15:47 I don't think Chang was playing when he said, "why don't I get Chang and tell him that yourself." Because if y'all remember at the end of the first ep of Season 2, Chang is shown arguing back and forth with *himself* in the study room, showcasing his insanity.

This show is so dark under the surface I love it so much
I love the little girl sitting next to Dean Pelton. He says" Jeff Winger looks sexy, even in a coffin" She just slowly side eyes him until the cutaway. Gets me every time.
thomelvig there's a lot of shows and movies where you see extra jokes every time you watch it but community is one of the few where I don't think I'll ever get every little joke or easter egg or funny background moment
@@joevictor53 YES, so true. I've seen "Cooperative Calligraphy" too many times to count, and only yesterday did I discover a tiny dalmatian toy in the air vents with the monkey's stash. Wonderful. I hope to keep finding details like this forever.

The irony of this episode is that Chevy Chase didn't like his Community role either.

@@Chillixion Which is weird because season two is Pierce at his lowest. To the point where he's the most reoccurring antagonist through the season.
Thats not quite it. He liked it originally. But then Dan Harmon started wanting him written into more of a villain and a caricature and it got on Chevys nerves. Because it was almost certainly because Harmon didnt like Chevy personally.
The next episode straight through to the Christmas episode of season 3 are what is considered the Golden Age of Community. It’s all awesome!

I think it starts at 2.07 imo, tho there are a few eh episodes like the one where Chang frames Jeff for kidnapping.

It's amazing that they still don't think Chang is crazy. They have no idea where he's heading.
Lazy Spark I think they make him too crazy in the later seasons.
I bet this episode is basically a reference to how Chevy really behaved behind the scenes when he didn’t like the script.
I don't think Chang was kidding when he told that thing to Shirley based on the creepy look in his eyes.

If you think about it, the name of the episode can also fit episode 2x16, since it has a celebrity in it, and it takes place in a hospital.
"I love you, drug" XD Still as hilarious. Not the best episode, but as you say, it's more about the characters. And it's also the calm before the storm. Note : you should watch two in a row.They're half the length of "serious" TV shows.

My god, Chang was such a good payoff in this episode.
That gravity falls scene Suraj talks about in from Society of the Blind Eye, about 1/3 of the way through season 2. Damn, we're not even halfway through season 1 on the reacts

It's been a lot of fun watching your reactions. This was the first episode I ever saw, the Troy singing like Whitney Houston part that Pat laughed at got me too. After that I had to catch up with my friends who were already hip to the show, great stuff and one of my favorites!

Another example of a character talking to another character and getting what they need themselves, is in one of the first few episodes of The Good Place.
(Which I highly, highly recommend reacting to. I need to become a patron just to nominate that show to be reacted to lol)

THC is a more common and low risk drug, hell technically coffee has a drug in it. Narcotics, pharmaceuticals, meth, etc are probably the drugs they refer to.
They're adults, they can do whatever. They're against kids doing drugs, like any sensible person would.
