 1 but it was extremely weird. I was watching yt on my phone then i fell asleep. I woke up and had a sleep paralysis. I could still hear the video playing in the background but i heard whispering and i was facing the wall and i felt someone stroking my hair and i saw a shadow at the bottom of my bed it was like something but with a hump on its back. My whole body was shaking, i couldnt move or speak. I could only just cry, thats what i did until i fully woke up.
same. ive also only had one. it was really uneventful. i woke up, and i could only see in black and white (im not colorblind), it felt as if i had gone deaf, and couldnt hear. I was in the classic sleep paralysis position and couldnt do anything. i woke up like 5 minutes later, very weird. I can still remember the feeling of myself trying to move my fingers and failing. Crazy!

Sleep Paralysis is just so terrifying, especially the ones where you are in an uncomfortable position and then you can't really breathe and then suddenly you realise like “Oh shit I’m dead”. Gosh that is just so terrifying

Yes fr! When I was 9 I had sleep paralysis and I couldn’t move anything, and I started having trouble breathing and honestly almost died. It was so scary I cried
i haven’t had sleep paralysis in awhile (gladly) but when it does happen it’s so scary and people at my school make jokes about it like “omg you look like my sleep paralysis demon lol” like it’s not funny it’s actually scary, and this comment describes it so well, like it’s even worse when your in an uncomfortable position.
one time I had a sleep paralysis demon like black and red eyes on my chest and it was very hard to breathe it felt like it was happening for a eternity I have so much trauma it was when I was 12

I've experienced sleep paralysis around 7 times, and it's terrifying. The 2nd time I've ever had sleep paralysis was when I thought it was my 1st. I woke up to the sound of breathing at the end of my bed, and saw Samira from the Ring at the end. I tried not to blink but every time I did she would get closer and closer until I shut my eyes. I thought of the words "Monsters aren't real, monsters aren't real, monsters aren't real" and I woke up. The last time I had sleep paralysis was, strangely, in the morning. I woke up to a woman saying goodnight to me as I was facing the other way. Then, her head went a full 180 degrees and started tickling me. But no, I wasn't getting tickled, it felt like waves of anxiety was washing over me as I would scream as loud as I could. I then woke up and started balling my eyes out.

I’ve had sleep paralysis when I was 10 but I was lucky because I didn’t see a monster but only couldn’t breathe for 20 seconds and neither could I move

I had a sleep paralysis when I was 11 and it was the most terrifying thing of my life. You feel a large and heavy weight pushing on your chest and keeping you down. All you can watch is the monster coming for you and you can’t do anything about. I wish it upon no one especially at a young age.

Mine is a man made entire of shadows coalescing and forming a demon. I could only see its demonic eyes. I first saw him when i was a toddler. I sat up once and looked at him and then he suddenly got the fucking zoomies and flew at me faster than me when i hear curry is for dinner. I decided one day to get rid of him, so i roasted the living shit out of it. I never saw him again.

One time when i was 14, i woke up and the hat man was kneeling beside my bed. He place his hands on the side of my bed and slowly moved them towards my face. It felt like i was frozen with fear, i didnt even try to move. Until he was about 6 inches away from my face i jumped out of bed and started yelling. At the time i didnt know what it was and forgot about it in a few months until i saw this video pop up and you talked about the hat man. Sleep paralasis is a crazy thing. Great video

I've only had sleep paralysis once when I was 9 or 10 and I still remember it years later. I actually saw the hatman but he was standing outside my bedroom door staring at me and then 2 minutes later I found the courage get up and turn the light on. Scary stuff dude, especially as a child.
Bro, I swear to god , I had a dream that reoccured multiple times for years where I left my room and turned to the left where the stairs that led up to the 1 floor (because I sleeped in the basement next to my sisters room) and would see a black figure just like the one in this vid slowly walking down the stairs and I wouldn’t be able to move. Turns out 6 years later me and my sister realize we had the same dream on the same nights and this shit still scares me to death so when I saw the black figure with the hat, it brought back memories and I find it crazy that other people have experienced this too just like my sister
Same thing, I pissed my bed and I walked outside my room with my sister to throw it in the laundry (we were like 4) and I saw a guy in a trench coat wearing a hat outside, we locked our door quick and stayed up the entire night. Scary shit

As a sleep paralysis experiencer, when i have it, i never saw a monster, but i always saw some weird shadow that creeps me out
I always see that in the dark and my dummy brain fills up the emptyness with weird shapes
Mine usually arent scary i just look around my room but cant move, although one time i heard something slithering around

as a 13yo who is schizophrenic and has had sleep paralysis i can prove that this is not what it looks like, my “sleep paralysis demon” was black, floating at the end of my bed, looked to be 6 foot 4 inches judging by the legs, kinda crouched almost like a frog, had a droopy glowing white smile and eyes, this lasted abt 10 mins for me and i actually woke up probably an hour or smth later

as a 13 yr old child who innocently plays roblox and experiences sleep paralysis it is really something you want to avoid because its straight terrifying and i tend to not be able to breathe properly and shake for ten to 30 mins and its just honestly horrifying. Not including the sounds i continually hear over and over it is just so scary. But i do appreciate watching someone else’s experience so i can know others go through it too. Idk if this is sleep paralysis or smth like im scared but i watched a ww2 graphic movie before going to bed and i woke up terrified about everything i was jumping around and checked everywhere for smth idk and when i decided to touch my bed or pillow i just teleported on this huge rock and everything went in 2k speed and then after a few mins i calmed down and still i was pretty terrified i just slept on my bed which became a rock for some reason and everything went in 2k speed i could see the ww2 and ww1 soldiers running and then i went to sleep and i was really sick that night it was also in 2:41 AM

IM TERRIFIED OF LUCID NIGHTMARES
When I was younger I couldn't sleep for hours because of the fear of lucid nightmare
I researched this back then it's my timeee
Lucid dreams happen whenever your brain realises it's in a dream
You probably went like "Is this all a dream?"
Then lucid dreams happened
Since it's your sub consciousness, whatever you think about turns into the lucid dream
So, that's how the "sleep paralysis" happened
You thought of sleep paralysis so it became a lucid nightmare
If you ever wanna get out of a lucid nightmare
Here's what I recommend
Run far away from the things
Imagine a circle around you where no monsters can pass, afterwards imagine a chair and a door behind you
Sit on the chair and close your eyes and imagine good and nice thoughts then fall back on your chair into the door
Idk if this works for you but it did for me
@@ratherunknown I have experienced one aswell I was 10 at the time it was like some old lady would appear out of a drain with a rake and kill my family I could tell it was a dream but when I tried to wake up I thought I did I could even feel the stuff that was happening sort of and then I realised it was another dream so I tried for a second time to wake up and still was asleep finally I was woken up by my mom but I wasn't sure for a while if it was a dream or not

if you want to get sleep paralysis
1. You have to lay down on your back and set a timer.
2. you cannot let your arms and legs touch the body or each other. I know it sounds weird, but they have. to keep apart.
3. Just relax, and the sleep paralysis. demon will come.

don't experience sleep paralysis. I personally got this from watching hypemyke/spooky videos to much, things you will most likely experience during sleep paralysis:
1. Hard to breath
2. you can't talk
3. you're sweating (this depends)
4. you can't move (you sometimes can, but mostly, no)
5. easily scared (idk about you, but my bed makes this creaking noise and sometimes by closet so that makes me want to cover myself with the blankets, but i can't because i can't move)
6. imagining you're not alone (this pretty much means you imagine there is a monster staring at you, inside the closet, or look directly at you at the end of the bed, the most common for me is probably the closet, but in most cases. you just can't move and you're in the dark)
7. figures (the most well known is the shadow figure, but this almost never happens during sleep paralysis)
i got it since birth i tought i was dying and suffocating alot of times
I managed make my arm hover slightly before I woke up from it.

sleep paralysis happens when your body sleeps but your mind is still awake and working so you cant move your body since its asleep, but your mind starts to imagine things becuase its the only thing working, this is why the first method said relax your body (to make it sleep faster than your mind) and keep your mind active (to make sure its always awake during sleep).

did you know that if you enter sleep paralysis and keep your eyes shut while imagining yourself at somewhere in great detail, then imagine yourself walking into that place, you can EASILY enter a lucid dream, hope you take this into consideration as I haven't seen the full vid yet
And when you enter a lucid dream NEVER look at a mirror or it'll turn into a lucid nightmare.

Things happen how you expect things to happen, if you've been told your dream becomes a nightmare when you look into a mirror and you firlmy believe into that, looking into a mirror in a lucid dream will turn it into a nightmare because you expect it to because you've been told thats what will happen. There are no rules in lucid dreaming. If the saying was; your lucid dream will turn into a wet dream when you look into a mirror, you'd do it. So why not believe that thats whats gonna happen? In the dream its just you and only you, no rules set by others, just your own

Sorry if there are some language issues, im not the best english speaker but here is my experience about sleep paralysis:
I experienced sleep paralysis almost every night. Sometimes just multiple times at a night. I had a depression and was really burned out. I saw, heard and even felt monsters. For example a long fingered cold hand on my back. (I was laying on my side) One day I just started closing my eyes and ignored them, because I wasnt even scared anymore. I was just bored after severel nights the same thing. But then I just started experiencing the monsters setting me in pain. real pain... I was so shocked after that, because I didnt know that you can experience pain in a sleep paralysis. at the beginning it were just scratches on my skin, but after time they tried harder. I often felt something just like ramming severel times a knife in to my back at the same position. Once I had a nightmare, where a big robot monster with a drill-hand was chasing me in my house. I knew it was a dream, so I just stopped running to end the dream and let it get me. But I slipped right into a sleep paralysis. I was laying on my side again and heard and felt it directly behind me. I closed my eyes to calm myself from the nightmare, but then I heard the drill and it was ramming into my side. I actually felt him drilling into my body from one side to the another threw my spine. It didnt do this to me in one second. It was like an eternity. He drilled really really slowly with his loud machine and the smell of oil threw my back. I even felt my spine breaking. There was so much pain I just wanted it to end. Then the drill stopped on the other side of my body and hoped that it is over. But he startet the whole process again just backwards leaving a big painful hole in me and it wasnt a small drill. After that I was able to move again and I was there left with a dizzy feeling in my stomache just processing what "happened" a second before.
Nowadays im good and sleep paralysis are now really rare for me and when I have one they are really harmless. No pain, no noises and no sightings of creepy monsters.

I’ve had a few sleep paralysis experiences , they’ve all had the same “ person “ or “ entity ” . She had some sort of green or dark blue hat , and pitch black eyes .
The first time this happened I can remember I woke up and couldn’t move , I noticed some sort of hallway where my books and desk were , the room was green , and that lady appeared , slowly moving out of the shadow in the hallway , she stranded there for a while , looking at me , younger me must have been terrified .
My most recent experience had that same woman , it was a scary , I kept trying to to move , as she just standed there . But this time , I heard some sort of noises before I got to that state , it was the sound that dogs make when they breathe out , I thought it was my dog , but I remembered that she was downstairs . I just stayed there wondering what had made that sound , but then , it happened .

Everytime I wake up laying up my back I usually get paralyzed but.... I found ways to move
1-(basic method) try to move
2-try to use all your power on an arm and move it
3-SIT UPS!!
4-try to move your body to the side(you must use every inch of your powder to move to the sides)
5-try to kick the air then grip the bed using your feets.

Sometimes I just wake up on my side after a dream and I can’t move but it’s not sleep paralysis I just force my self to move and if I’m in a scary dream I force my eyes open
